i loveee twilight but yea they are asking for too much that i cant provide...i can make the video but then the way they want it and i need a passport wich i dont have..i am 19 and i am a single mother of one child..and if i wasnt i would try my hardest to win..but i cant...it would be a experience of a lifetime..but i dont have that much free time and the ability to pick up n leave my child..owell im going to still enter in as many contest as possible (the ones i can do)..i already won third place for a twilight short essay contest..so ima keep it up...the best of luck to whoever enters..

Have you realized that the United States is in a recession? This means that Summit is going to spend as little money as possible for contests like these. Buying a plane ticket to fly from God knows where is expensive, we do not have the money at the time. Flying from any where in the U.S. and Canada is cheap, compared to the prices in Europe. When the person wins Summit Entertainment would have to accommodate the contest winner in a hotel, which they would have to stay in as the cast. Make-up and stylists are not cheap too, they ask for a certain amount of money per person they do whatever on. The point is, it is fair, the Europe had the chance to be Harry Potter FIVE times with three more to go. To the millions that sign up to this contest will think it is unfair because only one, one, person will win. That will be devastating to them because they had a chance and did not make it. In a way you are lucky because you will not disappointed, but in another you will be because you could not try out. This is fifty-fifty, the good and bad. So, quit your whining and moaning, and be happy for at least being allowed to see the movie.

Yes I did realize and I understand why it is open to only those in USA and Canada, however it will mainly be because it'll be much easier to get work permits (?) for them. And yes I do wish good luck for those who do enter the competition, even though the chances are so slim. However that doesn't mean that I can't be envious of those who are able to give it a go, and it really is great/ very generous of Summit to do a comp like this in the current climate no matter how small the part is.
