Variety is reporting that the Twilight villain has been cast opposite Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester in Screen Gems’ psychological thriller The Roomate. The story, which could begin filming as soon as May, follows a mentally unstable college freshman who becomes obsessed with her roommate. Gigandet will play Meester’s boyfriend.

    It's really quite annoying for the people in England. I have to wait -along with the others from England- 6 extra days till New Moon comes out. It's really annoying! Cause everyone talks about it and i'm just left to suffer in the rainy north west of yorkshire (ew) and have to wait those six extra days hyperventilating and bugging the hell out of my friends and my form tutor! Haha..good times. I'm so excited! :O

    I wouldn't mind being his roomate, but only if he walks around shirtless and barefoot like in Twilight, although I would make him scrub his hands~they just looked filthy in the movie, especially when he had his hand on Edward's neck in the ballet studio...Ok, I'm done now.
    Does sound like a damn good movie though. I'll be seeing it.

    Ahh Cam is so hott! I love me some Cam. LoL I just bought the fighting movie he was in, "Never Back Down". wow what a great movie. Hes super hott and SHIRTLESS throughout the whole movie. the other guys in it are pretty good lookin as well. Cant wait for this movie to come out as well!!

    Ya he is definitely hot and shirtless throughout 'Never Back Down' but like in Twilight he gets his a** beat at the end!!! Ha! And the other actor Sean Faris looks so much like a young Tom Cruise...i think i had a dumb look on my face the whole movie cause I couldnt get over the resemblence! I have to say though Sean is way better looking then Tom!
