Chris Weitz has revealed an interesting detail on how the shapeshifting werewolves in New Moon will appear once they transform into wolf form. Though they will be computer generated creatures the size of horses, the eyes will be digitally pasted on from the actors’ actual eyes, in order to make them as realistic as possible. Weitz also notes that the wolf pack has been bonding quite a bit in preparation for their roles–
The Twilight sequel is filming now, and between takes, the actors usually are working out with barbells, doing push-ups or chowing down on steak, Weitz says. “They went through wolf camp together, and they are in constant training. It paid off as a bonding thing for them and helped them to get to know one another. They drove each other to get more buff.”

I LOVE what they have planned for my wolves. I have been waiting for this to happen for a while now. The actors are great, they look absurdly tasty, and this will be awesome. Honestly, I don't know how interested I'll be in seeing them in wolf-form. I mean I'll be excited for them to phase for the first time and see them as wolves, but I think after about 30 seconds I'll be like, “Can you please phase back now? I'd like to stare at your upper body some more.” But the concept does sound very cool.

Hmmm….the only other actresses I can think of are Teneil Whiskeyjack. (you may have problems finding stuff for her) Teneil is my second choice (first choice for Kim though), Alex Rice, maybe Jana Mashonne (I see her more as Rachel Black), Lusheia Lenaburg, and Davina Smith.
Maybe Q'orianka Kilcher. Some have suggested her but for me I can't picture it.

Yeah I remember Q'orianka, she is the Pacohontas chick. She def has that Native look, but still to sweet and innocent looking for Leah. And I did look up Teneil, she would be a perfect Kim. From the way Bella describes her in Eclipse after she notices the way Jared is staring at her, she fits the description perfectly. Man I hope they put that in Eclipse, I want to see Jared staring at her like a blind man seeing the sun for the first time, that would be so cute. And I know Chaske and Tinsel is going to have amazing chemistry. I could actually see them together for real. Jana is really beautiful too for Rachel Black. I love my real name with that Black on the end, lol! Let me stop, but yeah her and Alex would be smokin together.
I agree about Q'orianka. That's why I have a hard time picturing her as Leah. I hope they keep the Jared/Kim scene. That part is SO important to the story line. It really delves into the story of the wolves. Quil Sr telling everyone about Third Wife and so forth. I had chills reading, and it brought back some memories. I can only imagine the emotion I will feel seeing it.
Jana is a fellow Carolina girl. We are from the same tribe (she is part Lumbee like my dad who is half Lumbee/half Irish. My mom is full Cherokee) so I have mad love, respect, and pride for her.

I know that kitchen scene just screams love and passion the way Bella describes them. When Sam comes in and he says, “Emily” and grabs her face and kiss the side of her ruined face and her lips. That's love baby! I need Melissa Rosenberg info asap so I can beg her to just give Leah's role to Crystle Lightning. That would be sheer perfection. Even her name resembles the words of sassy and cute.

The Sam/Emily kitchen scene made me swoon big time. They had their share of issues but the undying love was still there. I actually liked Sam better than Edward. lol *ducks from the flying Twilight books* He just seemed SO human to me. All of the wolves did. To me they were the most humane and realistic characters of the book.
Plus side, I never wanted to stangle them!

I know the wolves are just so fun and human, despite the shifting. And the family bond they had was totally translated from the books. That's why I loved Jake and Leah so much because they were conflicted characters, but still did what they had to do and kept their focus in spite of the pain and opposition. Gotta love them! And even the imprinting is just amazing to me. Edward said its nearly as strong as he feels about Bella, but I think it IS clearly stronger. The vamps chooses their mates, whereas the wolves imprinting is mandatory and permanent. Nothing else exists that is more important than their mate, that's it. I ain't gone lie that is why I was hoping that Blackwater would have happen, to keep it Native and together. Not that I have anything against Nessie, but to me Jake should have been with someone from his side, just my opinion. Anyway, I think I found Rene Haynes e-mail address for casting. Nice bods! I'm not into brawny guys (I'm more into handsome faces and slender figures than bulky bodies lol) but I have to admit they do look great and will be perfect as the wolf pack. I can almost see the fans in the theater chanting 'wolves! wolves!' each time the screen switches from the wolves to anyone else lol. And shooting half naked in Vancouver, kudos to them.

