In what may be the most intense fan meet-and-greet opportunity yet, in August 2010 there is going to be an Alaskan Cruise for Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene to join a boat full of Twilight fans for a weeklong journey into all things Twilight. The cruise will featureTwilight trivia, a costume ball, an autograph session, a charity auction, a vendors room and “All Twilight….All Week Long!”

This dream journey will run you between $1000-$3300 depending on what room you decide to stay in. Before departure in Seattle, there can also be a separate tour of Forks, WA.

Does anyone think they might be interested in joining this cruise? I’m a fan and all, but I’m not sure I could survive that long on a boat with a bunch of hardcore fans–I’m a landlubber! The exception, of course, is if Kellan whisked me away to his room for some late night beer pong and cuddle sessions. <ahem>

MTV contacted Kristen Stewart’s management to find out if the Twitter account the claims to be hers is actually real. What did they find?–

“Rob and i have become youtube geeks, it’s so awesomely wierd [sic]!” tweeted ‘kristensss” recently. And when a fan asked her last week which store she’d turn up in for the big “Twilight” weekend DVD festivities, she replied: “I’m not allowed to say where I’m going to but yes the whole cast will be at different ones.”

Kristen even recently Tweeted about her jet-setting movie star lifestyle, as well as going to Europe for costume fittings. “A jet to italy, we did a script runthrough, we got custumes fitted, etc. It all standard pre-production stuff. We then flew back,” she explained. And, discussing her bff Nikki Reed, she revealed: “Nikki is on a diet because she has slight wieght issues, I however just eat what evr the f–k i like when i like.”

But if these Tweets sound too good to be true, it’s because they are. And “kristensss,” who currently has 4,917 followers, is a phony.

“She does not Twitter or Facebook or anything,” was the response we got from reps for the real KStew when we approached them. “[And] they haven’t even gone to Italy yet.”

So Facebook and Twitter are verbs now? Incidentally, yes, NewMoonMovie.org does have Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Two lucky fans met up with the cream of the vamp crop in a Vancouver restaurant recently–

My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to chill with some “vampires” a couple of weeks ago. The guys were very friendly and flirty (especially the guy that plays Emmett) and quite possibly drunk. Seriously cool guys.

The Glowbal Grill & Satay Bar, a restaurant in Yaletown, has become a popular spot for the New Moon cast, the Vancouver Sun is reporting–

A tipster notified The Vancouver Sun Wednesday night of the star’s recent appearance, and a manager — who declined to give his name — confirmed that the Twilight cast frequent the swanky eatery “two or three times a week.”

The manager added that he didn’t want to scare the cast away and refused to provide any more information.

Is that some sort of Möbius strip of a rumor the manager is trying to pull? Uhhh…..I’m just throwing this out there, but I have a feeling that broadcasting to the local newspaper that the cast frequents Glowbal “two or three times a week” will do plenty to scare them away.

If you weren’t able to visit the site earlier, you weren’t alone–for nearly 18 hours, the site could not be reached due to major problems at our host, Dreamhost. I’ll not use any expletives and just say: it was frustrating and we’re on the lookout for a new host.

But we’re back now. Phew! While we were offline, there was a neat little article that was written about NewMoonMovie.org at Associated Content that Andrea sent in–

Newmoonmovie.org has already got the jump start on hyping up the Twilight sequel, New Moon. For Twilight fans, newmoonmovie.org knows just what they want. And what they want is to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in sexy poses – maybe a bit more for Pattinson. Newmoonmovie.org gave them just that with the creation of some new posters for New Moon yesterday. The fact that they were Photoshopped and fan created didn’t matter that much.

Newmoonmovie.org is a leading website to update progress on the sequel, which is being helmed by new director Chris Weitz. Casting in some key roles is still in progress, with Dakota Fanning already signed on as a Twilight newcomer.

We first covered these Smirky-Turkey fan posters a month ago and EW is just now getting around to it, erroneously calling them “new”.
