200902201810.jpgLooks like the tides turned for AnnaLynne McCord, and she’s no longer going to be in New Moon due to scheduling conflicts. At least, that’s how she’s spinning it now–

AnnaLynne McCord, who was slated to play the receptionist to the Volturi vampires in Rome, Heidi, tells OK! she’s no longer going to be in that role.

“I am so disappointed but it doesn’t look like it is going to happen with my schedule,” she revealed to OK! at the L.A. premiere of Fired Up on Feb. 19.

Fans of the 90210 star might still have some hope, as she adds, “But keep your fingers crossed for me. I hope that it still does!”

    Correction: The character Heidi in the New Moon book is the bait/fisherman of the Volturi, not the human Receptionist!!!!

    The OK article has already proved to be unreliable once because it first claimed that Paramore was producing the title track for New Moon which was recently countered by Paramore on their LJ. Not only that but, as mentioned above, Heidi is the fisher; Gianna is the receptionist... Reliable journalism? I think not. So... take this article with a grain of salt...

    We just have to wait and see who will play all the characters and quit getting worked up about all these rumors. I don't know if anyone else notice that when summit or another company asscoiated with summit has a movie coming out there will be someone in that movie rumored to be in new moon look at Dakota Fanning when she had Push a summit movie for two weeks she was all the talk to play Jane now nothing now that ALMC has Fired Up a movie that had a trailer with twilight now she is all the talk to play Heidi now movie comes out and she is no longer in.

    I can't say I'm disappointed. Every since I've seen her in Nip Tuck, I've never liked her. I know that is terrible but her character deeply un-nerved me in that show enough that I'm not sure I'll ever like her....Sorry!

Her eyes were "the strangest shade of violet - a color that might result from blue-tinted contacts over red irises." It does not mention her with green eyes.
