Bella Truck New Moon Jacob Black Twilight

Bella’s truck was spotted at the set for Jacob Black’s house and garage, with two dirtbikes in the back of the truck. Twilight-Gossip captured these awesome pics and video yesterday. Looks like things are really heating up on the New Moon production near Vancouver!

  • I agree about the house, in the books, it's described as a large, white, victorian style house with a large wrap-around porch. it's the INSIDE that has the modern feel to it with wide open spaces and lots of windows. With each movie, the house becomes more prominent in the story, such as the graduation party, the wedding and Bella being there during her pregnancy....I really do think they will need to change the house from the original one in Twilight. At least, I'm hopeful of that.
  • nomesters
Yeah, I really hope they do too! I just know that changing it drastically will be weird for people not used to the story, you know? But I think fans will appreciate it being closer to the book, and fans make up most of the viewers anyways.
I just don't get why they didn't make it right the first time, like they really went out of their way to find a house so completely off the mark.....someone should explain that to me.
  • regi
I asked my friend the same questions yesterday, i was like its like they sat down read the book and were like "ok ,guys what is the best way possible to make this movie the oppisite of what it was in the book". the entire movie is out of order, they dont plan to go to the meadow like they did in the book, she doesnt find out about edward being a vamp until after the meadow scene and in the book she already knew he was a vamp before she went with him. what was up with that random field trip? I guess the movie was still enjoyable but they really changed so much about it that it was a lil frustrating, i know movies do that but some of the things they do take away some of the character developement ( bella always cooks for charlie, it shows that she is a caretaker but in the movie they went out to eat all the time) and i agree that they need to change the house too much goes on in that house in the next books.
  • nomesters
I do agree, things were pretty out of order. Although, I do think Bella knew he was a vampire before they went to the meadow. I could be wrong though.
I really think they need to change the house. Catherine had to get permission from the owner guy, some Nike person, in order to film there, so hopefully since its just such a hassle to go there again (not to mention its not in Canada) they will find a better house, something that actually matches the description and that looks empty when Bella stumbles on it again in New Moon, when she thinks seeing it give her Edward's voice. (That would require them to actually keep that scene, and seeing as how they probably wont do many scenes with just Bella, its a long shot)
I think I like what Chris has done so far; I just have a really good feeling about him.
  • nomesters
I agree, things were sort of out of order. I also really think they should have put a lot more dialogue between Edward and Bella, like their relationship should have been developed so much more, because now I feel like to people not familiar with the books, if they keep that emotion and intensity with Bella's character, like with the depression, that reaction isn't going to make sense to people who are just familiar with the books. But that is just my opinion.
As for the house, that was SUCH a big disappointment. I hope, seeing as how it was such a hassle to get permission from the Nike guy to use the house, and seeing as how it isn't in Canada, that they won't even use the same house. It is looking good right now, because they aren't using the same house for the Swan residence, they are just building something like it, and I doubt they could build something like the Cullen house in the first movie
So far I like what Chris has done - lets hope he stays truer to the book!!
  • yea!!! i agree in soooo many ways! my biggest disappointment in the movie, apart from the meadow scene is THAT house. im really hoping they change it cause its going to turn into a very important place in the story. i think jacob's house was perfect, they need to find a good house for the cullen's as well!!
  • regi
ya and edwards room was so small too! how is the huge bed that edward got for bella in eclipse gonna fit in there without it looking so awkard. I always pictured the house looking a lil bit like the white house, its only modern inside.
  • yea xD i kinda pictured it like the white house too. and they didnt even did the scene where edward was in carlisle office and explained about the volturi....i dont even think that house has an office -_-
  • Kelly
I agree! very pivitol scene. It was needed, and forgotten. I feel sorry for the people who didnt read the book and are left to Catherine's vision. They are going to be so confused!!!
  • nomesters
The meadow scene...god. I just don't get why they changed it so much. Also, why couldn't they have added some dialogue? To the part where Edward and Bella are just lying on the grass looking at each other, they could have added some dialogue and stuff.
  • Kelly
they had dialogue, you just couldnt hear it. lol
  • Kelly
And what about the feild of ferns? the house is sappost to have a field in front of it. But the biggest thing that bugged me was the house was not white. How can you go SO far from the story line? (yes to me that house IS a part of the story line, IT IS) I wont be mad if they act like Catherine never showed that oober-modern not-white house. I will turn a cheeck and be happy if they film at a totally different house that suites the story a little better.
  • Kelly
AND what about the fact that they are sappost to have a creek, or river in their back yard?!?!??! that plays a big part to. uuugggg I wish Catherine wasnt such a freaking hippy who didnt think this movie was going to make it. "Chris W. Please change the cullen house. We wont care!"
  • Kelly
Wow things are really starting to come together!!!
  • Elloo
Ohhh the dirtbikes look like what I pictured! :D
  • nikki
wow seriously, filming hasnt even begun and pictures and videos of everything haha
  • raz
Neither of those look like a Harley sprint. Another detail missed by the new moon crew? :-(
  • i am soooo excited for new moon the movie ............i like the dirt bikes
  • alex
does anyone know where this is located in vancouver?
  • Rae_is_Switzerland
no.. i dont -pouts- i have two days off.. might travel to poco to see if i can find it:P other than that

