peter facinelli carlisle cullen 200901271503 TwiDad Peter Facinelli Thinks Fanning Would Be A Great Jane Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in Twilight, was pleased to hear that Dakota Fanning may be cast as Jane in the New Moon movie, noting to PopEater that “She is a phenomenal actress… [The role of Jane] would be great for her,”

He also says that–

“I have been very fortunate to work with great people. The ['Twilight'] cast is really great. We are like a family,” Facinelli said. “[During filming] I took on the father figure role, and they were all my kids. I love all of them,” he added.

Facinelli says he is excited to start working on ‘New Moon,’ which is expected to start shooting in March. Even though he hasn’t seen the final script, there is one scene he’s excited about. “There is a scene where Dr. Cullen stitches up Bella’s hand, and there is a really nice conversation… I think it’s important to the book,” he said.

newmoonmovieorg 5scenes New Moons 5 Most Anticipated Scenes Five of the top sites covering New Moon–your humble host included–were asked by Reelzchannel to participate in an article about our five most anticipated scenes that will be in the New Moon movie. Here’s a sample of what we had to say: [SPOILERS AHEAD!]

His Golden Eyes:

  • Bella, Jacob, and Mike at the movies — This is one of the lighter moments in the story. This scene provides some much-need comic relief after Bella’s comatose months. It’s nice to see Bella moving forward, and let’s face it, as much as we adore the pesky-but-adorable Mike Newton, him puking his poor little guts out will provide us with countless laughs.

NewMoonMovie.org:

  • The one everyone is waiting for, Bella jumping from a cliff (There have already been quite a few fan videos about this one!)
  • The high-speed scene where Alice and Bella are rushing to save Edward in the stolen, yellow Porsche
  • Laurent discovering Bella in the woods, and then the werewolves menacingly coming out of the forest
  • A glimpse into Alice’s vision (flashback of the future?) of Edward walking out into the sun and everyone seeing him glow
  • The large group of tourists being led into the Volturi feeding room and slowly realizing that they have walked into a trap

twilight20somethings.com

  • Port Angelas/the first time Bella “hears” Edward
  • When Bella wakes up after Italy and thinks it’s a dream, and then her epiphany

Twilighters.org

  • When Bella stops Edward from exposing himself in Volterra
  • Meeting the Volturi

BellaandEdward.com

  • The whole of chapter 3, ‘The End”
  • Bella’s birthday party

What do you think about our choices? What scenes are you dying to see? Check out the whole list at ReelzChannel!

interview 200901262220 Bellas Mom Renee Dwyer, aka Sarah Clarke Talks New Moon Sarah Clarke, who also stars in Trust Me and 24, plays Bella’s mom Renée Dwyer. MediaBlvd caught up with her to ask her a bit about Twilight and New Moon

MediaBlvd> Will you get more to do in the next film?

Sarah> I hope. Because it’s about the kids, they wanted to focus on them. The first scene was a really good establishing character scene for Bella and her mom, and they cut it down so much, I was like, “Oh, my God!” In the first book, the mother is written off as a nag, but they made a really good mom character in the movie. If she does come back, in a substantial way, a lot goes down with Bella in the second book and you would need your mom for. Being a mom now, and maybe I’m biased, your mom is a really important part of your life.

MediaBlvd> So, you haven’t read past New Moon yet?

Sarah> No. I don’t have a lot of time to read. I read Twilight so fast. I had the audition on a Monday, and I got the book the Friday before, so I read it over the weekend and I loved it. With New Moon, I’m taking a little more time with just because I’m working.

MediaBlvd> How do you feel about the change in director? Do you just go in and do your work, and you don’t worry about that?

Sarah> Yeah. I feel like there are reasons for everything. I think Catherine Hardwicke did a great job with the first movie, but the Harry Potter movies have different directors, and it’s always interesting to see how they can influence it. I think it will be exciting to see.

MediaBlvd> You’ve been involved with two high-profile projects, with 24 and Twilight. Do you get fans from both, or is Twilight overshadowing everything now?

Sarah> It’s a totally different fan base, in each case. With Twilight, people are so obsessed with that book, and they really want to know the ins and outs of what people think. Just going onto the first book, I couldn’t say anything about what’s going to happen next. I’ve just read New Moon, so I’m just now getting familiar with it. I would say it’s completely different groups of fans. With 24, I get very technical questions about the ins and outs of the CIA and anti-terrorist work. With Twilight, they ask, “Do you like werewolves or vampires?”

All is not well between demon-magnet Bella and Edward Cullen, her vampire Romeo. An innocent papercut at Edward’s house puts Bella in grave danger when various members of the Cullen family can barely resist their hunger at the smell of blood. The Cullens promptly leave town, afraid of endangering Edward’s beloved, and Bella sinks into an overwhelming depression. Months later, she finally emerges from her funk to rebuild her life, focusing on her friendship with besotted teen Jacob from the reservation. Bella’s unhealthy enthrallment to Edward leads her into dangerous and self-destructive behavior despite her new friends, and supernatural complications are bound to reappear. Bella’s being hunted by an evil vampire, and Jacob’s adolescent male rage turns out to be incipient lycanthropy: It seems many Quileute Indians become werewolves in thepresence of vampires, their natural enemies.
