If they got a big break working for Disney then good, that's what they had to do, but how are they ever supposed to switch over the doing the stuff they want (liek this movie) with people being rude and being all "NO disney stars!! it would ruin it!!" give them a break!! and the story is not about leah! i mean, i could see if this whole thing was about a really major character but the fact is its not. she's a minor character. and yeah, in the other two books she has a bigger role but its still not huge. also another thing people must consider is the directing will totally not be like the directing in Disney! derr, they aren't gonna act like that. they are gonna act like the rest of the characters. my last point to make is that their are also a lot of comments saying they aren't physically right for the roles. not native american enough or like saying their voices are wrong. but alice and jacob aren't physically right either.
so yes susannah! you made a good point and i completely and totally agree! Vanessa Hudgens is exactly how I pictured Leah! and I hope either her or Brenda get it! Even though it's not a big deal. I agree people are being wayyyyyy wayyy to overly dramatic too. So yeah! In my opinion Vanessa would be awesome.