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!! -jumps around like an idiot-
  • deedee81
God this is all so exciting, I cant flamming wait! Its like I have ants in my pants!!!!! Lol
  • nomesters
Oh. My. God. This is amazing!!!!
I can't not look at this stuff, but I wonder if it will make the movie less exciting in November...oh well, there is no hope for me, I can't deal without this stuff!!
  • sarah
    haha!
  • mocha_love
is that the same truck? it looks more square. and the lettering looks different. maybe it's just me.
    but still, exiting!!!
  • IFoundMYEdward
    OMG that's amazing!! CAN'T WAIT!!
  • nomesters
This doesn't have anything to do with the bikes, but I just wanted to know peoples opinion on this.
I liked the Cullen house in the first movie, it was beautiful, but I don't think it matched the books description at all. So now I am torn between having continuity with the first movie, and making it more true to the book....

    any thoughts?
  • Sia
Look like what I had imagined in the books ! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE !!!
  • Kate
i know exactly what you mean. the house was beautiful in twilight, but it looked nothing like how the book described it. it was so modern instead of "timeless". i do think continuity is important, but i think it being like the book is even more important. i would love to see a house more like what the book describes.
  • nomesters
Yeah, I agree. It was definitely beautiful, but nothing like the book. Isn't the house supposed to be white, with like a porch? I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure it is white, and really open - I know she said it was open in the movie, but it didn't feel open to me.
It's just hard, because it will be weird if they completely change the house, but at the same time better if it is closer to the book.
  • Elloo
Ohhh the dirtbikes look like what I pictured! :D
  • nomesters
Oh. My. God. This is amazing!!!!
I can't not look at this stuff, but I wonder if it will make the movie less exciting in November...oh well, there is no hope for me, I can't deal without this stuff!!