I loved that Jake and Leah were so conflicted. I really love how you described them because despite everything they did keep going. I know that Jacob ran in wolf form, but when he was needed to protect, he was there. I LOVED that Jacob actually fought for what he wanted. Even when I wanted him to completely wash his hands of Bella. I loved his loyalty. That is a HUGE thing for me and I just fell in love with his character. Forget the sparkly dude in the Volvo, I want the 108.9 hotness in a Rabbit! I cried more for Jacob than any other character. I cried more for Leah than I did Bella. Now I'm rambling lol.
I loved even more that they were damaged characters. Their stories paralleled so evenly with each other it was awesome. I wanted Blackwater as well, and that is why I am an avid Blackwater fanfic reader, and soon to be writer. I thought a healing each other story would have been beautiful. I find imprinting utterly fascinating as well. I really love the connection that it creates. I didn't like Jake imprinting on Nessie. Only because I knew then he would be stuck (despite his feelings for Bella went away) with the Cullen family. I personally would have written him finally walking away from Bella. And that is a whole other discussion lol.
Well girl I did it! I e-mailed her and I pray she gets it and read it seriously. But yeah Jake and Leah would have been awesome like a kick ass team, especially her being his Beta. The only think I liked about Nessie being with Jake is that it irritated Edward especially and Bella at first. The one gift that wouldn't of wanted to give him, they had no choice and he got it anyway. But other than that I could have done without it. To be honest, Bella was my least fav character out that whole book. She really did not deserve all the attention she got. That's why I think Leah really wanted to kill her because she was so selfish and didn't see it and of course because she was a leech-lover and wanted to become one. And you know what I loved and I thought how cute, why can't they be together? When Leah snapped at Bella when she was going to attack Jake about Nessie and when they went in the house to tell them about Charlie and Bella was threatening Jake again and she said Leah never took her eyes off her and her teeth was bared at her, lol! I was like awww, she protecting her man. At least that is how I see it and will always see it. Leah was so protective of Jake, even when she sent Seth to see if he was okay when he crashed human and didn't phase back and when Bella pissed him off and he left in a hurry to Seattle. Jake said her face was so worried. And I would pay anything to know what Leah told Bella when she went to tell her off that had her crying! Man I have been dying to know that. It was about time someone told her about herself. Okay, let me stop because I'm getting mad about Leah and Jake all over again.

Who's counting Jake's selfless acts though. They always go unnoticed. *eye roll* Bella was by far my least favorite as well. My neighbor thought I was in trouble and came the check on me lol. I would have killed to be a fly on the wall for that! I read a really great fan fic of that very scene. Very realistic. I really don't care what Steph says but Leah was falling for Jake. I will not believe anything else. Given the chance I think he would have fallen too. But noooo Leah had to be hurt…again.

I so agree with you about Leah. I felt the the same when I read the book, you could feel the attraction and tension between the two of them. And then when Leah goes storming off to yell at Bella there had to be something there for her to do that. And her leaving the pack and joining Jake mustn't have been easy. I know with Sam she didn't want to stick around but she joined Jake whilst still not liking the Cullens and Bella especially for all the pain she gave Jake. I feel for Leah and I agree that I think Jake should have ended up with Leah and not Nessie.

I agree. I'm not totally against imprinting because it seems to fit the rest and the devotion is unwavering. I just don't like it with Jake imprinting on Nessie. I mean like you said he is devoted to Bella throughout the entire saga (which she didn't deserve) and then Steph puts him with a someone who's not even an adult! I was so pissed because I'm a Jacob fan and I was like we don't even see him in an actual adult relationship, what the hell?! Him and Leah would have been perfect to fall in love naturally and develop flawless passion together. If Stephanie think about it, they way she wrote their bonding, that is exactly what had developed between them. But she detoured it with Renesmee, such a cop out! And because Jacob is the rightful Alpha, I think Steph could have wrote it like imprinting wasn't an option for him because as a leader he should be able to choose his true love without worrying about imprinting.

I thought the imprinting was totally an interesting thought- I guess I also felt just a bit cheated out of seeing Jake develop an adult relationship with someone – and I think it's something really neat in a relationship when there's sort of a story behind how you became stronger as a couple and got to know each other, fought through tough times together, etc. – the imprinting was just a tad too automatic for me. I still like Bella, but I guess I'm a champion-of-the-underdog and it would have just been more satisfying to see the guy who loses end up having to be fought for and treated with respect and affection after all he went through.

Yes let us pray she is wiser than her mother! But I did think it was cute when she replayed her Mom attacking him and she was glad Seth blocked it because Jacob was hers and she didn't want him hurt. I thought it was funny how she had to school her mother about Jacob. It was like her saying hey, he really stayed around because of me not you so don't you dare hurt him, lol! Anyway, girl Rene responded to my e-mail, so exciting! She was so nice in her e-mail, she thanked me for giving her props on her casting with the wolves thus far and agreed that Crystle would be awesome. She told me she has known Crystle since she was little and would def look into her. The issue is she said IF she would be recruited again for the next casting and she said final decision of casting is up to the director. So I'm just praying they get her on the casting for Eclipse, which would be stupid if they didn't and she talks Crystle into trying for Leah if it has not been ran by her already. That would just make my day, since Leah don't end up with Jake she could at least have the best person to play her!

