Noot Seear Heidi New Moon Volturi According to Marc Malkin at E! Online, Noot Seear has been cast as Heidi in the New Moon movie.

I can exclusively reveal that Canadian supermodel Noot Seear has won the coveted role of the beautiful human bait in the Twilight sequel.

Heidi is described in Stephenie Meyer’s novel as a “fisher” who brings humans to the Volturi vampires to eat. She has “exceptional, unforgettable” beauty, which includes stunning legs, long hair and violet eyes.

The 25-year-old dark blond stunner hails from Vancouver, Canada. (Yup, that’s where director Chris Weitz just started shooting New Moon). She’s 5 feet 9 inches tall and has blue eyes, according to her agency, One Model Management. Her measurements? 34-24-34.

    Her real name is apparently Renata...and this is kind of a bad pic of her...she is really quite lovely. I think she will do a great job...I always imagined Heidi coming in with that badass runway walk in those tight clothes, so it makes sense to me to cast a supermodel.

    Guys, think about it... the budget for this movie still isn't huge, and AnnaLynne probably came with a pretty big price tag.... not worth it for MAYBE 20 seconds of screen time... no lines... just literally walks into the building. I think it was a smart decision.

    I think she is probably a good choice? I mean, like they said, she doesn't need to act all that much, just look pretty. I am just happy they aren't cutting Heidi out, it means the scene with the Volturi is probably staying pretty close to the book.

    Yeah, I was pretty grossed out every time i saw Heidi. Eew. She was overrated, in my opinion. And it didn't even look like she matched the description of Heidi. This Noot Sear person looks like she would be a better fit. (I guess I should expect that tomorrow it will say she has not been offered the role, that seems to happen a lot)

    Well, something people seem to forget is that unless it comes from Summit, nothing is set in stone. I just think it's funny that people are having fits over a character who really is inconsequential to the whole of the movie...and on top of that, they don't even know how she is described in the book.

    I try not to get too worked up over these things unless i really hear it as official news, but that doesn't always work. First of all, her part is tiny tiny tiny, and I will be much more entranced with Edward coming back then watching Heidi. Second, tomorrow the site will probably say that Noot Sear was confronted and she denied the rumors that she has been approached for the part.

    Seear's manager could not confirm the casting, but tells me, "She has auditioned and is in consideration with the studio for the role."

    I can't make much of an assumption with AnnaLynne. I don't watch 90210 and I haven't seen her in anything else... I know she's had work, I just have never seen it and therefore can't judge.
    However...
    Am I the only one that notices that no one would give a rat's backside about the role of Heidi if AnnaLynne hadn't been mentioned as hoping for the role? I find it hard to believe that anyone, even hardcore fans, would really care much about a character that's onscreen for a grand total of maybe five minutes (MAX!) if someone quasi-famous hadn't been looking at it.

    I couldnt give a flyin monkies who plays her, I would much prefer an extra just take the role than have a named actress who is just going to take another chunk off the budget! Spend it on something important and just hire a beautiful unknown girl for the role!

    Why everyone is getting so worked up is beyond me.

I went to look at her myspace again (since it was all decked out with New Moon/Twilight stuff and found all references to the movies GONE. What a shame if she didn't get the role, she is absolutely beautiful and I thought she looked perfect for the part of Emily.

    No! I am a male, and I can say right now. If I saw her next to someone like Annalynne, I would follow Annalynne to my death way before her. I mean she isnt ugly but compared to Annalynne to looks just average. Meyer describes her as putting Rosalie to Justice on looks, this one does squat for me.

    DO ANY OF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT??? Before you start slamming someone you might at least want to have your facts straight:

    Heidi is described in New Moon as: "Gorgeous and statuesque with long, lustrous MAHAGONY hair and amazingly long legs. Her eyes appear as if she wears blue contacts over her red eyes. (chpt 21)

    Furthermore, who cares if she isn't "know" in Hollywood? She has all of one or 2 lines in the book . . . slap some make-up on this girl and put her in a mini-skirt and it's Heidi . . . OMG! In the meantime, they might actually save a little money by not casting someone who is kinda overrated to begin with.
  • I think a major part of the problem people are having is that in that specific picture she doesn't look that pretty, should probably put on a bra, and smile. The way she is standing looks painful not beautiful. Also if she is a "super model" I would think she'd wear something more flattering. That dress and those shoes just don't do anything for her. Sure they are tight but there is a difference between wearing tight clothing and wearing properly fitting, flattering clothing. I am willing to give her a chance as Heidi though since she won't be dressing herself, lol. I say good luck to her. I am more interested in the rest of the Volturi anyway.

