YouTube user maa051975 (how easy to remember!) has posted a great video about ideas for casting in New Moon. The video has a description of the character from the book before the casting suggestion, so you can see just how apropriate the suggestions are. Of course, remember this was made a few weeks ago so ignore the suggestions of Seven Strait as the older version of Jacob Black. Here is what maa051975 has to say:

If I could cast for Stephanie Meyer’s New Moon this is how I would do it. This would be a dream cast for the upcoming movie but the budget would have to be high to afford some of the A listers I have selected. My favorite characters of New Moon are very well described by Stephanie Meyers book but the casting in Twilight took a complete deviation from what the book mentions. In my video I show a written description of the characters with their picture. Most of these characters require very little to no physical change beyond hair color to match the book. A lot of casting suggestions I have seen online have actors who do not look the age, ethnicity, or physical appearance of the characters they represent.
