They'd better start realizing that ALL women love romance and love the Twilight books. In my family it starts with my niece who is 16 and goes all the way up through her 40 + mom (my sister) and my other sisters and I who are in our late 50's! We may be old, but we're not dead! LOL You'd have to be in the grave not to recognize a great love story and Edward is the perfect "man" evidently for every age. Not that we don't love Jacob! But we are basically somewhere between Team Edward and Team Switzerland. We were so happy for Taylor Lautner when he got the role in New Moon, he is adorable and sweet, but I can recognize for many younger women (I don't mean just teens) he is just as Brooke says "outrageously attractive for a 17 year old".

Rest assured, over-50 women aren't planning to stalk Rob Pattinson (except in our dreams-ha), but we are completely hooked on the saga, the actor and on the movies. I've never followed a movie being made so closely before, although I've always been a total movie addict. So now that I've "outed" myself, I hope I won't be criticized because, you will find that no matter how old you get, on the inside you remain about 22 all your life.

Well, Twilight was written by a Cougar! Everyone can relate to true love no matter your age. These books have fans of all ages, which I think is truely wonderful, because that doesn't happen often. It has crossed the Generational lines and it has touched so many people.

Does it matter any way? Realationships in hollywood are not likely successful and that is just a fact. Hectic schedules i think probably make it hard for any of these stars to have a serious relationship, so if something is going on, there either just uh shall i say enjoying them selfs or there just having fun hanging with each other and connecting on some level.

These Rob-Kristen rumors are really rather incredibly lame. First you have Summit, this little inky-dinky movie company that before got no respectability suddenly being the Lords of the all things conspiracy related. No one would want to be with anyone if it takes reinventing the wheel to be with them. If you have to have everyone in your pay just so you can talk to each other, that's hardly worth it. But I do know conspiracy sells, and fills up empty time while interviews and clips aren't being put out yet. But it's still quite freaky and pathetic.

I think it's often easy to forget that movies are fake. That what you see on screen is carefully orchastrated. It's easy to get lost in it, just as it is easy to fall into the world created by a book. It seems real, it feels real, but it's not real. All the "romance" of movies is carefully planned out. It's not like Rob and Kristen are sitting together alone in a bedroom as they slowly move in for the first kiss. No, there is a massive crew, right next to them. And the crew isn't even 10 feet away, but practically on the bed with them. You have the director, the boom operator right over them, the camera man, and the lighting tech all huddled together to capture that "intensity", "chemistry" that they've carefully crafted for the movie. Rob and Kristen weren't dancing alone in a gazebo, there was a camera right in their faces. That's not romance, that's work.

You can see the lame-ness, for lack of better word, if you reverse the situation. Rob's film Little Ashes is coming out. Many people have commented on his "chemistry" with Javier. Well are they really in love? They have chemistry after all. They may have shared a few meals together, walked down the street together to get to the restaurant.

Fan: You have intense chemistry with Javier...it's incredible.

Rob: Thanks...

Fan: Are you two an item?

Rob: Uh! No...uh...the movie was about Dali and Lorca...you see...uh...*giggle*

Kristen was told to call up Michael and have him drive up in a black SUV so he could grab Javier's ex-girlfriend as she exited the cab and Nikki would escort Javier into the lobby where you waited with Kristen so you could throw off the the press that you and Kristen are together, possibly three-waying with Nikki so really you could hide that you're actually secretly seeing Javier.

Rob: You're serious aren't you?

Fan: It's the truth right? Lainey...Ted C. Why are you hiding?

Rob: I'm NOT GAY!

Fan: Sure, sure. Well have to thought about becoming gay? Hmmm? You have some wicked chemistry with Javier. I think I know what's best for you Rob. I see it. I saw the movie.

Good point! But, there is a BIG difference because in the past Robert has spoken openly about having a crush on Kristen and even said he could fall in love w/ her when he was asked by Ryan Seacrest, so I think there is validity in the possiblity of a K and R relationship being a reality. There is hope!

Well true, there is hope. But you're also cherry picking facts when you take snippits out of interviews out of context. I do know the interview you're mentioning, but Rob also ended it all joking and saying "I really just like to make her life difficult." and then go on to talk about how the strange things in movies was doing this stuff with your co-stars, and then walking away and feeling you really don't know them at all because you've been portraying characters and the characters emotions.

Rob is nothing if not sarcastic and sardonic most of the time. I think apparently that can be a hard trait for people to recognize and call out as sincerity. I've seen people freak out when Rob sarcastically remarked to an interviewer "I only have like two scenes in New Moon!" and everyone was all upset. When it was clear that he was being just facitious and not meaning any of it literally.

But, if fans want to point out all the times Rob said he crushed on Kristen (which is a safe answer--who in the movie-world ever talks down their co-star? I'd love to see someone be all "That girl!? I'm dreading the fact I have to make three more pictures with her! Talk about buzz-kill! I wonder if I can get out of my contract...") then you have to also take into account the same number of interviews Rob has done where he has over and over denied being in love with Kristen. The interviews where Kristen has said over and over that she loves her boyfriend, she likes Rob as a friend but she is not going to romantically be with him.

Umm. You have a point but there is a difference between possibilities and stupidity or blindness. Rob's a man and KStew's a woman so they're likely to fall in love. In the other hand, Rob's a man and Javier's a man, too, and we all know that Rob isn't gay so what's the point of it?
Rumors are created because we AREN'T sure of something or we don't know the TRUTH but there is a possibility that, that rumor is TRUE. That's why people try to know what is really the truth. In the other hand, being stupid is when you know it's unlikely to happen and there's no truth in it and yet, you still believe in it. Period. :)

First, I too am thrilled that people are realizing Twilight is not just for the teens. I work in a high school and tons of our students are reading the books, but so are half the women on staff! I'm a mom, I'm in my 30's and I am in love with Rob Pattinson. It started with a crush on Edward but now it's a fuul blown Rob obsession and I'm not afraid to admit it!
