NEw Moon Tentation France Twilight We’ve just received word that France and Belgium will be begin showing New Moon on November 18, 2009. In other words–sorry, New Zealanders, but you won’t be the first in the world to see New Moon like we believed initially.

France and Belgium will be viewing New Moon a full two days before the US! The French Twilight fansite Twilight France tracked down official confirmation from the distributor of the film in both countries–

    Yes!!! Finally some good news for us! We have to wait for the DVD till april and i can't find an american store that will ship the 3 disc special edition to Belgium! We probably will not have such nice dvdboxes as there will be in Canada and the US.

    oh please cathy don't complain about the dvd getting out in april. in germany we gotta wait till june! and new moon comes out in january here... but i think we have quite the best synchronization (i'll watch in english anyway but just want to mention it haha).
    does anybody know why they're getting it first?

    we 'll see it too in English, it's only in the french speaking part of Belgium they'll get a dubbed version, and i don't live there, in Brussels you can even choose which you want to see,
    so hahahaha

    And you Americans can't complain: you don't have wait for movies/DVDs months after everyone else gets them, plus you live in the same hemisphere as Forks/Stephenie Meyer, you get lotsa cool merchandise while we get... *drumroll* one poster of Edward and Bella, that costs alot!

    (That's just directed at the people who're saying it's soooooo unfair, they don't know the meaning of the word)

    Just crossing my fingers that it won't be moved backward...

    hi, i'm English, but i live in France, Stop Complaining, two days, what's the big deal? In France, all films open on Wednesdays, so pretty normal that we get the film on a Wednesday, why make us wait nearly a week after international opening ? we're already having to wait months for the DVD release here in July :(, yeah, here, have to wait at least 6 months between opening and getting to watch the DVD, supposed to force people to go to the cinema and not just wait for the DVD to come out..... I hate that, when i lived in England, three or four months wait never stopped me going to the cinema to watch a good film.
