i wonder who the other actors are that they are considering but i do think that dakota is a good choice i just wonder who the others are

i've allways pictued dakota as jane just because she has that sweet look with a hint of evilness not to mention the fact the she's a great actress.

some plp dont want her becuase shes very famous and they want to keep the movie indie but its too late for that. even plp that havent read the books are fans and besides its all about who can bring the characters to life and pull them off. i think she would do great!!

In the end, as long as the integrity of the books is perserved, I think most fans of the books will be content at the least. Obviously not everyone feels the same about certain actors playing parts, there have already been heated discussions on Jacob, LEah, Jane, Alec, etc. If all actors pull their weight, the filming holds consistency to the books, and previous movie, I see the movie succeeding. But, if anyone of these important facets fail, so too does the film, and ultimately the sequels afterwards. Just look at how many movies were awesome, but the sequels failed because of these reasons.

Oh…I really like her…I think she fits perfectly in the description of Jane with the benefit that she is also an outstanding actress…so, for me it is a great choice and the fact that she is “a big fan of the series” only makes it better because that means she is passionate about the book and hopefully she will bring that passion to the movie. I hope she really gets the part. I know the preference of many twilighters is that unknown actors get pick for the movie….but come on people!!!....there is no reason to be that radical…the girl is great and between her and an unknown who doesn’t do it well….it is great to have her!

I think Annasophia Robb who played in "The Reaping" and "Because of Winn Dixie" would be a better fit for Jane. She was so scary in the Reaping and is definitley blonde with an Angelic face. She would be my first pick - Dakota Fanning second though.
