Taylor Lautner Can’t Date Until He is 28

Say wah!? In today’s WTF moment, Taylor Lautner has admitted that he is barred from dating until he turns 28–

“Twilight” actor Taylor Lautner openly admits that he is forbidden to date before he reaches 28 years old. To M magazine he reveals, “My dad says I can’t date until I’m 28. I’m definitely hoping to negotiate that one down.”

Still, Taylor expresses his gratitude for his father’s strict dating rule. “I realized that my parents were strict to make sure that I didn’t get a big head, and that’s a good thing,” he admits. “My parents brought me up to have respect and not take things for granted.”

Uh, weird. And I thought my curfew growing up was bad. Hopefully Taylor can negotiate something with his dad, else there are going to be a whole lot of dissapointed girls out there–and one very frustrated shapeshifter.

    But, i saw and heard him on an interview with Rob Pattinson on one of the daytime talk shows, and the host asked them both if they were dating anyone. Taylor said he dated different people. When Rob asked him, how he managed to do that (or something along those lines) Taylor replied that he is a teenager and he dates. Just for your info!

    I do agree but if you live under your parents house it there rules. Besides,how many 18 y.o can go out and live on there own these days, its expensive ? Taylor sure can his making so much dough. Besides, I'm 25 and agree with his parents serious relationships bring way too much drama and can hold one back. Taylor live your life and enjoy it! You have plenty of time :)

    I'm sure his parents feel the same way I feel....I tell my children they cannot look for serious relationships until their late 20's, because you really don't know who you are and what you want in life until you are getting close to 30....I'm sure that's what his parents mean.
