Hopefully by now everyone is safely at home with their Twilight DVDs and has a few replays in–I’ve been buddying up with the Blu-Ray edition from Target, and have collected some of the massive coverage from all over the place this weekend.

Later, as the Twilighters chanted down the minutes to midnight as if it were New Year’s Eve, Ashley appeared. They went nuts. She ducked inside the Hot Topic, jumped behind the counter, and started greeting the fans as they picked up their DVD. There were lots of hugs, shrieks, and tears of joy – but enough about me.

    I know! They are both so enthusiastic about it. I wish I could meet them!! I really like Kristen too, I think she is also really enthusiastic but just not as like upbeat as Rachel and Ashley. (But Kristen did look really happy in that Borders video from the set of New Moon)

    God could you imagine sitting around the dinner table with them at Peter's house having pasta (as she described in the video) it would be so surreal. She's so nice and down to earth!

    i got twilight at midnight when it came out too i really wish that one of the stars could have been actually IN washington.lol. i totally woulda went to go see them no matter which one.

    Oh man, could you imagine the screaming and mayhem if Kristen, Taylor, or Robert (especially him) showed up at one of those? I certainly would be afraid to show my face at something like that. Yikes.

  • I'm over 25 too, lol. At our Walmart release party there were fans of all ages, girls & guys & there weren't a ton of people there. (Our town usually closes down at 10pm, lol) I am a Twi-mom (even though my daughter is only 2) I even dressed up as Alice, wig & all. I don't look much like Ashley but it was still really fun!

    You guys are so lucky!!..I'm living in Portugal, there is no way we can have such a release party. And worse, we still have to wait another month for the release.

    I absolutely love the part of the dvd that is commented on by Robert, Kristen, and Catherine. Soooo funny. It must be so odd to see yourself in a movie at first. Althought they've been in others. If you haven't had the time to watch it, do so, it's great.

    I really think it is SO cool how much everyone that is in the movie is so into the story!!! I love Ashley Green so much she really looks like a cool person. The same goes for Rachel, I am really happy to see how much they enjoy being there for the fans!!!
    They did such a great job casting and I am really happy for all of them and the recognition they are getting, they all deserve it!!!
