I can completely understand Kristen's comments. Even if they were taken out of context they do hold some merit.
Imagine being watched over your shoulder, obsessively might I add, while you work. Imagine thousands of people screaming in your face, evil glares because you did your job by kissing an actor (ie Rob), and then situations like the fans creating Bella's womb.
I would be a little nervous too.
And Kristen didn't exactly call the FANS psychotic, she called the SITUATIONS psychotic. Again, thousands of people screaming in my face, it would scare me too. And she has been in interviews saying she loves the fans and that she is just as obsessed with Twilight. Maybe we should cut her a little break and try to understand. The actors are under a TON of pressure with the movies. They are either not good enough for the fans because their hair isn't the perfect shade of blond or they are borderline stalked.

On another note, I don't believe now nor did I ever believe that she was speaking about all Twilight Saga fans as a whole, but from her POV she's had to deal with alot of strange things really fast without much time to adjust. She's a human being, just because she signed up for a role that has this amazing fan base doesn't make the 24/7 attention any easier to deal with. I bet not one of use here knows what that's really like since none of us has ever starred in a movie and became the center of attention for the whole world virtually over night.

Like I said before - I didn't like how Kristen portrayed Bella in Twilight but I don't think it was all her fault. I mean, the director is very much responsible for getting the actors to "become" their characters. That said, there is NO REASON for people to be so rude and hateful about this. Also, I think Chris will do a much better job staying true to the book and getting both Rob and Kristen to play their parts bettter. I mean seriously, why isn't anyone hating on Rob for how poorly he acted Edward in parts of Twilight? I have to laugh a little everytime I watch it (I own a copy of the movie on DVD already). He can use just as much improvement in playing his part as she can. That said, New Moon is a different book . . . a different movie. All of the actors have the chance to expand on their characters and do better this time around. I think the girls (and when I say girls, I mean little girls) on this site in particular are just fanatical about Rob the guy not necessarily about Stephenie's character, Edward, and over look the poor acting in the movie because he's "Rob."

I have actually been looking for a way to report her but am coming up trumps! She has it out for me to but, she left a comment for me the other day saying we should all be grateful to Kristen for hand picking Rob (she was trying to be sarcastic) and I was like yeah she did had pick him and she auditioned with him on Catherine Hardwicks bed! That shut her the hell up! On another note, I don't believe now nor did I ever believe that she was speaking about all Twilight Saga fans as a whole, but from her POV she's had to deal with alot of strange things really fast without much time to adjust. She's a human being, just because she signed up for a role that has this amazing fan base doesn't make the 24/7 attention any easier to deal with. I think Kristen did a great job protraying Bella, I also think that New Moon will be a better film, there is a bigger budget, better director, and a better script (even the cast have said this)



As for the msn interview everyone involved in that interview has said it was blown way out off context as with everything else she has said. The media tend to fabricate everything and twist one persons words to men a million other things. Famous people do not have a life except when they are in the privacy off their own homes, and even then they are always trying to get papped! Kristen is down to earth and speaks with honesty, what would she rather be, fake sugar-plum-sterotypical-Hollywood??? Seriously all the haters need to back the hell off and grow up. If you want info on her fan comments (i.e. "retarded", etc.) you can go to http://movies.msn.com/movies/hitlist/11-11-08. It's pretty interesting stuff. Also, in Edward's words "you can google it". Kristen's lousy attitude towards Twilight fans is pretty well documented.

Don't get me wrong, I strongly agree that some fans can come across as VERY creepy and this sudden rocket to stardom for Kristen and Rob is a lot to deal with at their young ages. However, Rob, Taylor and the rest of the Twilight cast react to all this adulation with grace and genuine gratitude. I feel that they truly appreciate their fan base and they all seem to have a really good sense of humor about it too. I'm sure they've heard and seen it all!

As for Kristen, not so much. Unfortunately, I've seen too much arrogance and rudeness on her part. I thought that even when she played Bella in Twilight, she came off as awkward and just plain irritable at times. Not at all like the Bella I imagined when I read the book.

I am pretty much just going to copy and paste what I wrote from another section minus a couple lines.

