Kellan Lutz Confident of Script, Chris Weitz, “Even Better than Twilight”

Kellan Lutz Twilight There’s a brief new interview with Kellan Lutz, where he voices his confidence in the New Moon script as well as director Chris Weitz’s performance so far–

“We have an awesome cast, like the first one,” he said. “I love the script. The book was a little slow for me at the beginning, but this script, I like it even better than Twilight.”

The actor is also enjoying working with director Chris Weitz, who made American Pie and The Golden Compass.

“It’s really nice to have someone take the weight onto their shoulders, as the first movie, Twilight, was for us,” Kellan said. “There’s a lot of pressure on Chris. In the first week of rehearsals he had every question ready for an answer.

    Yes, finally a new post. I am very much looking forward to the new movie. With all the new cast interviews about the New Moon, it sounds like it is going to be amazing. I hope the movie is better than the book, New Moon was my least favorite in the series. I was slightly disappointed with Twilight the book was way better, I hope the opposite is true with New Moon.

    I don't know whether to believe they've just all been told to say that the script is amazing or if it actually is because they all seem to be saying that it is. It better be as good as they're saying. haha.

    I wonder that too. I am sure they are prepped in some way to come out and say the script is awesome...but they've all said it, and I think there's something to be said about the power of positive thinking! If they've got their hearts in it, it'll be great!

    Of COURSE it's gonna be even better than Twilight...There's no doubt in my mind about that. I just wish November would hurry the hell up and get here already! The suspense is killing me!

    As much as I'm happy about all the new interviews, they aren't really telling me anything new. I'm so waiting for new set pictures, or ... yeah, maybe someday some actual official stuff to obsess about.

    New Moon is going to rock, Like I have said a zillion times before Chris Weltz will do an amazing job, only thing is we have to wait til the 27th November for it to come out. A whole week is going to kill me.

    I was supposed to get my Twilight DVD today from Amazon....IT DIDNT COME!!!! How enraged am I! Luckily I pre-ordered it on itunes, downside it has no bonus features!!! BOO!!!

    I know, It was shipped on Saturday so I don't know why it hasn't arrived. Either Amazon or our postal service is getting a butt whopping. Plus the rest off the "House Of Night" books I ordered aren't being delivered til September because they are not released here yet... double boo! And the "Blue Blood" book still hasn't arrived...triple boo! LMAO

    Lame, lame and more lame. Well at least you will have the Blue Blood books (or at least the first maybe the second) to hold you while you wait for the House of Night books. I feel for you D!

    Well its not like we didnt know the movie is going to be AMAZING but we also know that all the actors like the script so that just makes it even more exciteing:)

    I LOVE YOU KELLAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He does a really great job as Emmett...he was the exact person i saw in my head while reading the books. He is so down to earth and really has a good head on his shoulders. He has good taste and he knows whats good....so if he says that the New Moon Script is good...im pretty sure that means that its good. The fact that he is really funny, sensitive, and gives good insight when asked a question makes him a reasonable human being and totally ups his hotness factor to a wopping 435. He read the script and hes telling us that its good, I believe him. Because of his character....all fans/skeptics will be able to trust him.

    and i really loved the book although its really tragic and hope they'll really bring it out that bella broke.. and really believed edward when he said he didn't want her.. they both should've known better than that..

    *crosses fingers* I always get excited to hear the cast say that NM will be way better than Twilight b/c the script is really good.... I hope this is true and that NM will be as good as the book =]

    There's no doubt in my mind that New Moon will kick butt....I mean they've got such a bigger budget than Twilight did.... of course it's gunna rock. I can't wait for November to get here. I'm completely stoked.....

    I think it probably is a good script and fortunately they have a lot more money to work with. I am hoping that NM is better than Twilight because Twilight disappointed me...

    Totally agree with you. Twilight was a little disappointing to everyone on some level I think. I have high hopes though :)
