I can’t make this stuff up folks! The oh-so-loveable big fella of TwiGuys, Kellan Lutz, has some fun with the new Tonner Edward and Bella dolls, as do Rachel LeFevre and Edi Gathegi. Sadly, due to notoriety, they say they’re doubtful of incognito open mic nights from Robert Pattinson and the Rathbone during New Moon shooting. [via HGE]

Brief recap of last night since you all probably need to know what Robert Pattinson was doing? Have heard from multiple sources that they went to karaoke after dinner. Great. The Twihards have a new favourite activity. Karaoke!

Today it’s back to work. Here are Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed this morning heading out together, always inseparable whenever possible. Love it. And Nikki’s stock just shot up for wearing her glasses out. Eyes must still be stinging from the previous evening…? Some people refuse, absolutely REFUSE, to be seen in public with glasses on. Not Nikki. So my girlcrush on her is growing.

Reelzchannel has posted an article that asks a few fansites what we want to see in the Twilight DVD extras– here are our choices:

• I’d love to see bloopers of any sort — the more embarrassing, the better!
• Deleted kissing scenes a-plenty!
• Listening to the audio commentary from RPatz, KStew, and Catherine Hardwicke will be a real treat.
• The Robert Pattinson piano montage sounds very intriguing.
• Supposedly there will be a New Moon teaser on the Blu-Ray edition — that will be very exciting for NewMoonMovie.org to cover!

EW Popwatch lovingly sums up all the Eclipse director rumors and wonders if the “director dance [is] more entertaining than the movie?“–

Another day, another “news” item proclaiming that there’s a frontrunner for the director’s chair on Eclipse, the third film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. Will it be Drew Barrymore? About a Boy’s Paul Weitz, brother of New Moon director Chris Weitz? Girl, Interrupted’s James Mangold? The Orphanage’s Juan Antonio Bayona, the Guillermo del Toro protégé whose name is getting serious ink today? Or someone who’s yet to even be mentioned?

Do you think the Twilight deleted scenes we’ve seen so far have been cut for a good reason? EW Popwatch thinks so–

If you’ve seen the sneak peek of three deleted Twilight scenes from the March 21 DVD release, do you think director Catherine Hardwicke was right to trim them from the final film? I’d have to say yes, yes, and yes. While in theory, a second bedroom kiss sounds like a good idea, this one would’ve taken away from the intensity of the, um, more stirring session in the movie.

It looks like hair and makeup is getting a drastic overhaul for New Moon–let’s hope for the best!–Nikki Reed spoke to director Chris Weitz, and she was told–

“[My conversation with him] was revolving around the look of the Cullens; I don’t know if we necessarily got it right the first time around,” Reed explained. “We weren’t expecting all the weather issues and all the makeup we had to put on. Every single character [had a hard time]. I know a lot of people think it was just me that changed how I looked physically, but Peter Facinelli has black hair, and he has to go back blond [for 'New Moon']. And Kellan Lutz, who is a natural blond, has to go back to dark hair.”  

But what will this mean for the fans? Reed said the die-hards might notice some of the changes — like her plan to wear a wig this time rather than dye her hair again. “My hair fell out,” she winced. “It took 36 hours initially to make me blond, and every other day, I was bleaching my head and my skin. This time around, we are testing out different wigs and stuff.”

Uh-oh! I have full confidence in the special effects skills of the Chris Weitz team, so I’m hoping for the best–but this sounds like a big change–what do you guys think? I’m just hoping they can get Arlo Weiner to help consult on outfits. Tee-hee.
