I don't know if any of you guys are fans of Blythe dolls, but I found the most gorgeous Twilight doll I have ever seen! WAYYYY better than these dolls. It's modeled after Alice Cullen. Here is the link for whoever wants to check her out.

Hi. I'm actually the lucky owner of this beautiful Alice Cullen custom Blythe doll. She was made for me by the incredibly, wicked-awesome talented Melacacia (who you can find on Flickr). In addition to her gorgeous custom dolls, Melacacia is a professional photographer, and since her photo was being used here, I wanted to make sure she was properly credited and notified.

Ironically, I thought of having custom Twilight-themed Blythe dolls made for me after viewing the Tonner dolls and thinking they were kind of scary looking. That doesn't look like him imo. That doll looks so... pale and feminine and like he's wearing makeup. The only thing that stands out is the hair, like you only see that because it's so shiny and long. Weird... Dolls never look good and right anyway, so that's no exception here.

Twilight Poison is mis-informed. These are not the factory-screened Tonner dolls, they are repaints by a doll repaint artist who is not affiliated with Tonner in any way. The "Jacob" doll is actually a repainted Basic Matt O'Neill and was not manufactured as a Jacob Black doll. The Edward and Bella dolls in the picture ARE the Edward and Bella dolls by Tonner but the artist has removed the factory paint and completely repainted their faces. That is why they do not look like the pictures on Tonner's website.

Oh God, what a travesty! Maybe I'm just biased because I have never liked dolls, but this is just awful. The "Bella" doll looks like a 60-year-old Poison Ivy doll and the "Jacob" doll looks like Little River of the Cherokee Tribe. I wish companies wouldn't try to model these dolls after real people because it ends up just being a laughable immitation.

I don't have a tonner doll because it is a bit pricey, however, I'll be the first one to admit I have my own mini Edward (the action figure from Borders) at home. :x The walk to the counter with the doll in hand was a looong one. I thought I would die of embarrassment! haha Luckily for me, the cashier was a major Twilight fan and talked my ear off for a good 5 minutes about the series. So, it wasn't so bad after all! :p