Hey, RebelM.. (: I think that's why, even though Edward is such a great character also, I liked Jacob, too. It's like Edward is so beautiful and perfect that I think I emphasized more with Jacob personally, because not all of us are born beautiful and fast and always sexy and exciting, so I totally related to Jake just struggling to put himself out there and be as much to Bella as he was able to give… which unfortunately wasn't enough.
I still don't completely love the Nessie character-(hope I'm not sounding negative about Steph. Meyer- still think it's a great series and a lot of things in Breaking Dawn I did like) again, because she's almost too perfect. She's gorgeous, everyone loves her, can get people to see her point of view, ages at the exact correct rate, is kind… where are the flaws???? And …oops now I”m on my little Breaking Dawn Soap Box- where did Leah vanish to at the end of the story. I really liked Seth also- so brave and just throw-yourself-in-the-path of evil kind of kid…..and then all of the sudden Sue is hanging out with Charlie out of the blue. She was mentioned once before as sort of worn out and tired looking? Too many loose strings-

I know I was so disappointed about that. I loved the scene in the book because it was just so funny picturing Jacob backing away from Bella and being scared of her reaction and I did laugh through all of that whilst I read it. But maybe Leah did have feelings for Jacob and he just never knew.
I know JB won't age so his relationship with Nessie will be possible later especially as she grows up faster but I did read it and think 'oh man the guys not getting any action for a couple of years!!' That and it just felt rushed, like Stephanie felt she had to give him someone and that to develop a relationship with him and Leah would have taken the book off tangent so she just had him imprint on a baby. I personally don't think knowing Jacob that he would have, he was so in love with Bella that I still can't see how he could do that. I mean till the moment she has Nessie, Bella is still everything to him, heck he leaves the pack to make sure she doesn't get harmed, so I can't see how no matter how imprinting takes place that he would do this.
Leah would have been perfect for him…I hope a fansite will write the Jacob and Leah story because I see that as my happy ending for Jacob rather than with Nessie.
The tent scene is the best bit of Eclipse, I can't wait to see that on film! I agree, I loved BD but I do think bits of it were rushed to get to an end. The whole build up to the fight and then there's no fight! Don't get me wrong I still loved BD but it just wasn't the ending I had hoped for especially for Jacob.

Although, my two favorite werewolves are Jacob and Seth and they're not here. I understand Seth hasn't been cast yet, but I would have liked to have seen Taylor thrown in there. I honestly can't wait until they cast Seth.
I am still at work so I will be checking my aol account (work has it blocked) when I get home. I love what Rene did for the pack. They would be stupid to hire someone else for Eclipse.
I certainly connected more with Jacob rather than Edward. To me he was too bland of a character for me. I still like him but certainly is not my favorite. Jacob was more real to me because of his struggles and what not. Not only with his fight for Jacob but his lack of home life really ripped at my heart. My poor Jacob!
I'm not a huge fan of the Nessie character either. I like her simply because by Jacob imprinting on her it took away his pain. Althought I would have rather seen he and Leah heal each other normally. That to me would have made a better story. At the end of the story Leah was part of Jacob's pack still. I totally hate Leah didn't get her happy ending or well any ending.
I loved the tent scene in Eclipse! I loved Jacob's humor in it and that he was irritating Edward. That for me was the best part.
ME TOO! Chris has really done awesome bringing the wolves to life! I am so excited to see how this special effect plays out. So excited! Can't wait til November!

First I didn't have too much Twifaith in Chris until everything started happening. Now I want him to direct Eclipse and possibly Breaking Dawn! I really believe he is sticking to the book as much as possible. I love him for that!
I'll just rent a bus and we can all go to wolf camp! lol. I wonder if they need a towel girl to wipe the sweat from their brows as they lift weights. hmmm. lol
We all have to remember that this was BELLA's story . . . not Jacob's. And Stephenie did leave the door open for their story. Sure it's disappointing that we don't know what happens between them by the end of the book, but it isn't their book . . . it's Bella's. I think their story could be more epic than Edward and Bella's given the host of complications! And oh . . . more on the wolves! That would be great!
Certainly can't disagree with you. Sometimes the imagination runs and we wonder “what if” or “what will happen” and so forth. I personally would love a Jacob and Nessie story that really could be more epic. Not only with the imprinting stuff but I can't imagine the Volturi throwing a party for a half-vampire falling in love with a shapeshifter/werewolf.
More on the wolves would be wonderful! I tried to hold back the irritation in Steph not revealing a little more about the newest wolves in Breaking Dawn. As you said though, this is Bella's story. Even if some of us do find irritation with her lol.

