Uh-oh gals, looks like there is romance afoot on the set of New Moon–Taylor Lautner is reportedly hanging out with Selena Gomez quite a bit in his free time, Lainey Gossip is reporting–
Both 16 and both in Vancouver – Selena Gomez arrived in town last week to begin work on a new movie called Ramona and Beezus.
My sources tell me exclusively that she and Taylor Lautner, of Twilight of course, have had dinner 3 times now, and that he’s been visiting her onset at her lunch hour when he’s not shooting.
Are you overloading on the cute?
Let me take it one step further:
One night they went to the Spaghetti Factory!
Awwwwww…
Lainey didn’t get the facts correct on Taylor’s age, so who knows if this is true. They’d make a cute couple though!

Are you counting the minutes till the ET Exclusive Video Coverage of New Moon starts tonight like I am? Access Hollywood has some more footage of Taylor Lautner working out on the set of New Moon in Vancouver that might hold you over in the meantime.
Why does everyone keep touching him? Are those gunshots I hear? Oh wait, now I see the guns! If you want to see more, check out the footage and photos of Taylor Lautner exercising that Punkd caught.
There’s a new book that is attempting to teach vocabulary for the SAT in a very inventive way–by using the Twilight novel!–
The Defining Twilight vocabulary workbook takes a bite out of tedious studying with a thrilling new way to master your vocabulary skills for the SAT, ACT, GED, and SSAT exams. You’ll use this workbook side-by-side with your own copy of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight. Each chapter of the workbook gives you eight words taken from Twilight, with page references for you to read the words in the context of your favorite novel. You’ll attempt to define the words on your own before turning back to the workbook for their actual definitions. Once you have a grip on the words and their meanings, you’ll learn their word parts and some useful synonyms. Plus, you’ll get memorization tools so you’re sure to retain what you’ve learned. At the end of each section you’ll take SAT, ACT, GED, and SSAT drills to test and integrate your new vocabulary skills. Why use a boring, dated workbook when you can use this workbook and
You can pre-order the book for $9.99 and see all the rest of the details at Amazon.

Larry Caroll over at MTV has quite a bit to say about the choice of director for Eclipse. He has previously interviewed David Slade, who has been chosen to lead the movie, and thinks he will shake up the Twilight Saga quite a bit, even moreso than Chris Weitz–
I’ve interviewed David Slade before, and he’s a very smart, charismatic guy who harnesses some immense filmmaking tools. That said, I definitely thought “30 Days of Night” was a disappointment. It had a lot of fatal flaws in it, usually whenever the blood would stop flowing and it was time for us to actually start caring about the characters. “Hard Candy” also flirted with moments of brilliance, but I still feel like Slade’s best work is ahead of him.
What I am beginning to enjoy, however, is Summit’s decision to hire a different director for each film. Which is surprising, because I was definitely hoping that Catherine Hardwicke would oversee the entire series after the first “Twilight” became such a big hit. But if you’re a movie buff (and not just a Twilighter first and foremost), this is developing into a very interesting cinematic experiment.

Mandy was investigating the New Moon forest set, and guess what she spotted–a wolf! A security guard cautioned them not to walk in a certain direction, because–
So he says *excited* “I wouldn’t, they are bringing a WOLF down”
*inner squeeeeee* I appear calm but holy moly I was ANYTHING but calm…. a wolf?!?!?
MeMy and I exchanged glances – we’d hit the jackpot!!!
We waited and watched as two trainers brought down the most beautiful, large, wolf.
I am no animal expert so I don’t know what type of wolf it was but it was big, it was grey, with bits of white in it… it was stunning to see.

Deseret Book, a book store owned by the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints, has pulled the Twilight Saga from store shelves as well as its website. The only response from the store is that the store is “meeting the needs of Deseret Book customers and the company’s purpose is to offer products that are embraced and expected by those customers”.
The Host, another book by Twilight author Stephenie Meyer, is still on shelves.
