I completed this as a final paper, and as dreaded as it was for me in the beginning, I actually took an interest in his artwork and enjoyed learning a great deal about him. My appreciation is that art was his passion. He tried to portray this to the world not only through his paintings but with they way he lived his life, regardless of circumstances.
