Peter Facinelli Signs Autographs for 16 Hours Straight for Soldiers

peter facinelli fort lewis As if we needed yet another reason to adore him, Peter Facinelli went above and beyond the call of duty during his recent autograph session at Fort Lewis–

Originally schedule to last just two hours Saturday afternoon, Facinelli’s visit to the PX finally wrapped up at 2 a.m. Sunday morning, some 16 and a half hours after it started. The appearance at the exchange capped off a whirlwind three day tour of Ft. Lewis that had Facinelli meeting troops from the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, talking with more than 100 military children at a local prep school and taking part in a question and answer session with some 1,000 fans at a free screening of the Twilight movie Friday night.

    As an Army wife, I have to say I think this is awesome that he did that. Very few actors/actresses in Hollywood like to do much other than rant about the war that we're involved in and indirectly place the blame on the soldiers. I think it's great that he has a big heart like that and appreciates service.

    He is soooo nice! I was one of the lucky few who got to meet him and get his autograph. I stood in line for 11 hours to meet him! It was amazing. I'm pretty sure he was really really really tired but he kept signing until he met everyone in line. I highly doubt Rpattz or Taylor Lautner would do that! Go Peter! We loveee you!
