Well, I feel kindda terrible saying this cuz I'm one huge fan of Jalice..but when it comes to off-screen, I think Ashley and Kellan make the better couple. I dunno, maybe because they are alwayes together, and have been friends way before Twilight.. they just seem so close and have the best of fun together. If I root for Ashley and Jackson sometimes it's because Jackson has some feelings for her,IT SHOWS and he even said it in an interview, you can tell it's sincere. . On the other hand Kellan never seems to think of her beyond friend, but again Ashley seems to enjoy his company more, I can't say it's love but obviously she has something for him (not to forget how she keeps saying he IS her personal EDWARD!)

This interview was done the week Twilight came out on DVD. The previous article about Ashley and that Ian What's-His-Face guy being together was more recent, as recent as Jackson's last conert.

So I don't think the interview messed up her words at all. I'm still confused as to who she's with though. If this article is True, is the other one False?

This article was from Australia. The twilight DVD comes out on April 22nd in Australia, so that's why they said the DVD was coming out this week. The article is dated April 19th.

So this interview was conducted before she even started shooting NM. Can't remember exactly when that was... Late last month maybe?

Anyway, I'm a little skeptical about this interview too, I don't know if I trust the Herald Sun 100%, not the most credible source... I'd love to hear this from Ashley herself.

As to her using the word "mum" this is probably just a misspelling of the word. The interview was with a newspaper from Australia, where everyone says and spells it "mum." The writer most likely just spelled it like they normally would. Just like a British writer would probably quote an American as saying "centre" or "colour" even though, in writing, that is not how Americans speak.

There is going to be a site called www.eclipsemovie.org it's under construction now, I do not know however, if they are going to run this site still. I'm gonna call BS on this one. I mean, they quoted Ashley, a southern girl, using the word 'mum'. Americans don't use that word except for the flower. And she apparently already has a boyfriend. Methinks that yet again a celeb's words were taken out of context to sell the story better.

The article is for one of the major Australian newspapers. The word Mom is not used in Australia and would be seen as a spelling mistake so I assume they spelt it for their readers to understand. Though as a direct quotation they probably should have put (Mum) in brackets instead.
