I just need to say that I cannot believe how much the "New Moon" movie is going to deviate from the book! Isn't this what true "Twilight" fans complained about regarding the first movie!? Anyone who knows the series and loves it to its core will find the adjustments made to the story ridiculous and unnecessary. And the wolves are supposed to be gigantic! Not normal sized at all. With all the CGI and other movie magic that exists today, why is the "Twilight" series getting short changed? They should have hired the director from "300" to take over these movies. Then they'd be worth seeing.

it's really unfair the date in uk but they want to do a premier with all the cast in here at least we can watch them live if we got the chance to go to london and wait hours and hours in a sidewalk...................

I was so excited when I knew that my brother got accepted to a University somewhere in the States. I hope I get to visit him someday and probably attend a Twilight convention or even the Premiere! Malaysia's too boring. Hahah. But like last year, the movie was out a week after the States. I hope it's a bit earlier for New Moon. I am hyped! Bring it on, New Moon!

With the first one it showed in the Netherlands in December.

There are other European countries who dub movies, e.g. Italy. I don't get it why Italy gets its dubbed version in November and we have to wait until Janurary 2010. :(

I know, I was wondering about that, too. It just isn't logical.

probably due to legal correspondence in international copywrite laws, or different edits for the U.K. rating system, or number of theatres available for opening night due to other movies that have contracts attatched to them for showing dates. this is a BIG release so they would want the maximum number of theatres available for opening night (wider exposure and bigger box office numbers for opening)

The reason it comes out so late in Germany is because they dub over it. I will probably go into Belgium or the Netherlands to watch it.

(only language might be a problem but I suppose a lot of people can follow english - I'm dutch and i can aswell.. watch a lot of films without subtitles because I just can't wait till it FINALLY is in the netherlands)

These release dates are wrong, because it is released in the uk on the 20th of novermber not the 27th.
