My brothers eyes go from brown to green depending on what the shirt is he has on. The earth tones tend to bring out the brown more.

I don't see that they're different. They're just more obvious in the "older" one, probably cuz of lighting or whatever. And are his eyes hazel? I know some fan will know off the top of their heads :) I know my son's eyes are hazel, with more brown then green but they look different in pics sometimes too

I think they are most likely the same.....the lighting will just make certain colours more obvious....my daughter, who is now 7, used to have brown eyes without too much depth then all of a sudden they seemed less brown and more green. Now I look at her and in some light her eyes look brown but in most light they look hazel with green on the outside edges of the iris gradually turning to brown right around the pupil. Hazel eyes can change more than any other colour depending on light and the colour that the person may be wearing.
