They have already been recasted! look it up on stephenies site the whole wolf pack has been casted the only who hasnt been recasted is Taylor Lautner Srry to bring the bad news to fans of Krys and Solomon

I believe that Solomon and Krys should stay. In a movie based on a book you can't really change the actors so they should stay. If they hadn't wanted for them to be in the movies they shouldn't have given them the parts but they did. Also I personally think they are good for the parts.

Krys wasn't Emby, he was an extra. Solomon was barely Sam. He was practically an extra though, with those 2 very short lines, one day of filming on set. That being said, I wouldn't mind having them both back. Realistically speaking however, the parts weren't theirs to keep; especially Krys. We don't even know if he can act. (We don't even know his last name.)

I couldn't agree with you more Rain Girl. You took the words right out of my mouth. I auditioned for the role of Emily or Leah for New Moon. I'm at a very frustrating place right now with how the system works for the media world. I've been reading all the updates I'm very upset with how they are turning out. Solomon Trimble and Krys did wonderful I thought. I'm a member of the Lakota Sioux tribe and I'm enrolled on the Standing Rock rez. I'm sick and tired of seeing only stereotypical indian movies on tv. The story finally stepped out of that image and formed a real idea of modern day Natives. Its pretty simple...Natives should be played by Natives. I doubt my chances for this role because I've read that their are pretty much going for models...being a sad college student in montana isn't going to get me anywhere. The casting director was polite and she said she would be picking all Indians...but we'll see. Indians know the difference from a city indian and a country indian. Well this part was MADE for a country indian. I can't get over the fact that people honestly don't care...as long as their making money. I love these books so much, its going to be hard to watch them if they aren't getting real Native Americans. Amen to that

They are soo off task they bettrer not change Sam and embry. They probaly haven't contacted them because there only in a couple of shots just like in twilight only went there for a day to shoot, but Summit should really get up to date.

As a Native American, I'm really angry Summit is chosing to have casting calls in Canada. Yes I know the movie will be filmed there and Canada has Native nations but the characters in the book are NATIVE AMERICANS! AND yes it makes a difference. Why is Summit not going to allow the Native American actors who portrayed Quileutes in Twilight to return for New Moon and Eclipse. Let these Native actors keep their roles especially Kyrs as Embry and Solomon Trimble as Sam. There aren’t that many opportunities for Native actors so why deny us this opportunity? I’m also aware of Native actors who are qualified and have followed all the rules to be considered for some of the other Quileute roles and Summit is basically ignoring them. This is very puzzling because Summit claimed they spent amost a year trying to find a Native actor to play Jacob but couldn’t find anyone so they gave the role to Taylor Lautner. His heritage is French, Dutch and German but I noticed recently he quite suddenly remembered he had Native blood in his family. He's as much Native American as I am Martian. Exactly where did Summit look for Native actors? Oh I remember now - New York and Los Angeles! How about having a casting call where many Native Americans actually live – Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, or Tennessee, etc.!? I think they would be good, but I wouldn't really mind of they changed it. they werent even identified in twilight as sam and embry. and besides, jak'es supposed to be with quil and embry and not like sam at all! what is that about??

This is freaking rediculous! What is the NM crew doing? Sitting around doing nothing? The movie is supposed to be shooting soon and they haven't really done anything.
If Solomon and Krys are not in NM i will flip out. And then after i flip out, i will tell everyone the end rusult.

i think that they were very good in twilight even though they were only in there for a little bit they were how i pictured the charecters to be in new moon and the whole series for the twilight saga i hope they both stay
