I totally agree with you. Additionally, it doesn't seem to fit Bella's character to do this while wearing a flimsy cut-up-sheet-type of dress while jumping off the cliff. The book may describe what she was wearing, but I can't remember. I would venture to guess that it wasn't a flimsy dress and I don't think it was night time.

I could almost see this as a teaser, but the prospect of a movie involving teen suicide will not go over well if this went public and that's what this would look like to those who haven't read the book. Besides, Bella would never wear that dress. It's more realistic to see her in a t-shirt, cut off shorts and probably her converse (even if she is swimming). I'd like to add one more side note, based on Elizaaa's comment. I think Taylor Lautner is the cutest and he's perfect for young Jacob, but I'm surprised at how many people won't recognize that he can't be Jacob for the remaining movies. It just isn't realistic. Not just physically, but Jacob's edgier as he grows into his new form, as well. I really think Taylor should play Jacob in New Moon until he's away from her for a month due to the "change." Taylor Lautner cannot be Jacob in the second one. Everyone keeps saying how cute he is and how cruel it would be to replace him. They need to replace him because of his "cuteness". Number two is good but I think this scene shouldn't have such sad/sappy music. Besides it will come off as teen suicide and that won't roll over well with the press and reviewers. It's gonna be interesting to see what Chris Weitz is gonna do.

Wow i love all of them. I first one almost made me cry. Second one i loved all of the flash backs. Third one i loved the music.

maybe i need to go back and read the cliff diving part again. I just can't picture the dress....

And i dont like that it looks like she's committing suicide, that's very lame. I know i'll ball my eyes out when she is left wandering aroundin the forest after being abandoned by Edward and i know how much i'm going to cry when she is screaming his name hoping she makes it to him before he steps into the sunlight... but i refuse to cry when she jumps off the cliff and if they make me i'm going to be very upset with the movie. I cried reading the book, so I think I would cry more watching the film.

(Haha ironic) while I was reading 'new moon' that's exactly how I pictured bella jumping off the clif, lol mini slideshow and all!^_^ but the ending was so perfect, - when she kinda floating in the water and thing about dying + and edward kinda giving his crooked smile!^~^ I hope chris weiz sees this website!(maybe give him some ideas?)

The book may describe what she was wearing, but I can't remember. I would venture to guess that it wasn't a flimsy dress and I don't think it was night time.

I love twilight soooooooo much. Edward is by far my favorite person in twilight. And, i'm also reading all the books. I'm on the 3 book, eclipse. I'm on page; 312. ITS SO AWESOME!!! Edward is also hott.

Taylor Lautner cannot be Jacob in the second one. Everyone keeps saying how cute he is and how cruel it would be to replace him. They need to replace him because of his "cuteness". By the fourth book he's supposed to pass for being 26. He looks 15. Copon would fit the role a lot better, and they could make the transition less obvious with makeup and editing if they did it in the middle of the movie.

I agree with you Katie I feel that those scenes are very important !! because the book talks so much about them, also I wonder how they are going to include robert pattinson in more scenes because although she has flashbacks they aren't as many and shes just hearing voices so its not even Edward in reality, just her subconscious.

everyone used the same music video clip that's why it's the same girl in a nightie over and over. the title was in one of the credits... No. 4 i think? but it's not like that's the only cliff-diving clip in the world! i ageree they should find more material :-)

i don't like how they flash back to parts that already happened in twilight. Number 5 is really good though. it only flashes to edwards face, because she's obviously going to be thinking about him.
I really don't understand why she's wearing a dress. She should be wearing something tomboy-ish like she always does. It makes no sense.

but she does give up trying not to drown tho cause she said that she would rather die listening to his voice than not so i think that when she is drowning, that part should be sad

I agree with you Katie I feel that those scenes are very important !! because the book talks so much about them, also I wonder how they are going to include robert pattinson in more scenes because although she has flashbacks they aren't as many and shes just hearing voices so its not even Edward in reality, just her subconscious.

Ok seriously... Why is every video clip I see for this having Bella in a dress???? She would never wear a dress unless Alice made and her and for those of you paying attention Alice wasn't there... i loved new moon because i am a total jacob freak.... but i am nervous about the phasing and the actual werewolves..... even though twilight was a box office hit.... new moon has a so-so budget and i hope that the effects are not crappy.... i will be very sad if they are crappy....

everyone used the same music video clip that's why it's the same girl in a nightie over and over. the title was in one of the credits... No. 4 i think? but it's not like that's the only cliff-diving clip in the world! i ageree they should find more material :-)

Okay... This little attitude you guys have about bella wearing a dress.... The ppl who made these videos did not tape this themselves people. The videos came from music videos and stuff. I'm sure its very hard to find a perfectly filmed cliff dive of a girl in jeans. So chill. Use your imagination, seriously.

I loved all of those videos. The part where bella jumps was one of thee most pivital parts in the book. I cant wait to see how they create that scene in the movie. I am also really excited about seeing the scene in volterra. When she was racing against time to stop edward from being killed. That part in the book gave me goosebumps.

uhmm..I thought in the book she was not trying to kill herself and that she actually screamed in delight when she jumped..this looks more like she is trying to kill herself in the video...I would hate it if they put that kind of a spin on it. Bella is not weak like that!

They almost made me cry. When I read the chapter I quickly went to the laptop and typed in google and said why did bella jump off the cliff. and i guess i wasnt reading the stuff i was just interested in the vidoes and see what happened. but how come in the book she just wanted to jump of but i havent seen the movie but everyone says that she wanted to kill herself in the movie but i dont belive them so i will just watch the movie myself.

Well I LOVED all of them, but the only problem is that when bella is going to cliff dive its during the day and I wish these clips would be in the movie, but I have seen a clip where they made edwards voice come out instead of the writting. I wish they would make a clip where jacob saves bella or when he phases into a wolf

In a magazine I read it said... that something happens in New Moon that is not in the book does anyone know what that might be?