To each their own. I agree with people both expressing and defending their opinions.
Some people do not like Kristen and that is their opinion and I will not argue with that, everyone has one. What I am saying is you can have your opinion about people all you want. I do. But try to do it in a respectful manner. I am sure that Kristen Stewart does not read this, but if someone said these rude things about you, not even knowing you, it would hurt you. No matter who you are no one likes to be bashed. There is a difference between expressing your opinions and bashing someone. You can say that you do not like the way that she acts and what you think is wrong with her acting, thing about her career. There is no reason for talking about her as a person. All this is rather lame...the extreme loathing and the extreme adoration. Neither are called for. Kristen's "cheery" attitude has proven if anything, that she seems not to care if you hate her with every fiber or about to fall on your knees and worship her. I find the adoration a tad more creepy, nothing like hero-worship. I don't either love her or really hate her, frankly she's not worth the effort or time to worship or hate. The reason i say this is because i have read many of her interviews, including the nylon one, and all i can say is that she is just a very misunderstood girl. She has so many thoughts going on at once that i just dont think she ever answers something completely or how she wants to. She just doesn't fit into the mold that hollywood expects (and i like that she doesn't) and interviewers expect, so they blow everything out of proportion. All i care about is that i know she cares about the story. that's all i ask. oh and that she's not mean to the fans.. intentionally :)

I honestly don't understand the big deal. I'm as big a fan of the books as well as the first movie but come on....some of the fans are freaking psycho and delusional. Has everyone forgotten that these are movies and not real life. I think Kristen has a point whether it was taken out of context or not when either the fans or the stupid interviewers ask stupid questions like "How does it feel to kiss a vampire", I even heard one to Dakota Fanning whether or no she would be able to handle/control herself around Robert Pattinson. Come on...these people are professionals. Lets not forget that. Enjoy the books and movies for what they are. A great escape from reality but please don't lose your grip on it.

Don't get me wrong, I strongly agree that some fans can come across as VERY creepy and this sudden rocket to stardom for Kristen and Rob is a lot to deal with at their young ages. However, Rob, Taylor and the rest of the Twilight cast react to all this adulation with grace and genuine gratitude. I feel that they truly appreciate their fan base and they all seem to have a really good sense of humor about it too. I'm sure they've heard and seen it all!



As for Kristen, not so much. Unfortunately, I've seen too much arrogance and rudeness on her part. I thought that even when she played Bella in Twilight, she came off as awkward and just plain irritable at times. Not at all like the Bella I imagined when I read the book.



Who knows? Maybe all this negative backlash has given her a little wakey, wakey. The quickest way to lose fans is to dump all over them.

Some people do not like Kristen and that is their opinion and I will not argue with that, everyone has one. What I am saying is you can have your opinion about people all you want. I do. But try to do it in a respectful manner. I am sure that Kristen Stewart does not read this, but if someone said these rude things about you, not even knowing you, it would hurt you. No matter who you are no one likes to be bashed. There is a difference between expressing your opinions and bashing someone. You can say that you do not like the way that she acts and what you think is wrong with her acting, thing about her career. There is no reason for talking about her as a person. For example does it matter what color her hair is or sunglasses are or if she looked horrible at the grocery store? No. That has nothing to do with her being an actress or even playing Bella.

All this is rather lame...the extreme loathing and the extreme adoration. Neither are called for. Kristen's "cheery" attitude has proven if anything, that she seems not to care if you hate her with every fiber or about to fall on your knees and worship her. I find the adoration a tad more creepy, nothing like hero-worship. I don't either love her or really hate her, frankly she's not worth the effort or time to worship or hate. She's an actress, one of millions out there that may or may not have a future ahead of her. I do think her skills are somewhat over-rated, of all the performances in the movie, her's lacked the most. Honestly I hope she does support her role in twilight saga, cause after all if you don't believe in the role, you just suck as an actor. Thats the whole point of acting, becoming something else. The reason i say this is because i have read many of her interviews, including the nylon one, and all i can say is that she is just a very misunderstood girl. She has so many thoughts going on at once that i just dont think she ever answers something completely or how she wants to. She just doesn't fit into the mold that hollywood expects (and i like that she doesn't) and interviewers expect, so they blow everything out of proportion. All i care about is that i know she cares about the story. that's all i ask. oh and that she's not mean to the fans.. intentionally :)

I honestly don't understand the big deal. I'm as big a fan of the books as well as the first movie but come on....some of the fans are freaking psycho and delusional. Has everyone forgotten that these are movies and not real life. I think Kristen has a point whether it was taken out of context or not when either the fans or the stupid interviewers ask stupid questions like "How does it feel to kiss a vampire", I even heard one to Dakota Fanning whether or no she would be able to handle/control herself around Robert Pattinson. Come on...these people are professionals. Lets not forget that. Enjoy the books and movies for what they are. A great escape from reality but please don't lose your grip on it.

Honestly I hope she does support her role in twilight saga, cause after all if you don't believe in the role, you just suck as an actor. Thats the whole point of acting, becoming something else. Really, I don't know what to think.

I really dont care if she's faking it. All I ask is that when she's promoting Twilight she shows the same enthusiasm as when she talks about her other upcoming roles, smile with and at the fans, and watch her words when she talks to the public. Practice this, and she'll be fine...Also, tell her dad to keep his thoughts to himself.
