Peter Facinelli has revealed the scenes he has shot so far in New Moon–including the birthday scene, the voting scene, and the scene where he stiches up Bella. He note that he has a couple of more shots to do in May, then he’ll be done. Coincidentally, when he was visiting Disneyland with his family none other than Stephenie Meyer was there as well–
I saw Stephenie Meyer at Disneyland. We went to Disneyland – just randomly went to Disneyland with my family and we both were eating dinner at the [Blue] Bayou restaurant, you know, Pirates of the Caribbean. And it was so odd. She walked over and I was like, ‘This is too coincidental.’ But, I should have told her, ‘You know, why did you take the Cullens out of the second book so much?’ I did tell her, ‘You know what? I’m a little upset I didn’t get to go to Italy.’ I said, ‘Carlisle could have shown up in Italy.’”
4TNZ is having a content to win a copy of Stephenie Meyer’s New Moon, signed by Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the movie. To enter, visit here.
New Moon star Taylor Lautner and a gal-pal from his previous acting days–Victoria Justice–have been spotted on the streets of Vancouver, this time with Papa Wolf–Taylor’s dad–as well as some other friends–
Sunday he and his dad hooked up for a friendly lunch with a girl he used to work with back in the Nickelodeon days. Vancouver is a major production hotspot right now! The girl was accompanied by her mother who is also her publicist. Needless to say, mom/publicist was hoping she could hitch a ride onto Taylor who now, as you know, has earned a very high profile.
As for what’s happening on set of New Moon today – continuing to shoot break up and Bella losing it and some scenes with Bella and Jacob in her room. Tomorrow, it’s a movie theatre and an Edward apparition and a motorcycle or something.
Twilight baddie Cam Gigandet has named the baby daughter that his girlfriend Dominique Geisendorff had on April 14th. Just Jared Jr. exclusively reports that the new addition to the family has been named Everleigh Ray Gigandet.
For those who will miss Cam in New Moon, he is about to start work on a film with Gossip Girls star Leighton Meester called The Roommate.Variety says–
Psychological thriller centers on a deranged college freshman who becomes obsessed with her new roommate. Gigandet will play the boyfriend of the second female lead, who has yet to be cast.
Before Twilight and New Moon, Robert Pattinson nearly gave up on acting. This seems ridiculous in retrospect given his current stardom, but People takes a look at this period in his life–
“He was thinking about giving up acting and maybe doing music solely when this role [in How To Be] came along,” the film’s director, Oliver Irving, tells PEOPLE. “He wanted to play the roles he wasn’t getting.”
Irving says that for Pattinson, being cast as the lead of role of an awkward, quirky young musician who hires a self-help guru to come live with him “got him back into the swing of things again.” Irving adds that after the Harry Potter films, in which Pattinson played Cedric Diggory, “He was looking for something more challenging.”
The Twilight star, 22, says he doesn’t quite understand his heartthrob status – or the fuss about his signature tousled do. “I don’t get it. It’s funny, you look the same for years and no one ever mentions it. Then suddenly it’s a big deal.”
BuzzSugar has an article describing five reasons they are optimistic about New Moon–it’s interesting to read this type of thing from a non-fan’s perspective. They said that Twilight was a bit of a critical dissapointment:
The faithful flocked to theaters, but some folks new to the story left wondering what all the hype is about. I’m hoping the next movie in this saga, New Moon, will be an improvement over the first one when it hits theaters later this year. While I’m sure it’ll be huge no matter what, I’d rather it be good!

Quality Casting: New Moon has attracted some honest-to-goodness thespians like Michael Sheen and talented youngsters like Dakota Fanning. I think that says a lot about the strength of the script and the faith folks have in the direction this installment of the franchise is going.
Here is my list of reasons why I think New Moon might be good: “It’s New Moon.” Check out the rest of the reasoning behind their choices over at Buzzsugar.
Hugh Jackman has more kind words to say for Robert Pattinson to The Insider concerning their recent karaoke fun in Japan–
“That guy has got a voice on him, there’s an album coming,” Hugh says about the multi-talented young heartthrob. “If he wants to do it, there’s an album coming.”
As for what Hugh Jackman sang during karaoke, he said he started with Snoop Dogg!
