I don't understand all your reactions. This fan has spent considerable time creating something herself and that something is celebrating the gift of creating life, which is a beautiful thing. It's made of felt. How can it be gross when it's made of felt? A fetus goes through many stages before reaching full maturity. All this fan has done is show the baby in the early stage of development. It's tiny is all. If you think this looks like a mutant, then go look at pictures of fetuses in the womb during the first trimester. Are you saying they look like mutants too because their limbs aren't fully formed yet? We all looked like this in the early stages of development. It's supposed to look like a fetus and does. After all, while I was reading “Breaking Dawn” I had a mental image of how the birth of Renessme would look and sound (according to Stephenie Meyer's description) and I'm certain most of you did also. Although I have never created a model womb, nor have I ever been inclined to, I am a creative person when it comes to cooking, sewing, crafts, etc. There are times when an idea hits me and I must try it immediately. When Stephenie Meyer had her “meadow dream,” the very next day she wrote about it – we all know it as her first book “Twilight.” So, although vampire baby wombs are not my specialty, possibly this person's talent could be used in the special effects department on movie sets.

I don't see what the big deal is. It's someone's interpretation of a womb… While it's not something I would create, who's to say that it is horrible? Unless you have valid critical criticism, or you're willing to show how a true womb should be, you have no reason to say anything.
