Demi Lovato wants in on the New Moon soundtrack, but not the New Moon leading man Taylor Lautner. After meeting Taylor Lautner at the Nickolodeon Kids’ Choice Awards last week, Twist is reporting that Demi has said about the possibility of dating Taylor–

When asked if she thought she and Taylor made a cute couple, she quickly rejected that idea.

“Hold please, oh God. No, thank you! He is not for me,” Demi tells TWIST exclusively. “He seems more like a heartthrob type. I am more of a musician girl. He would have to rough up a little bit for me to date him!”

TWIST reported earlier today about Demi Lovato’s recent Twitter update, telling fans about the song she just finished, calling out one “orange, egotistical, young Hollywood actor, who thinks he’s the new heartthrob in town…” Who could it be? Our guess is Twilight breakout star Taylor Lautner!

Taylor is orange? That’s news to me!

UPDATE: Score for the insta-feedback of Twitter. Demi stated minutes ago that Taylor Lautner is not the orange heartthrob in question on her Twitter stream:  ”Taylor Lautner is not Orange. It’s not him. Most of you probably don’t even know him.”

Twilight Poison is mis-informed. These are not the factory-screened Tonner dolls, they are repaints by a doll repaint artist who is not affiliated with Tonner in any way. The “Jacob” doll is actually a repainted Basic Matt O’Neill and was not manufactured as a Jacob Black doll. The Edward and Bella dolls in the picture ARE the Edward and Bella dolls by Tonner but the artist has removed the factory paint and completely repainted their faces. That is why they do not look like the pictures on Tonner’s website.

Nikki Reed, wearing some fierce boots, arrived back in Vancouver yesterday. What did she do when she got back? According to Lainey Gossip–

Last night, Nikki and friend showed up at Rob’s, and Jackson Rathbone too, but no sign of Kristen, for a little jam session before bedtime.   

Also, I thought this was interesting, and I need a picture of this, stat!–

PS. A group of girls, everyday they’re downtown Vancouver wearing (thanks Emily!), all of them, the same hoodies that read: Looking 4 Robert Pattinson.

Are you bummed that the sequel to Twilight, New Moon, won’t be filming in Washington state, like the original? Due to the revenue lost, a state Senator is trying to pass legislation–Washington Substitute House Bill number 2042–to make sure that other productions like New Moon won’t move to Vancouver or elsewhere–

The Seattle PI (see Pillow Biters) claims that state Senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles, a Senate Democrat in Washington, was miffed by the fact that, even though The Twilight Saga: New Moon’s literary setting is in the Olympic Peninsula of the United States, it is presently filming in British Columbia (Vancouver), Canada.

The Act provides that all money received for the establishment of a motion picture competitiveness program will be diverted to such avenues as health insurance payments on a retirement plan and a tax credit marketer to promote the state’s tax credit programs, as well as administrative costs.

What’s going on with this “mystery blob” in this paparazzi photo of Robert Pattinson? And is Rob dating Nikki? E! Online’s Gossip Columnist Ted Casablanca is covering these stories with all due care-

Life & Style is reporting that Rob is “back” with New Moon costar Nikki Reed. Apparently, the two shacked up together after a party in Vancouver, causing N.R. to catch a later-than-anticipated flight to L.A.

We’re calling total bull on this one, folks.

Another Twilight know-it-all sniffed: “Well, let’s just say Nikki likes this stuff out there more than Rob does, who really just f–ks whoever he wants—and he does.”

Ok–so no, Robert isn’t dating Nikki. But what’s this!?–a mystery blob enters the picture! It’s just like the smoke monster on Lost!–

Oh, and a P.S. If you’re one of these folks lovin’ the “conspiracy” crap, then check this out. Same taxi ride in which Rob and K were pictured out together, but why is there a black blob Photoshopped out in the paparazzi pics?

Peter Facinelli will be in London in July for the London Film & ComicCon, alongside previous Doctor Who star Tom Baker. He’s recently noted his respect for the role, as well–

And Peter, who played Jimmy in Six Feet Under, said he’d love to play the Timelord if the opportunity arose – especially if it was in a film of the show.

Peter said: “I wish we had Doctor Who in America.

“Everyone in UK was raving about it when I came over for the conference. I’d love to watch it. Or even star as the Doctor in a film. I could even get a long stripy scarf!”

The 35-year-old actor also said he was looking forward to playing scatterbrained Dr Cooper in new US show Nurse Jackie but reckons his Twilight alter-ego Carlisle Cullen would be mortified by Dr Cooper’s slapdash medical skills.  

I am thrilled to hear Peter Facinelli mention Doctor Who, being that the new version of the series is one of my favorites. If he ever did play the Doctor, or even guest starred, I would probably need resuscitation! Check out the rest of the article at The Sun. [via TwiCrack]
