200903061801.jpg Eagle Pictures, the distributor of New Moon in Italy, has just posted a notice on their official site that indicates there is still no decision on where New Moon will be filmed in Italy–contrary to a previous report from Variety that marked Volterra as the definitive filming site. However, it is certain that part of New Moon will be shot somewhere in Italy–

    I live in Naples, Italy and have actually contacted casting directors in Naples, Rome and Florence for extra casting in New Moon. No one knows anything over here yet either. There is a bunch of us waiting for the announcement, no matter where they film we will be there! We do have reservations in Volterra just in case!

  • I'm out there end of May. Have spoken to the Volterra tourist office and there are 2 bars/pubs Incontro and Quo Vadis perhpas one will be a good place for meeting twilight fans?

  • well i think i can live with that. i mean, if the place isnt right then they have to make changes and find the perfect fountain, they can shoot in different places and put it all together but we DO need the clock tower!!! so plz shoot that there
  • How can they go anywhere else in Italy? Ok there's no fountain in the Palazzo but is that really a major problem to over come? Come on Summit/location people sort it out. It has to be Volterra

  • Please please please, anywhere as long as it's in Italy. And true to the book. Please. It's going to be awesome when Kristen runs to find Edward. Because there'll be lots of people. And I'm looking forward to that cause in Twilight, it was always so little people in one scene(Mostly Edward & Bella). It's gonna be cool to see a huge amount of people in the movie. AH, why am I pouring out all my thoughts? :D