Jacob is def the more realistic character. Edward was okay, just not my cup of tea personally. He just didn't have any appeal to me as far as his character goes. But I will def be waiting for a copy of Midnight Sun. His version of Twilight is far more interesting than Bella's. I could only read her version one time, that was enough for me. Again Bella was just really the only character that got under my skin. It was just little things she said or did that was like, are you serious? Like how she got mad at Jake for showing images of her dark time to Edward in his head. Then she screams at him not to do it again like he was physically hurting the boy or something. I was like girl please! He needs to see what his so say justified absence did to you. He turned you into a walking coma for 4 plus months and you screaming at Jake, the person who kept the little bit of sanity you had left?! I'm telling you the Leah was coming out of me reading that. I don't care how justified Edward THOUGHT he was in leaving, he should have known better than that. As a matter of fact, he should be thinking Jacob every time he sees him for keeping Bella in one piece. That just killed me. But yeah cheers to Jake and Leah!
I was thinking the same thing. Are we really going to be able to tell who is who based on their eyes? I mean I don't gaze into those guys' eyes everyday (sadly) so I probably wouldn't be able to tell one wolf from the next.
I completely agree Team_WolfPack! Like that was what made it weird for me. It wasn't that Nessie was young, but that it was Bella's daughter! I mean howyou go from literally giving up everything you have for Bella to complete love with her daughter. I mean I loved Steph, but that was just too weird, even with the imprinting.
I agree. And you are right about the Volturi…..don't think they'd find that very amusing at all!
From my understanding, stephenie was under major pressure to end the Saga with Eclipse (from her publisher). I'm sure that is part of the reason parts of BD seem rushed or lacking detail and so flippin long!
I really loved that he imprinted on Nessie. It sort of completed the family Bella always imagined. I always look back on all 4 of the books similarly to how I look at life…everything happens for a reason. Perhaps a higher power had something to do with the mess Bella seemed to create for she and Edward and Jake. He had to endure all of the crap in order to meet “the right one.”. Idk….that's just how I see it anyway.
I kind of like Sue and Charlie hooking up. Because Charlie was just too good of a person and a sweetheart to leave alone, so it was good Sue would be there to take care of him like Bella did and of course for some romance, lol. I'm sure it's been awhile for Charlie, so its time he got back in the groove!
I can't wait for Midnight Sun! I have read Steph's draft more than I have Twilight. It was just in depth and I really could feel him. I guess that was my problem with Bella as well. I was so irritated by the way she was treating Jacob (let's be honest 90% of the time she was hostile and a little brat toward him) and sometimes with Charlie, that I wasn't overly blown away. I still love and adore the saga just because of other, important, and intricate characters. I don't flat out hate her because I could connect with her in certain ways. Parts of the love story I really connected with. Her 4 month coma I could certainly empathize with.
I just empathized with Jacob and Leah more lol. I gravitate toward the damaged characters more. The Leah (I wish I had the ability to not bite my tongue like her) was coming out in me as well. I voiced my opinion to a fellow Twifan and she looked at me like I was insane.
Thank goodness someone feels the same as me! lol. I thought I was all alone.

Oh I can certainly see your point. I am a big believer in everything happening for a reason. That is probably why, despite some hesistant feelings, I don't completely dislike the imprinting. Some thing I do not like. However I remember the hell Jacob went through and now he finally has some peace. Not to mention Nessie (that lucky little warm-blooded cold one) gets one hell of a guy for life.
When I think of Bella and Jacob not being able to stay away from each other. I think of Nessie and a higher power. It reduces my irritation toward Bella lol. I'm sorry. I can't help it. I just don't full out love and adore her like some. But again I can certainly see your point and I can't argue it. lol

Oh, trust me, I don't adore Bella. I've been in Jacob's place and it sucked! But I've also felt similarly about someone like Bella does about Edward. Both situations suck!
like you guys have said though maybe one day she will go back and write the Jacob and Nessie story. I loved seeing everything from Jacobs perspective in BD it was real emotions so to get their story would be amazing.
Maybe one day Steph will revisit the saga and finish midnight sun and also start a new chapter with Jacob and Nessie. Even JK Rowling says she consider continuing HP without HP being the main charcter moving forwards. When you have such a fan base on the books I don't see how the authors can't consider going back and adding to the stories…fans will buy the book and its a publishers' dream…they're sitting on a goldmine that they can develop on and they know it.
I love how their taking the special effects for the werewolves so seriously. I can't wait to see the first official trailer for New Moon!

seriously, I wish we could write somewhere (director/Stephenie M and beg them to put in the whole tent tthing) I love it when Jake gets dumped on his back and just pops right back up and squashes Bella, then gets thrown against the tent wall. The visual was just fun to imagine (also like the, ”Are you sure you don:ｔ want to give her to me, considering ALL the things I Can do with her that you can`t” Don:t know exact quote… But the whole conversation was a blast
