thats what i was thinking! the poster is undoubtably my fave nm poster EVER. i especially love the way the mini edward (on the clock tower) and the mini bella (cliff-diving up top) are situated.. like bella is flinging herself to edward, and edward is waiting for her.

my previous comment was not only intended for Robert, it goes to all the cast. however, since Robert is the one plastered all over gossips, and his reputation is pretty much getting dragged down the mud that is why i focused on him. you are right LautnerCrazed11 Robert isn't the only one getting stalked, i apologize.

i am saying being hopeful to have a moment or a glimpse of any of the stars is bad, it is how some are going about that that makes it wrong. i mean summit had to hire the frickin mounties to protect and keep the cast and crew safe and their privacy intact, the FRICKIN MOUNTIES!!!!! their job is to catch bad guys, solve crime their priority is something bigger that playing security to a movie set and stars. i live in surrey and it is easy for me to go around and find the locations, but my word, i am proud to be from the Lower Mainland, however the hysteria over all this the length that is being taken to secure it is absurdly ridiculous. the FRickin Mounties!!

I totally agree with you on this. Having obsessive fans does unfortunately come with being a big celeb, but they do deserve to lead as normal lives as possible. I'd love to have an encounter with Rob and Kristen, but to disrupt their lives, no thanks.

any and all movies get fans attention and desire to seek out their fave stars.... Vancouver is not new to this whole "movie" scene.... but with the HUGE success of Twilight, it has def. been taken up a notch and even though I am 28 years old, a teacher, a mother, a wife... I will still read these blogs and comments and if I have time go see if I can catch a glimpse of a star...

I live near one of the sets and I went and snapped a few photos, they wer enot filming, so no stars, but I will go back again if I hear they are filming, I will hope to cross paths with one of the stars, ask them for a photo...

it's funny that people all over the world who don't live in Vancouver are going crazy over pics of the new moon set and complaining that they haven't seen many pics of rob but when the vancouver people actually do go out and take pics...it then becomes this thing that the vancouver people are forcing chris weltz to spend more money on security then the actual movie! people really need to figure out what they want...either pics of the set and shut up about the vancouver people being stalkers or else we will leave the cast alone but don't complain when you don't see any pics up until november!

alright ladies i love Edward as well, and a big fan of Robert. but Robert, Edward two separate entities, one is a real person, the other a fictional character brought to life by the other. how would any of you feel if u are living his life that is turning into a night mare ?

he no longer has any privacy, has to hide most of the time, needs people to keep others away from him, summit hired the mounties for crying out loud!!!!! the bloody mounties are neede on the streets. mounties have a lot of bad guys to put away, they should have to protect one man from thousands of screaming fans, they have better things to do.

i heard a long time ago from many stars how they love Vancouver coz people leave them alone, and they are treated like normal people. let us give the stars of the twilight saga this. Prince Charles and Prince William also said this when they visited Vancouver way back then. pls. let us give Robert pattinson the privacy he needs, the respect, and the freedom to walk around go out enjoy a night out in the town, and the ability to live a decent life. not hounded across town like an animal for sport.

if he gets sick of this treatment he is getting like a piece of meat being fought over by hungry rabid dogs he might think this is not for him and leave acting. we will be the ones to suffer then we wont be able see anymore movies with him in it.

Robert, in case you read these comments, i apologize for how this has affected your day to day life. u are a celebrity, paparazzi/stalkerazzi is one one the things you'll have to deal with. but this info does not excuse how things are for you. especially all the gossip and garbage being spread about you. at the end of the day, like a normal person you just wanna kick off your shoes relax and just be you not what everyone expects/wants you to be. hopefully you know that not all your fans are Robsessed over you.

oh gosh thank you..it was long but worth reading..you should put some stuff in there about taylor two.hes also getting the worst of it..no affence girls but the men really are the ones having to hide out.

I'm a little worried about the atmosphere of this movie. How can the cast really get into their roles while worrying about people stalking the locations. I would think that would be a little stressful and very difficult to really get into their roles. I really pray all of this doesn't affect the movie at all, but it's still a little disconcerting. I'm guilty also by getting on this website to check for updates but mostly for official updates on casting and stuff like that. I really wish fans would respect the process if they really want a good movie.

that's what i got from reading the series over and over again.

I wonder if the stalkerazzi realize that all of this beefed up security is not for free. Summit is cutting into the budget in order to keep these people away which means less budget for the actual movie. Don't complain when Edward's sparkles look cheesy again. Just saying.

Nooooo Kidding. You'd think that crazed fans would get the hint - I wouldn't want to be the beefy guy that gets pummeled by a zillion teenage girls. I'd be charging top dollar - and that top dollar should be going towards the movie. And then Chris Wietz has to deal with the critics complaining about the special effects. Which he could have dealt with, if there weren't so many paps/stalkerazzi.

LOVE the poster, really looks like the real thing. The people at Summit and the director should definitely look over these fan posters to get great ideas!

What this makes me think:

I understand why we're all so eager to get a piece of the twilight cake, but seriously guys, what do you thinks going to happen if you get to sneak a peak? Even if you can get close enough you're most likely going to look like an idiot being escorted away by some big beefy guy.

But also on the other hand:

F--K what i think, if i lived close enough - i'm pretty sure i'd skip like a aweek of school, fake an illness maybe - and do what i could to get in on the New Moon action.

It just sucks that we have to wait until NOVEMBER. but i can guarantee you - it's going to be worth the wait.