    Hahah agreed nomesters!
  • LionandLamb20
    I AM SOOO EXCITED!!!
  • yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i saw this in my head while i was reading so many times during re-reads and this is just RIGHT!!!
everything in this movie looks perfect! the pack <3, jacob's house and rabbit, perfetct!!!
i have soooooo high expectations about this film i can hardly make it till november!!!
did i mention the pack is hot!!!??? xD
  • nikki
wow seriously, filming hasnt even begun and pictures and videos of everything haha
  • Kelly
Seriously... they cant put every detail in there who cares if the bike isnt a Harley sprint or that jakes car isnt red...As long as they get the main, important parts right I dont care much about the other stuff
  • Karolina
I just had the same thought. It doesn't look like the truck that was in twilight.
  • raz
Neither of those look like a Harley sprint. Another detail missed by the new moon crew? :-(
  • Kelly
Seriously... they cant put every detail in there who cares if the bike isnt a Harley sprint or that jakes car isnt red...As long as they get the main, important parts right I dont care much about the other stuff
  • Elloo
I don't think it matters to have the EXACT bikes in the movie. At least there are some, ya know?
  • raz
Seriously... If they miss the EASY stuff how much OTHER stuff are they going to be missing. I think thats the point everyone seems to be missing. These are minor easy to get details that are so simple... There is no excuses to miss things like this. Its petty I do know but it doesn't help concerns that if they miss small easy to correct items like this that they'll miss something big, or get something so wrong that its not even close.
  • WetDishRag (AKA deedee81)
I wouldnt worry to much, compared to what Catherine Harwick got wrong this is only minor, and remember that when Bella got the bikes they were basically scrap and Jacob only mentioned that one was a Harley. To be honest I dont even know what that is, Lol. But saying that, me personally, Im delighted with Chris Weltz and how true to the book he's been so far. I think from his past films that he is an amazing director and he will do a great job with New Moon. CH butchered Twilight there was so much wrong with it and so much missed. I dont know maybe it's dented peoples confidence a bit. Time will tell though Lol
  • Brittney
I know...Twilight was messed up in so many important ways...like Edward basically dragged Bella to the meadow, no trust; leaving out Jasper's talent and his kindness (not to mention it was waaay too easy to get away from them); Bella cooking dinner at home (and NOT being a vegetarian, gah); Victoria was NOT at the prom (duh, the vampires would have smelled her!) and NOT crying (since a vampire can't cry); Bella talking in her sleep would have been so easy to mention (without that Edward kinda comes off stalkerish)...and that's just my short list. It can't get much worse, but it looks to me like Chris is doing a good job so far, so i will give him the benefit of the doubt.
  • I am with you. I hope Catherine never directs another movie. She did such an awful job. I have a feeling Chris is learning from her mistakes. I have to wonder if he has seen this website? Lol
  • Brittney
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the film left alot to be desired. I still bought it and watched it, though, because I'm obsessed like that. ;) The good news is that with a new director and higher budget, it can only go up from here. I'm exited....maybe Chris is reading our posts.:P
  • mesofunny
I agree 100%. It wouldn't have even cost any extra to put in how Bella cooks for Charlie or talked in her sleep. The cooking made her seem more mature as in more ready for the things to come.....and her talking in her sleep is when Edward hears her say she loves him out loud for the first time. He already knew but it was still significant. So many of the changes made NO sense. I personally LOVED in the book the way he stroked her face in the halls, almost afraid to touch her. Such a small detail but all the real fans would have appreciated it! Little stuff like that matters in their story. We didn't want the cliffs notes version.
  • I totally agree. Bikes, especially in that condition aren't that expensive. My guy friends' biggest complaint about the first movie was that they didn't have the same cars as in the book. I didn't know there was more than one type of silver Volvo but they sure as heck did! Also apparently Rosalie's car was completely wrong? They'd better nail the make/model etc of the yellow Porsche or I'm going to have a riot on my hands. I bet if they asked they could even get company's to donate cars (just to borrow) in exchange for their use in the movie. Especially Porsche since it is such a memorable part of the Italy rescue.
  • regi
yes! i noticed that too! edward is not driving the correct volvo and rosalies car was dif too. i didnt think it was that big of a deal tho, everything else was way worse.
  • stephanie
I don't mind a little slip withe the bikes or the color of the car but I'm just hoping there not gona screw up and miss an important part like the cliff scene...sounds silly I know but they did manage to pretty much skip the meadow scene..come on can't get more important than that since if Stephenie didn't dream the meadow scene there would be no books! I hope this new director gets it fight cuz the last one was junk! a total disappointment
  • i am soooo excited for new moon the movie ............i like the dirt bikes

  • Chris10
My friend got married last night and is on her way to Ireland right now!
  • WetDishRag (AKA deedee81)
Really?? North or South? Its very like forks here-very green, it covers everything Lol. There is a lot off countryside but its beautiful, there is so many nice places to go, but believe it or not though If I could escape it I would be away in flash, I always dreamed off living in America, my parents think Im crazy Lol
  • nomesters
I love Ireland, I wish I could live there!!
  • WetDishRag (AKA deedee81)
I'll gladly swap with you if you like Lol
  • Chris10
I'm not 100% sure of her plan but I know she makes a few stops and then ends in Dublin. She came to Forks with me so I'm sure she'll notice the similarities. I can't wait to see her pictures when she gets back. Sounds like a killer honeymoon!

