New Moon Poster Contest: Voting Time!

UPDATE: Voting has ended! The winners will be announced tonight, Thursday 2/19 at 8pm EST during our Chat Room Launch event! Be there or be square.

It’s that time! Last night, our New Moon poster contest entry period ended, and now it’s time to take a look at all the entries and start the voting. Each and every entry was amazing in its own way, and thanks to everyone for all the hard work they put in to making their New Moon posters. But now, it’s time to vote.

Take a look at all the entries below, and scroll down to the very bottom to place your vote. Voting will end in one week–February 18th at 11:59PM EST. The person with the most votes as well as the runner up will get the awesome prizes. Good luck to everyone!

Note: For fairness, AnaB’s amazing entry that is shown above won’t be eligible since it’s now the basis of our website’s look.

A lot of these are really well made. I think the first one is the best, but for anyone to create one of these is just freaking amazing. actually anyone that loves twilight is amazing!
but i hate it how some of these have pictures that dont look the characters in the movie. theyre pictures from real agencies when theyre all wearing hella makeup. its just not bella edward and jacob!!!!!

I did the poster the the day before the deadline in one hour.
I just could not take my wife bothering me anymore. hehe.

they look totally awesome!! it's difficult to come up with a concept for a poster..
but it's much more difficult to fabricate that concept into a solid creation..

I especially like what it says at the bottom, with "If the reason for your existance didn't want you anymore, would you still risk everything to save them?" or something like that. But..It's just so perfect. I can't explain it right. It just fits the best in my opinion. I liked almost every singile one, but i'm not going to say which ones i didn't like. This was really a good idea!

the title placement, the credits, the font colors, even the character's skin tones [except for jacob, of course] was based from the twilight poster..

my first entry was actually it's third version already..

The one by "CarloAdrian". It's simple and it convays the message well. A lot of the others are way to busy looking and would never be a sucessful movie poster. But I agree with a lot of people who are saying that a lot of them look very professional. This one was my favorate becuase bella looks like shes trying to hold herself together. Very well done!

I specially loved how you kept the official posters' style, with the black background and the fading pictures. I personally tried using that style when I made mine, but it didn't really work out... and you know, if I get my hand on some decent pics, I might just try again!

Wow...these are amazing! I love the "lovebuggy" ("these violent delights have violent ends") poster. It was really expressive of the dark time Bella went through without giving away the story to those who havent read the books. The websites poster by AnaB was also great, along with the one by SarahA--it was really representative of Bella's life. It was dark but there were also points of color and light (the flowers represent Jacob and the end where she's running to save Edward). Any of those three would be PERFECT movie posters. There were tons of other great ones, too, so sorry if I didnt mention them here. Fantastic job!

But one thing we have to realise, personally as much as I love Edward, this movie is more about Jacob and I like the simplicity of the sites example poster of the woods and the wolf, was very poetic and beautiful, but from all of these samples I think this one was the good at making a collage piece.

the title placement, the credits, the font colors, even the character's skin tones [except for jacob, of course] was based from the twilight poster..

I love your idea! But I think, if you made the made a bit more lighter (the colours not as dark), it would look even better.

The best by far is the first one by CarlosAdrian (CarloAdrian) with all three faces! Bellissimo, Carlo! Conceptually, very effective in its simplicity! My second favorite is Llanos73 (Llanos_73). Great effort on everyone's part.

Llanos73 equally displays the three of them and looks professional. There isn't too much written to take from the images. Plus, the posters submitted shouldn't be missing Jacob because he is the story in this book. It also shouldn't be missing Edward - He is Bellas obsession.