    Many actors (including the Twilight actors) and/or supermodels don't come across as amazingly beautiful all of the time. Whether the general public likes it or not, they are only human. Sure, it's not the best picture in the world of her but did SHE chose for that specific one to be published with this story...doubtful. My point is that everyone is getting all worked up over something that is truly trival when it comes to the "big picture" (pardon the pun). I mean geez, Ashley and Nikki neither one look like their characters publicly. That is what hair and make-up are for. It's cool that the casting director is sticking to the "tradition" of the first film and giving some of the rolls to lesser know people.

If they did I'd melt every time someone got a picture of Jackson (Jasper) or Taylor (Jacob) or Rob (Edward) or... well you get the idea. <3 It would be pleasant but a little inconvenient , lol.   • You guys Heidi will be in the movie for a total of 2 minutes. Based on the description in the book Miss Seear fits Heidi to a T. Plus the beauty of Twilight was the actors/actresses were NOT well known.

    How about we give her a chance instead of instantly slamming her?

    Sheesh the actors really do not need to worry about film critics since WE FANS are already eating them alive for blinking in the wrong direction.

  • I agree. I bet we do not know who is cast for the Volturi until Italy. I would love to know because the suspense is killing me. They are doing a very good job keeping the cast hidden. I haven't found so much as a rumor yet.

    I think she's just a pretty as AnnaLynne, just in a different (more delicate...?) way. She's can be a fisher just fine. Besides, Heidi is on screen maybe 2... 3 minutes? We don't need a "big star" to play her. Have we all forgotten that few of our beloved Twilight actors weren't exactly household names?
    And, just to cover all of my bases, with the hoopla AnnaLynne had surrounding the role, she probably just couldn't get her schedule to work with the shooting of the scene in Italy. It happens... Deal.
    Now, can we all go to wondering about characters with more than a nanobyte of importance... Like Aro, Caius, or Marcus?

  • Hugh Laurie could be brilliant for Marcus! He could pull off the bored look, yet inject a hint of humor into it. He is brilliant on the show House. Neil Patrick Harris is an interesting choice for Aro, but I'm not sure if I can see him pulling off the arrogance of Aro. I sorta like the idea of Ben Barnes.

    Now, I dont know if I'm the only one who had this reaction when I saw Noot and read this article.....but, is anyone else wondering if Rob is going to find her attractive????? I don't like it!!!!

    Now, don't get me wrong......I'm fine with him having a relationship with someone (for example, Kristen Stewart, Natalie Portman, Hayley Williams......etc.) But for some reason, I see some of these women and I don't think he should be with them. And Noot, is one of them. I have nothing against her, she might be a great person. It's just the feeling I got when I read this...and I just wanted to share it with you guys!

    No, I don't think that's corny at all. What I like about Natalie Portman is that she seems like she has her shit together. Plus she's not one of the actresses that is a fame whore.....you know, like Paris Hilton! She's very low key.

    Thanks for not thinking im corny. I agree that she is not a piece of sh#!t like paris hilton or any other fame whores for that matter, but there is just something about her I don't like. I love Ashley too, I've never had a girl crush before (weird right, even for me). I don't think your a dork these actors are amazing and love their fans. I too think Jackson and Ashley should be together, here hoping for the future. Rob is attrative and very relatable so its easy to feel for him, even if your just being protective.

    Of course she's not ugly or something. She is quite attractive but she's got very usual appearance..nothing special. A girl like her could live in a block next to yours... I don't believe she is attractive enough to get crowds of people enchanted by her to take them to Volturi. I hope she will look better after getting some make-up..but anyway AnnaLynne would be a great match. She's got something that Noot doesn't have. She is sort of more striking and outstanding...
    In any case I am sure the movie isn't going to be less incredible because of her. Actually, she doesn't play a dominant role, so let's not to be dissapointed. I am sure Chris Weitz knows exactly what he is doing and he will do his best not to let us down)
