omg i never realized that harry had a heart attack b/c of seth and leah turning into wolves!!!!! i cant believe i didnt notice that....thts so sad :( but your right...how can they have harry clearwater in it and not his kids...especially if he has a heart attack after seeing his kids turn into werewolves?

well i dont know for a fact but it makes perfect sense so i just have a feeling that thats the reason why....something had to have caused the heart attack and since leah was like the first female wolf he probably freaked out or something.....i would really like to figure out if thats why he did have a heart attack though...someone will have to ask stephenie meyer!

Well, Leah is a bit older than Jacob so I think Harry would be a bit older than Charlie plus Harry is an elder of the tribe.

Seth and Leah aren't really key characters in New Moon. They are casting to Eclipse after the filming for New Moon is over . . . which is when they'll be cast I'm sure.

This is going to bea GREAT movie. I love Graham Greene, he is an excellent actor. The list of actors just keep getting better and better!

I can't complain on the actor, he is awesome, but honestly why do they need a harry clearwater, i can only think of one scene in the book you actually see him in, and honestly if they take the trouble to cast him then they should cast the rest of the family. Like is said don't get me wrong, love the guy and think he's perfect for the part.

I would have pictured him better as old Quil... You know in Eclipse telling some of the old legends, and the Third wife with Billy, but I guess old Quil is older so I'm sure he will be great for Harry... I'm really enjoying the authenticity of the cast... so freaking happy :)

ok I saw a movie with him in it a while back and was like he has to be in NEW MOON! He is perfect and is a good actor as well so WOO HOO cannot wait till november!!!!!

I admit I wanted Wes Studi or Eric Schweig but Graham Greene was my third choice.

I adore Graham he is a brilliant actor and will be perfect. He was also in the mini-series Into The West. A lot of our native actors were on that show. Tinsel, Chaske, Graham.

Wes Studi would've been great. It's so nice to see so many people on here recognize these actors! I've seen a lot of native american movies, and now I feel I have to watch some over (Into the West) because I don't recall Tinsel, Chaske, etc. I don't know who's left to cast in the Quileutes, but I think Adam Beach would've made a great addition.

And one of my votes for Sue Clearwater would be Tantoo Cardinal. I really liked her in Dr. Quinn.

I think he'll do great, but something about him reminds of Billy.

Okay why Harry and not Sue or Leah and Seth? they were at the spagehtti (sp) party where Sue tells Harry he should eat something green and healthy.

I didn't really picture harry to look like him but he was great in the Green Mile so I'm happy :D

Brilliant choice. Putting such a heavy weight in the role will presumably mean a bigger on screen presence than the book presence. He gets talked about in the book but hardly features. But I guess that is how you adapt a book - turn it visual. ******* Spoiler (can't imagine anyone reading this who wouldn't know the book backwards but jic...Harry's death wouldn't have the same effect uless you see the impact it has with at least a scene with Charlie and Harry being friends, then a hospital scene.
