The Vancouver Sun reports on what we heard earlier today on ET’s Twitter--that Queen Bee Stephenie Meyer is on the set of New Moon in Vancouver. More specifically, she’s been spotted at the school where they’ll be filming the interior scenes for the new Forks High–

Several dozen students and fans gathered at David Thompson secondary in Vancouver Tuesday hoping a for a glimpse of the stars on the set of Twilight: New Moon.

They were not disappointed.

A few lucky Twilighters saw series author Stephenie Meyer beyond the barricades set up outside the school cafeteria where filming is taking place.

A single officer from the Vancouver Police Department is keeping the crowd inline.

Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan, was also seen on set today. Robert Pattinson, who plays vampire Edward Cullen, was not in evidence today.

Summit and the PTA are teaming up to get Twilight movie nights in schools across the country. Check out the PTA site, as well as a PDF you can deliver to your school to see if they’ll participate. Also, there is a free Twilight papercraft “Photo Cube” you can print out and fold together in this PDF! I don’t have a printer–anyone want to fold together one and post a picture in the comments?

ET is reporting that Taylor Lautner is participating in a charity auction for the Books for Kids Foundation. From the picture of the bag he painted, it looks like Taylor Lautner is apparently a big fan of Jackson Pollock! ET notes the auction will be starting next week–

Michael Angarano, longtime boyfriend of New Moon star Kristen Stewart, seems to be a point of contention around these parts–I think he’s pretty darn cute, but a lot of you seem to not think so. I’ve got some shots from one of my personal favorite blogs for work-safe-shirtlessness, Square Hippies, to show off the goods of the slightly off-topic honorary TwiDude.

I think we need to coin a new term for guys like Michael Angarano (and Shia LaBeouf, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, etc,) who aren’t muscly action stars or typical beefcake yet, but have clearly emerged from their adorkable phase. While Michael isn’t fully matured, he’s certainly on his way to sex symbol status, as these caps from “Snow Angels” clearly show, so we should have a word to celebrate this period of post-adorkable/pre-hunk sexiness. Twilight baddie Cam Gigandet was spotted with his girlfriend, Dominique Geisendorff on Sunday Morning. Just Jared Jr sez–

The 26-year-old actor was seen wearing a newsboy cap, holding a stack of newspaper and puffing away at a cancer stick.

“Marriage is definitely in their future,” Cam’s dad has said. “They won’t get married before the baby is born, but Dom will be our daughter-in-law sooner or later. We all love her so much.”