That is what I was thinking also. I wonder why they wouldnt use the same one *weird*
  • kendall
omg lol ur right...maybe the other one broke down or something...idk
  • I'm not sure the truck from the first one was the right model or year or something like that. My guy friends were discussing the vehicle discrepancies from book to movie but I was distracted by the movie which they were watching with me for the forth time that night/morning, lol.
  • Elloo
    Hahah agreed nomesters!

  • WetDishRag (AKA deedee81)
Im really torn, I loved the house in twilight but only because it would only be the type off house I would love to live in myself. That said it was so far off the mark with what the book describes as the house. I pictured it in my head as being a really grand house with a big entrance door in the middle with steps leading up to it and big windows on either side. and a big open space on the ground floor with the furniture and tv on one side and Edwards grand piano on the other. I always ingained it to be like an English stately type home, I wish I could post a picture to describe what I mean. I'm probably going to get malled for saying this, but New Moon feels like a completely different film to me, I think with Twilight too much was changed and left out, while there was some good bits I feel like CH butchered it and some bits where just laughable. Please dont kill me for saying that.
  • nomesters
So, you basically just described exactly how I pictured the house too! Creepy!!
New Moon (hopefully) will be a very different film. I do think Catherine messed it up, although I think maybe a lot of the problem came from the script.
And don't worry, I agree with you about the laughable stuff. Because I did too, like the line with "so the lion fell in love with the lamb...." I really would have liked them to cut that out instead of putting it in that way.
And the makeup at some points made me laugh, like it looked like Edward was wearing lipstick and his face was really pasty....I just hope the next film is better. That said, I have gotten used to the really awkward parts and now I force myself not to laugh.
I think thy got the garage pretty much right, but not the house. There was too much art stuff, and the piano scene..oh god.
  • WetDishRag (AKA deedee81)
Oh no I love the Lion/Lamb part but this nearly killed me " you better hold on tight spidermonkey" hahahahahahahahahaha even now It makes me go into hysterics, when would Edward ever say anything like that ?? Lol

If you look really careful in the school lunch hall at Edwards arm hair you can see that they have bleeched it so much its yellow and you can see the white powder on them as well. Maybe I noticed it cos I am a beauty therapist and can see flaws like that. Im just so happy with the changes Ive seen Chris make so far. Dont get me wrong I love twilight cheesy bits an all but I just think that New Moon is going to be on a much better level.
  • nomesters
I dunno, like just some of the stuff felt weird to me, like when Edward followed Bella into the forest, that was sort of strange, I wish they had kept that closer to the book, and I wish they had found a better meadow. Some of the lines felt really forced, but don't get me wrong I liked the movie over all.
I agree though, so far Chris has made amazing changes. I wish I could hear or read some sort of interview with him so I could understand his vision a little better. I almost screamed when I saw those pictures of Taylor and the wolf pack because Chris was in them and I was like "Oh my GOD! he IS actually working on the movie!!!" Haha. It was just cool to see him in the flesh. or....on the internet I guess.
So far so good, can't wait to see more of the production!!
  • haaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahaha spider monkey!!!! where the hell did they get that line from???? i was laughing soooo hard at the theater that people stated to stare. and i agree on that whole piano scene.....CHEESY!!!! geez!! there are sooo many things to criticize i don think i can put them all here.
MY MONKEY MAN!!! what do they have with monkeys???
  • WetDishRag (AKA deedee81)
Haaahaaahaaaa I forgot about that, Monkey Man indeed, I love twilight but the comical side was excellent LMAO
  • gottobekidding
Did anyone else catch where Carlisle says "Nice Kitty" to Rosalie after Bella calls her out in baseball? It's funny but, where did that come from?
  • tweter76 . . . vamplover
That is actually one of our favorite parts because it helps show how much she really dislikes Bella and Carlisle trying to keep the peace.

