Fake Edward Cullen Teeth Bite into DVD

Robert Pattinson Bite Machine Twilight UK DVD

In what may be one of the most bizarre marketing experiments to date, the UK DVD release of Twilight is promising a very unique treat for people who want Robert Pattinson’s “autograph.” And by autograph, we mean fake teeth marks on a DVD case.

Well, after months of fans like YOU screaming for a nibble from Rob, your dreams have come true. When the Twilight DVD comes out on Monday (April 6) in England, people might notice a big chunk missing from their DVD case. That’s because it comes with the very first autobite!
They took a plaster of Rob’s mouth (whoever they are – lucky!) and made a steel copy of his teeth, which they used to “bite” out chunks of every DVD case! It’s got his exact teeth marks and everything – which means that if you press it against your neck, it’s like Rob bit you (well, without the deadly good looks and British charm, of course)!

Rob had molds of his teeth made when he signed on for twilight.
The powers that be thought his teeth needed to be straighten, so
they got him invisalign (clear braces/retainers) to wear. The Dentist/
ortho always keeps a mold of your teeth for adjustments later or if you
lose your invisaligns.

Interesting. I'd heard they asked him to 'fix his teeth,' and he refused. Not to say that they didn't go so far as to do the molds, and yes I think it's an odd marketing ploy. But, think about it. How many women have walked up to him asking him to bite them. He says it happens all the time. I can see where they got the idea.

But he did get the invisaligns, but he just wouldn't wear them. I've
had them myself and they do hurt at first, but you have to wear them
awhile to get used to them. I can see him not having the patience for it.

If I get my copy I will be raging! Because that means that ther will be a great big hole in the side off the case where dust and dirt can get into and scratch my dvd. I will not be amused!!!

I finally figured out how to load the pic...It took me long enough.

I would love to have it sunny all year round, the weather here is crap, it was 17 degrees today and that is warm for us, thats our average temp in summer and the past 2 years in the summer it rained so bad we had floods.

Are we sure this story didn't first appear on the 1st April, it's gotta be a joke. For those from the UK the story originated in 'The Sun' and we all know you can't believe anything in that rag.

But seriously I got excited yesterday when play.com sent an email to say my DVD had been shipped, if it's got a hole in the case I will not be amused! The most stupid idea ever. The US gets parties and visits from the cast and we get a hole.

I pre-ordered mine on Amazon as soon as i could, and i am SURE they wont have bites out of them, at least i hope not!

I think its kinda a fun idea but really who wants bite marks in their DVD case I mean its cool how they are actually just like Roberts teeth but we want our copies of Twilight to be perfect and We dont want a scratched up disc. They shoud rethink this idea and maybe just put Roberts teeth marks look like their on the disc or just make a little indent but a whole bite through the case thats just akward for the fans and Robert I mean do you think he wants girls having bite marks from him on their DVD cases? lol it is pretty silly but i got to say id get anything that has to do with rob pattinson even if it was his teeth marks on a case, and up to sophie people are always trying to exploite people for money if they want it they by it there are exploiting themselves by doing it they dont have to but they do so the people that buy it is as much to blame as summit.

SOOOOOO excited my DVD just arrived! A whole two days before the official UK release date, yay. Guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend.

And I'm pleased to say no stupid bite marks. I've got 4 cards with my version that are supposed to be exclusive to play.com where I got mine from. If I can ever figure out how to do it I'll try to upload. Although I think I have seen them before in some of the pics of versions from the US. Theres Edward and Bella at prom, Edward and Bella in the meadow and Edward and Bella taken from the scene where they were by the water. And a pic of James, Victoria and Laurent.

I'm off to start watching now! although I really need to go shopping and do some housework, but what the hell!

I just wanted to say that I'm in the UK and pre-ordered my Twilight DVD through HMV and Amazon (a mistake I didn't see), but neither had Rob's bite marks on it. It might be if you ended up buying it on the day it came out on April 6th that has the bite marks on it, just to clear up the news though, it's not true with preorders as far as I know
