TwiDad Peter Facinelli Thinks Fanning Would Be A Great Jane

Peter Facinelli as Carlisle Cullen in New Moon Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in Twilight, was pleased to hear that Dakota Fanning may be cast as Jane in the New Moon movie, noting to PopEater that “She is a phenomenal actress… [The role of Jane] would be great for her,”

He also says that–

“I have been very fortunate to work with great people. The ['Twilight'] cast is really great. We are like a family,” Facinelli said. “[During filming] I took on the father figure role, and they were all my kids. I love all of them,” he added.

Facinelli says he is excited to start working on ‘New Moon,’ which is expected to start shooting in March. Even though he hasn’t seen the final script, there is one scene he’s excited about. “There is a scene where Dr. Cullen stitches up Bella’s hand, and there is a really nice conversation… I think it’s important to the book,” he said.

    That's one of my favorite parts too, where Dr. Cullen stitches Bella up. I hope they don't skip that scene.

    Of course they wouldn't cut that out. It's way too important to the movie to just be like "Oh, well this can go."
    I would be extremely pissed if they did that.

    I like that scene too. Since they didn't really talk in the movie a lot it will be like their first conversation(even though we know it's not). I hope they include it.

    JulieannaClark when it comes to book converted into movie, I try to leave my expectations from low to moderate. Meaning, I would not be surprised if they left that scene out or make it into something completely different. Just think about the meadow scene or kissing scene in Twilight.

    They tend to leave a lot out. I was especially mad, when they left the part out about Alice at the end of Twilight in the movie.

    he's really a cool doctor... i remembered a line while i was reading the book... " he looks more like a model than a doctor"... hehehe...
    i also liked the part when he stitches up Bella's hand because Bella learned so many things about Edward and the Cullens with that conversation :)

    he def pulled of the calmed frame carlisle had. i didnt like him when he was cast cause of the hair but when i saw him on screen i immediately thought of him as carlisle. i didnt watch out for him making mistakes during the movie, he was perfect.

    and i really hope that they dont cut out that scene from the movie (the stitching) because a very important conversation takes place in that part of the book

    I mean she used to get on my nerves when she was younger...but not so much anymore lol...

    But if they do cast her will they make her cut off all her hair or will they make her wear a wig like ashlee greene did for alice?

    i think dakota will be great for jane because she kinda played a brooding sorta character in "hide and seek" so shes good at being mysterious.
