Vancouver Sun Suggests Some New Moon Shooting Locales

The Vancouver Sun suggests shooting locations for the scenes of New Moon–showing just how versatile the city of Vancouver is:

Producers are revealing nothing of their plans for shooting the Twilight sequel New Moon. But they are here in Vancouver and they are shooting, under a fake name no less.
The reasons for the high security are obvious. Crowd control.
Reports that teenaged girls from all over North America are planning to travel to Vancouver for a mere glimpse of the production have been flowing in for many weeks.
The producers aren’t talking, but we aren’t hurt (well, maybe a little). But in the spirit of Canadian politeness and good business we’d like to offer the producers our suggestions for great backdrops for their bloody tale of chaste vampire love.

I can understand why they are keeping tight lipped about locations, I can only begin to imagine if the crowd found out the exact locations LMAO

yeah that would be completely insane if all the fans found out the exact locations, i only live 2 in half hours from Vancouver, BC so maybe when i go up i might run into them.... who knows!!

The crowd is one thing but I'm also concerned about the movie being kept quiet. I don't want to see the whole thing via fan video before the movie even comes out. I just know I have no self-control and I will watch whatever gets posted!! I would like the majority of the movie to be fresh the first time I watch it. We got to see a ton of Twilight before it came out but there was also alot that we didn't see.

I wish fans would control themselves....think about it. If you gave the crew and cast a difficult time it could affect how the movie turns out. What if they found the perfect local but couldn't use it because of crowd control, etc. I am just going to wait until the movie comes out.

I think what they need to do is find some people who are real native americans..... watching Taylor on screen was torture... being native american myself, I thought that he looks more hawaiian to me. I had read all of the books before seeing the movie, I imagined Jacob to look more like a real native. His dad in the movie sounded native american and looked the part. If people don't know real native americans have a particular twang to their voice, a sort of accent. Its easy to hear when you go to a reservation or are just around them. Not to mention Canadian native americans have more of that twang along with the "ain-it". LOL. I am hoping for New moon that they find some real natives to take on the wolf pack roles and at least some of it will be true to the movie.

since i come to this site for all of my new moon movie update i thought if you didn't know the answer maby you guys could find out for me!

since the shooting of new moon has started i want to see if they have said who was going to play Aro, Caius, and Marcus!

i main they are important to the saga after new moon!

and i haven't read or heard anything speaking about the cast list!

i know who bella,edward and the rest the cast from twilight are the same...and then i know who jane is........but that it!

and just hope you guys could help me!

i think that we should give them some space for them to make a good movie. i know that we ALL want to get a glimpse but its only going to make the prosess of shooting the movie that much slower.
but is their fault that fans have to go to such extremes. if they stopped with the secrecy already and tell us who the cast is maybe they could have a little less of a crowd while filmimg....or the complete opposite xD

but plz fans, dont give them a difficult time for the sake of the movie.!!!

I kinda like the whole secrecy thing they've got going on. I wanna know what's going on because I CAN'T wait to see the movie, but at the same time....I don't want to see it from a fan's cell phone or camcorder....lol. I do wanna see some awesome info from the set though....

i dont wan to get to see new moon while they are filming it, i want the whole experience. because if something gets posted i might not control myself and look for it xD

The only thing I am curious about really is who is going to be playing the parts of the wolves and the Volturi. I would prefer fans keep their distance and let them do their job . . . which is bring the book to life. It's difficult enough with all of the pressure they are getting from fans via internet and whatnot . . . without the complication people stalking the sets.

The article did mention them going back to the original Cullen house from Twilight. I don't know if they should or not considering how much of Eclipse and then Breaking Dawn (IF they end up filming BD) are shot there. I'm torn. I'd like to see them use something that reflects more what the book describes but for continuity purposes . . . using the other one may be the better choice. IDK?!
