Im sorry , no offense meant, this is a movie and not a book anymore, its too different mediums and when Bella only hears from her point of view and Edward not being shown as saying it to her, kind of worried the movie will suck, very boring! maybe 1 or two scenes that she will just hear the voice but the rest should show Edward as flittering image saying something,that is the reason why New Moon is the least fave book of the saga coz Edward is not there, and the movie will be the same as well? gosh , Chris Weitz should know better, he's the director. I agree with Geneva, they should show the part how Edward dealt with the pain of losing Bella as well, though its not in the book, i think its very important that we were able to understand how deep their love for each other and we will realize it when we saw their pain after breaking up! This is gonna be good acting for Rob and Kristen, I dont mind Mr. Weits adding a few scenes of this kind, spices up the movie. And Rob's fans will be thrilled like I do.Thanks

I personally think that it's great about Rob and all, but I also have an healthy respect for the characters that don't get as much as attention. I honestly don't get people saying that Taylor is an attention-seeker- he seems like any normal person to me. Jacob's a great character, no matter who he ends up with. I will not be denied my right to drool over whomever I please XD My opinion and all that jazz. To each their own.

Taylor is completely different than Rob. Rob never ever lapped up the attention, Taylor does. He has muscles, so what? Thats all there is too him. Half of Hollywood has muscles. Rob has something more - he has pure sex appeal. He is deep, thoughtful, soulful, musically talented - there's something so complicated about him. I think Rob will go far in this industry. At the end of it all, it matters not. Bella chooses Edward over Jacob, marries him and Jacob ends up with their child. Heck Bella drops everything in New Moon to run after Edward, so really no matter what Rob will always be the centre of all this.

Now you know how some of us felt about Robert Pattinson. Do you remember how hard they promoted him? You said yourself 'he seems like a good enough guy', but can you honestly say that if you went from being as you are now to a total teen star that you wouldn't be a little awestruck? And as for not handling the attention well, I think he seems to be doing extremely well for someone of 17- I know people that age who would be probably the biggest stuck up jerks on the face of the planet if they were worshipped as he is.

As a fan I truly would be happy with a longer film as long as it stayed true to the overall feel of the book and storyline, but to market a movie and it be successful to a wider range of people it needs to be in the 2 hour range

I really really hope they don't do an immediate breakup, it HAS to be clear that Edward thought through the decision. Really, like I know the pace of the movie has to go forward, but sorry, that just needs to be in there. Otherwise the decision is made way too fast, and it doesn't make sense.

After reading I didn't even think about Edward leaving right after the infamous birthday. And of course once I thought about that I was pissed. But now it makes sense for me. I imagine him taking her for a walk after driving her home and leaving in the woods. Then getting back to her house, hiding things and then (my favourite part) sitting in his car screaming and gripping his head in pain. At the same time they should show Bella lying in the woods, tears flowing, but 'catatonic'. This would make such a nice contrast.

I wonder if Kristin is going to be able to portray the love and lost Bella feels for and about Edward, and Rob, I hope he’ll have enough time to show us how tough this was for him that he is leaving her, because he feels he has to in order to keep her safe. If we don’t feel like they are soul mates that will ruin the whole thing. We have to believe she is so in love and can’t live without him that she would drop everything to run off to save the love of her life, or it won’t make sense. As far as Taylor is concerned, well, I’ve seen so many muscles, people are acting like they’ve never saw one. I mean come on; he’s cute, but really. I think that maybe the person doing the interview thought she was saying it this way, but there was probably supposed to be a comma between at the party and when he's saying goodbye to her. She's listing the parts that he will be there in. I definitely think that they will stay true to the books as far as how he says goodbye. Bella has to believe that Edward really doesn't want to be with her anymore when he leaves, so it won't be at the party. If he took her home from the party and left her that night, there's no way she would believe it was anything other than him being upset about what happened at the party with Jasper. They may go through the distancing process pretty fast, but I do think they will stay true to the book.

It is just you lol. No offense but in like every interview whenever they talk about him they always say nice things about him. They all say everyone wants to talk about how hot he is not about how talented he is and that makes them mad. You can read the interviews. I think the cast wants people to see him more than just as a pretty face. Or so it seems that way from the interviews... But regardless they all speak very very well and friendly of him.

I have the utmost faith in Chris and that the movie is going to be done really well. I am happy that Edward will be floating around in scenes too. I pictured his face when I read specific parts in the book oncve he left Bella. Oh and that scene will be crushing! I agree with all who posted on that one...

if they do change it then yes it will be sad but some things are gonna have to be condensed and left out for the film to pace properly. otherwise it will all have to go at a hundred miles per hour!... there are so so many scenes in the book its just not possible and some scenes WILL have to be spliced together so unfortunately him leaving might just have to be very close to what happens at the party. i understand that might make for a better film experience. if we want to see lots of other scenes important towards the end of the story then some stuff (especially the beginning stuff) will HAVE to be removed or scenes spliced into each other! do we really want the pace of it for example to go up when the party happens and then for it to slow to a grind again for a few days of edward deciding to leave? it makes a great book but would that be good for a movie? because i for one could do without seeing a few days of them at school afterwards and then seeing him leave. the impact of it and the drama would just be lost. no build-up. just ... thinking about it and then telling her he is leaving... i love how its done in the book but we have to rememeber things that work so well in books sometimes dont work for pacing reasons in a movie!

It is just you lol. No offense but in like every interview whenever they talk about him they always say nice things about him. They all say everyone wants to talk about how hot he is not about how talented he is and that makes them mad. You can read the interviews. I think the cast wants people to see him more than just as a pretty face. Or so it seems that way from the interviews... But regardless they all speak very very well and friendly of him.

I have the utmost faith in Chris and that the movie is going to be done really well. I am happy that Edward will be floating around in scenes too. I pictured his face when I read specific parts in the book oncve he left Bella. Oh and that scene will be crushing! I agree with all who posted on that one...

if they do change it then yes it will be sad but some things are gonna have to be condensed and left out for the film to pace properly. otherwise it will all have to go at a hundred miles per hour!... there are so so many scenes in the book its just not possible and some scenes WILL have to be spliced together so unfortunately him leaving might just have to be very close to what happens at the party. i understand that might make for a better film experience. if we want to see lots of other scenes important towards the end of the story then some stuff (especially the beginning stuff) will HAVE to be removed or scenes spliced into each other! do we really want the pace of it for example to go up when the party happens and then for it to slow to a grind again for a few days of edward deciding to leave? it makes a great book but would that be good for a movie? because i for one could do without seeing a few days of them at school afterwards and then seeing him leave. the impact of it and the drama would just be lost. no build-up. just ... thinking about it and then telling her he is leaving... i love how its done in the book but we have to rememeber things that work so well in books sometimes dont work for pacing reasons in a movie!
