Charlie Bewley New Moon

200904151637.jpg Charlie Bewley, a newcomer from California London that lives in Canada, will take on the role of Demetri from the Volturi in New Moon. Not much info is available on the actor, but he definitely seems to have the look for the part! This seems to be a big break for Bewley, as around a month ago he tweeted “please let this be the last time I scandalously flirt with the bread line, dear lord”.

UPDATE: Until we can get some better pics of Charlie, I’ve done some Photoshopping to make the pictures in the background image at his website easier to see. Team Demetri, anyone?

Eclipse Poster This is all just speculation at this point, but it’s worth keeping in mind as we see more from the New Moon set. Are Eclipse and New Moon–or at least parts of them–being filmed at the same time? A reader over at TwiCrack sends this in–

One of my best guy friends went out to LA to visit his mom over Easter and he ended up going to Easter dinner with someone who worked on Twilight and is currently working on New Moon. They talked briefly about it, saying that they would film in Italy at the end of May. My friend also said that the crewmember told him that they are currently shooting both the 2nd AND the 3rd. I asked my friend if he meant that they were filming Eclipse right after they finish New Moon, but he said that he was sure they are filming both. It kind of makes sense and it explains why Taylor Lautner was in the parking lot pictures on Lainey Gossip (Jacob shows up at Forks H.S. in Eclipse to confront Edward).

Hmm. What do you guys think? We did hear from Lainey Gossip yesterday that they were filming a scene where “Jacob turns into a wolf”…

So, who do you think did a better job with the GQ cover? Need we even ask? Zac Efron is on this month’s cover, Robert Pattinson was featured last month. E! says

On the right, we have the sparkly vampire who looks disinterested in this whole thing. He didn’t even shave before getting photographed for the cover. But that’s part of his charming “I don’t give an ef” attitude.

Then there’s Zefron, the singing and dancing wonder who appears a little too enthusiastic, like “Hey guys! Does this blue make my eyes pop? Who wants to get a milk shake after this?!”

[thanks, Rondra!]
