All of this stuff is just too big of a coincidence for this NOT to be Jacob's house, now. Why would a whole crew of people show up three days before filming for New Moon starts and paint? Why would there be a VW Rabbit in front of said location, too? UmHmm…I wonder….

For some strange reason – even before I saw the pic on Smeyer's site – I imagined it to be white, and slightly upholstered on the inside, as well as roomier. And I believed it to be like almost leather seating or close to, especially if Jacob seemed upset that Mike would defile it.

Either way, it looks cool, and all this up and coming news definitely has me excited and anxious for the finished film. Plus I wouldn't mind snuggling up to Jake in that car. XD

I always pictured the car to be black…red is too feminine for a big guy. this is def the set…normal people don't put orange cones all over for repairs…and the volvo is not edwards…he doesn't have roof racks.I pictured the house to be first…and with trees and alittle slope down to the “shed”…and for the house to have a little farmers porch in the front cuz billy is always at the door on the porch…but this will do…I mean after all our beloved meadow was really a golf course in L.A… so they can pretty much do anything…this has been such an exciting week!!!

harder than you think.. Vancouver Airport is HUGE! i live here and ive gotten LOST in it….

plus we have natives living up here too… so ANYONE native could potentially be the wolf pack and who are we to know? we have many tribes in this area, all of whom fly…

i acually thought that his house was going to be a little smaller. in the book bella discribes the hallway about a yard long. well it looks old which is good. it fits the picture.wow is his car small or what! how are they going to fit a 6 foot teenager in that little thing? well im sure they willl think of something. I REALLY HOPR HE CONTINUES TO WORK OUT. HES LOOKIN REALLY H-O-T!!!!

Ok, while I understand the need to feel like we should be able to “control” what they are or are not doing on the set of this movie . . . everyone has to understand that it is just that . . . a movie! I guess that I kind of thought after Twilight, most fans agreed that the STORY was the important thing (not the color of a car or whether or not the house is a little bigger than imagined).

Everyone needs to remember that there will be camera crews and other people associated with making the movie shoved into the house as well. Visually, the car does look better black . . . up against the red house. I'm sure Chris has very good reasons for doing everything he's done thus far. I think it is looking great!

That's so sad, we sent letters offering up a beautiful Red Rabbit with Washington Plates early 80's style from our organization. And wouldn't have asked for any money for using it. Really that convertiable rabbit doesn't do it for me or the book I read. To bad the all the casting agents and production company we wrote to doesn't read their mail.

the car was not red in the second book, so i would calm yourselves. Since the color wasn't red till the third i would chill till the next filming. Then start having a panic attack over the car. I would be more confused why the house is a bit bigger then it should be and why the shed is in the wrong place with no trees in between the two. Any of you who think this needs to be just like the book then you are a horrible fan and should not watch any of the movies. Seems like most of you are like those annoying fan-girls that could only bitch about the first movie.

ummmm…in the book, jacob had a two story house that was beat up..not a one story…..

actually now i think about it i think the confusion on the colour was in twilight when jacob visted bella … he turned up in a BLACK car when edward was dropping bella off and he (jacob) was with billy and she asked him have you fixed your car ?? and she said Naw .. we borrowed that one (pointing his thumb out to the BLACK car outside)

does anyone know if they're using the same Volvo in new moon as they did in twilight? cuz they kinda got it wrong…Edward drives an S60 R and they used a C30 which is like a total “soccer mom” car! I really hope this director changes it 2 the right model!