So excited about NM. Thank you to whoever is taking all these pics and videos!!! Without you we would be going insane with anticipation!!!

About the house....I wonder if they are going to change it, or just build a set to resemble it (just like Bella's house). I agree that the house they used in the movie was definitely not what i had pictured in my head!!! I'm sure whatever they decide, it'll be great!!!!

BTW....I have so thoroughly enjoyed my dvd this weekend!!!! i watched every part of all the discs! Loved it all!!! And my husband actually wanted to watch it! We watched it last nite and he said he liked it!!! I couldn't beleive it!! I thought he was going to make fun of it!

It was just cool to see him in the flesh. or....on the internet I guess.

So far so good, can't wait to see more of the production!!

  • yea!!! i agree in soooo many ways! my biggest disappointment in the movie, apart from the meadow scene is THAT house. im really hoping they change it cause its going to turn into a very important place in the story. i think jacob's house was perfect, they need to find a good house for the cullen's as well!!

Yay I'm glad they have pictures of something... AND COME ON PEOPLE, DO WE NEED TO BE THAT PICKY? A harley sprint? who gives a darn. In twilight rosalie was driving around a mercedes instead of a bmw. It doesnt matter. They need to perfect the characters not something as little as that.
  • Chris10
I'm not 100% sure of her plan but I know she makes a few stops and then ends in Dublin. She came to Forks with me so I'm sure she'll notice the similarities. I can't wait to see her pictures when she gets back. Sounds like a killer honeymoon!

I have read all 4 books 5 times now and I have watched Twilight 8 times. It is a good movie mainly because of Rob Pattinson. I really think he makes a GREAT Edward, but CH did not show us the passion, love and romance between Bella and Edward the way that SM did in her books. You never once heard "I love you" and they only kissed one time (well twice if counting the prom scene). Edward and Bella's passion is what made the book so amazing. I was very dissapointed with the hospital scene at the end, and for that matter the first one after the car accident was not as good as the book version. The meadow scence was a dissapointment also, again the passion was missing. To me the best part of the meadow scene was when they held each other, and that was when he should have ran with her on his back and when he should have kissed her. It seemed to me that CH was only concerned with the action of the film and not the romance. Just my option....

mmhh...i never think that those bike is so big for bella and jacob ride on it. i mean all i can think is from stephanie meyer describe it's more smaller, i wonder if kristen doing her stunt to ride that bike?? it's freaky, i guess.
and how i miss bella truck, it's there and i think taylor and kristen also start shooting with robert apparently since he was throw himself into the shadows and bella imaginary sounds, wow,.....can't wait to see other pic's from the set of new moon.

  • I am with you. I hope Catherine never directs another movie. She did such an awful job. I have a feeling Chris is learning from her mistakes. I have to wonder if he has seen this website? Lol
  • I'm not sure the truck from the first one was the right model or year or something like that. My guy friends were discussing the vehicle discrepancies from book to movie but I was distracted by the movie which they were watching with me for the forth time that night/morning, lol.
  • jmc
Ahhhg it looks so cool. :D The bikes are PERFECT. And I agree with you entirely TwilightMom. I think they did an ok job with the movie, I mean, it was the first installment of the series so there were bound to be mistakes, but I feel CH didn't focus on the dynamics of the relationship, so I'm concerned about the fan interpretation (those who didn't read the books) of the upcoming break up scene in new moon. And thank you to those who are taking the pictures and to those who are posting them on this site!

ya and edwards room was so small too! how is the huge bed that edward got for bella in eclipse gonna fit in there without it looking so awkard. I always pictured the house looking a lil bit like the white house, its only modern inside.
  • regi
yes! i noticed that too! edward is not driving the correct volvo and rosalies car was dif too. i didnt think it was that big of a deal tho, everything else was way worse.
  • yea xD i kinda pictured it like the white house too. and they didnt even did the scene where edward was in carlisle office and explained about the volturi....i dont even think that house has an office -_-
  • tweter76
That is actually one of our favorite parts because it helps show how much she really dislikes Bella and Carlisle trying to keep the peace.

