200904022020.jpg In what may be the most intense fan meet-and-greet opportunity yet, in August 2010 there is going to be an Alaskan Cruise for Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene to join a boat full of Twilight fans for a weeklong journey into all things Twilight. The cruise will featureTwilight trivia, a costume ball, an autograph session, a charity auction, a vendors room and “All Twilight….All Week Long!”

This dream journey will run you between $1000-$3300 depending on what room you decide to stay in. Before departure in Seattle, there can also be a separate tour of Forks, WA.

Does anyone think they might be interested in joining this cruise? I’m a fan and all, but I’m not sure I could survive that long on a boat with a bunch of hardcore fans–I’m a landlubber! The exception, of course, is if Kellan whisked me away to his room for some late night beer pong and cuddle sessions. <ahem>

    I'm going on the cruise and so far everyone that I've been talking to has been all for being respectful of the actors. I don't think it's going to be a screamfest but just a fun time. The actors are an added bonus but even if they weren't going I would still be on that ship. To be around people who understand the obsession is worth it. :)

    My mom and I want to go. She wants my dad and my husband to go too, but I'm trying to talk her into a girls trip. That way the guys won't get annoyed with all the Twilight stuff. We've always wanted to take a cruise to Alaska, why not combine it with our latest obsession? I'd like to see Ashley and Kellan confirm that they are indeed going before I book the trip. I like the idea of adding on the time in Seattle/Forks too.

    Hey Girls! here's the link to the other Twilight conventions this summer, there not cruises so its less expensive. Like I said I already paid for mine in Aug. Cant Wait! There's alot of good Twilight actors going to all of them. :-)

    I just find the date ironic because that'll be my 21st b-day. I think I was meant to be on that cruise and how awesome would that be?! That is quite a bit of money though so I'll have to see if I can save up for a while. I don't even know how much the average cruise costs, but I'm pretty sure its not that much haha. Maybe if I keep bugging my parents about it they'll think about making it my bday present!

    I feel sorry for Kellan and Ashley tbh. They're gonna be followed around by a bunch of screaming fans for the first couple of days at least. I've always wanted to go to Alaska and cruises are great, but I think I'll pass. Too much screaming.

  • Oh the screaming would drive me bonkers. It would remind me of being at a Backstreet Boys concert from way back in the day. My ears are still recovering!

    I feel bad for them too. Maybe the Cruiseliner will supply them with an extra life boat. Notably titled the "Oh S**t What was I thinking?" boat.

    Im a Mom and loves twilight so much. My husaband is also a fan but not as much as i am. We are saving every bit of money to go on the cruise. My husband is for it cause its on his birthday so hes all for it. Nothing like a second honeymoon to go see twilight. Plus my kids can handle a week with grandma and grandpa.

    Oh, me and everyone at Twilight Extremists are trying to plan a site trip on the cruise. I've always wanted to go on a cruise, why not a Twilight one? And it won't be COMPLETELY Twilight, it's only a portion of the cruise. I would love to go, but it's too far away to tell yet (but the fact that Kellan and Ashley will be there is a huge plus)

As cool as it would be, if he were to go on that cruise.....I don't think I would wish that on him. He would go into hiding forever!!!! Never to act again! Scary thought! I need my Rob!

    Without even knowing about this, my family booked an Alaskan cruise from this same company, but we leave a few days after the convention. When I saw this I was just freaking out!! Uhg wish I could change the cruise date but no one in my family are twilight fans! I'm so bummed!!!!! What are the chances, really!

    But you see, this is not a lot of money for a holiday. I am guessing that minors have to be accompanied by an adult, which would mean they are aiming this cruise at adults, not fangirls.

    My guess is their target audience is the Twilight Moms (or Mums, as we say outside of the US).

    could also be aimed towards those fans in their 20's as well. a cruise may seem expensive but you pay for everything (mostly) for that ticket. meals and all that are supposed to be included. all you really have to pay extra money for are excursions.