  • nomesters
The meadow scene...god. I just don't get why they changed it so much. Also, why couldn't they have added some dialogue? To the part where Edward and Bella are just lying on the grass looking at each other, they could have added some dialogue and stuff.
  • Brittney
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the film left alot to be desired. I still bought it and watched it, though, because I'm obsessed like that. ;) The good news is that with a new director and higher budget, it can only go up from here. I'm exited....maybe Chris is reading our posts.:P

Why are there two dirt bikes? There's supose to be one dirt bike and one very old harley!
Are they going to mess this one up like they did the last???
  • tweter76
Ok . . . everyone is freaking out about the Harley, but I wonder if they've thought of the possibility that one will be a stunt bike and one will be the Bella bike? I mean, just because they are both in the back of the truck now doesn't really mean much. It is flipping hilarious how people are jumping to conclusions. Sure the cars and motorcycles are important but I want to see them get the STORY right . . . something they didn't do in the first movie. Everyone really should chill . . .

  • tamtam
    I totally agree with Twilightmom.
To me all of the Best scenes were either left out completely, change beyond recognition or taken out of context and just randomly thrown in. They spent way too much time on the 'Bad Vamps' and characters that were totally in the mind of the screen writer, when they could have taken the scenes from the book and used them instead. I thought the dialogue in the book was absolutely perfect, and yet you only get a sentence or two tossed in here and there for the fans to recognize.
Since Bella and Edward's passionate romance play such a big roll in this second story, I'm really hoping they find a way to make up for what was completely lost in the first movie.

I'm reading the books again for the 26th time- I'm total addicted! Please don't disappoint us again!!

YAY!! i am sooo going to buy twilight wen its out in britain! 6th april... me nd my mate are hooked and we're gonna watch it so many times... please dont tell me any of the bonus bits, i wanna see them 4 myself. yep, it totally agree wid what everyonesw said so far, catherine really messed the movie up. i was nearly crying because she left out the meadow scene :( and that RANDOM school trip, wtf!!! **sigh** im calm.. hehe "spidermonkey" like he would say that!! carlisle is such a nice father figure, id love to have him 4 my dad. anyone else agree? lol.x woooop!
  • Azlady
Okay I went and watched Twilight without intending to read the book, I wanted to watch it because it had a vampire and I have been obess with supernatural and vampires like since i was 5. So anyhow the movie was good but left me with a lot of questions so I had to read the book. Then I re watched the movie I hated that Carlisle changed Esme in a hospital bed when in the book he changed her when she was in the moruge and everyone thought she was dead but she was barely alive.
  • Edwardlover!!!
Do you guys ever stop moaning. there is nothing wrong with the cullen house in twilight its fab and its almost impossible for them to make everything the same as the book as whats in the book was what was in stephanies head and in real life they producers might not have been able to find a house that looked like that. And they shouldnt change it because that will then make the film seem unbelieveable because they start changing major things. For buget reasons everything cannot be the same, and it has the interpretation of the director in it aswell. They have done a fantastic job in making the film, stephanie likes it so please stop moaning!!!!!!!
  • Edwardlover!!!
im reading all the comments here and seriously guys all you do is moan about the film! They cant put in all the scenes coz they have a time limit for the film to be. I loved the film and have read all the books. You dont give them any credit at all. All you do is see faults that arnt there and dont focus on the greatness of the film. These people put lots of effort and time and money in that film and all you do is moan about, if thats how you are i dont consider you proper fans. I know thats blunt but thats what i think. You commets actually make me angry and i know my m8s all agree with me!!

they messed up twilight completely. the house was wrong. characters were wrong. rosalie was supposed to be gorgeous and i dont really think she was... alices hair was wrong and rob pattinson isnt even hot! the house, as stated, was a complete disaster. and they coulda done alot better making it the same. they shoulda kept the blood type seen. it was better than that stupid field trip to the "green house" thing. wrong wrong wrong!
  • kortneenikole
okay, twilight wasnt all catherines fault! melissa r. is the one who wrote the book into a screenplay. blame her!
and what i was most upset about was that there was no "Be Safe". that was by far my favorite part in the books.
i agree that they made edward look like a stalker in the movie.
