is something funny we were disappointed with everything in twilight, the hair, the clothing, the makeup and the almost the movie in general, but we still are obsessed with those guys and we are moving forward to new moon hopefully everything change now, but i see the improvement.

Ok . . .this is the LAST time I'm going to say this . . . his hair wasn't RIGHT in Twilight. He looked like he had a bad perm from the 80's. At least now he looks true to the era he was "changed" in. He was a Civil War soldier. Back then they wore their hair like this with the sideburns . . . look it up in your history book or on-line or go watch "Gone With the Wind." It looks 100X better than it did in Twilight. True to the book, which is what any fan of the books would want!

I have a theory that this image was taken right after he went into his blood-lust at the birthday party, so they may have done something to make him look more crazy then what we might see in the rest of the movie.
I don't know for sure as I was not there and am not an insider, but you never know...

I think Jackson's hair is styled like that because in Twilight it's pushed back, and for Sokka didn't he shave the side of his head? So they had to style it like that so it would--somewhat--flowed with the continuity. I kind of don't like it but it will probably grow on me. Ditto with Peter's makeup. I love how Nikki's wig looks (from what you can see.)
Yes! Alice's hair is black! But didn't it look straightened? It seems like an "Alice" type of thing, so it isn't really out-of-character. Can't wait to see Nikki and Kristen's outfits.

It's unbelievable how sweet they are! I mean they're all huge stars now since staring in Twilight, so they could have run away in their big SUVs... but instead they came out to meet the fans! Wow. They're amazing. I like the fact that actually took the time to do this, it's an other good reason to lo love them even more!!!!!

Jackson is wearing a wig for this movie because of his hair being cut for the Avatar movie. It looks better like this anyway . . . it looked too stiff and weird in Twilight.

I am Mandy - the one who did the videos - Esme and Emmet were not there, we think they slipped out a bit earlier... as did Victoria and Laurent. Perhaps certain scenes wrapped sooner?!?!

I think they all look fabulous - and remember we had 7am lighting and in the movie they will have special movie lighting which will drastically improve the looks :P

Lastly - someone asked about if they were arriving or leaving? It was an overnight shoot so they were leaving at 7am and had done lunch about midnight.

As far as the wigs are concerned, I love Jasper's hair much better like that, the wig in Twilight looked ridiculous. I loved Alice's hair a lot in twilight but this black wig looks good too, Ashley's so cute anyway, any wig would fit her ;) Peter's wig though, I find real bad. It looks more grey than blond, it looks more natural but it's still awful pulled back that way and he looks much older like that.

I liked the looks in Twilight, and now everyone looks appropriate for their characters in New Moon. I'm not sweating anything...you all know I keep comparing this Saga to the Harry Potter movies (and there will be seven--no EIGHT--of those!), and in each movie, Harry has completely different hair.
I need to say this folks...I just think we need to start realizing New Moon isn't going to be the same as Twilight (& some of you say that's good), and NONE of the movie versions will ever be the books page for page and scene for scene--it just doesn't work that way creatively. We become intimately active participants in creating the Twilight world as we read the books--we all become Bella since it's written in her voice. wow they r sooooooooooo nice 2 get outts the car 2 take pics and hug those fans!!! :) they seem like such nice ppl who just have very devoted fans that would wait all nite just 2 get a glimpse of them, but that's not all they got!! :) they really r nice, i just wish the media would stop trying 2 bring up dramam btwn all of em n leave them alone!!! The twilight cast r sooooooooooooooo polite and gracious, i hope they all sty that way!!!! :) those girls r soooooo lucky though, looks waiting all nite paid off 4 them, lol

Oh that is so nice of them, They are such beautiful sweet people! I liked Jasper's hair in Twilight better though... & i didnt think they would change anyone's hair to much because as a vampire it's not like your hair is going to keep growing...lol so i just gathered all the vampire's would look the same. Oh well he is still gorgeous & adorable either way!

i think that they all look good. just think this is after they got done shooting so some of their hair might be messed up from doing it. i mean cuz Jackson has to attack Bella during the birthday scene so that might be why his hair is all over the place...from the scuffel. in Twilight they had Peter actually die his hair for the part...i wonder why the didn't do that this time? i think that kristen's hair looks better, i wonder if they took out the hair piece and just made her own natural hair look fuller. they all look great either way!!

I just want to know what the Cullen house looks like. Is it a modern monstrosity like in Twilight the movie or is it more like the white house in the book? I'm so curious about that. They seem to be getting everything else right, I just hope they get that right, too. The cast looks awesome. Carlisle is beautiful and Jasper looks amazing (love his hair). Kristen, Ashley, Nikki; and, of course, Rob look so good. All of the cast could take a page out of Peter F's book. He's absolutely so polite, courteous to the fans and just plain thoughtful. He's just the greatest!!!!!

There's something that bugs me with this story.. Obviously, Peter is a true gentleman.. They are rare these days.. But I must say, Rob disappointed me a little.. I mean, I'm aware that he's followed by girls and paps all the time and of course that's annoying and stressful.. But this time, there were only four girls out there there freezing and waiting all night just to get a glimpse of him .. I don't know, my thoughts are that it wouldn't have killed him if he just got out for a minute to properly greet these girls.. I don't know if anybody agrees with me, it just seems to me it would have been a nice thing to do.. I'm sure he was tired from filming all night, but so was Peter and he made these gals very happy by coming out to say hi.. Don't get me wrong, I am a Rob fan, but this I don't like..

I don't know that I agree with you that he "should have come out to properly greet them" but I do agree that this says something. The fact that he also uttered "you guys are crazy" on top of the fact that he didn't get out of the car to me, makes it seem like (at least that particular morning) he was not into the hoopla and couldn't understand why girls WOULD wait out all night in the cold and rain just to see him/them for 34 seconds. Yes, it would not have killed him to get out of the car- I can see that. But if you think of all the trillions of times everyday that people expect him to stop everything he is doing to take pics, shake hands, sign autographs, give hugs, etc- I for one would get tired of that. Yes I know these are actors, and these things are expected to happen to them. But for someone who isn't what I would call a 'Hollywood veteran', I would imagine that it gets old real quick, when you still maybe aren't fully used to it. Everyone seems to be LOLing over the fact that he said you guys are crazy- and that I don't understand. Even if he said it while laughing, or with a huge smile on his face, he still said YOU GUYS ARE CRAZY!

I don't know, I have mixed feelings about set stalking, and bothering him while he's eating, etc. I myself, was just up in Vancouver and would have LOVED to run into him somewhere. But at the same time, I do feel like some of the girls around the city need to give him some space, and not lurk around restaurants for hours while he's eating, or walking down the street. I think all of the cast of New Moon has been very polite and gracious about fans, etc- but there are some actors that if you take a step back, and really analyze things they have said, and body language, etc- it really doesn't appear that they are 100% into people bothering them all the time. A job is a job. Even if it's a glamourous job that consists of flying around the world, making films, meeting fans, having people scream your name, shopping, being photographed while hitting up Starbucks- etc- I would think to some of these people after a while, they just want their space and to be able to quietly leave work *or a movie set, and go home and crash.
I feel for both parties- the actors and the fans. I was in West Hollywood last year, and saw a very big actress while she was shopping, and would have loved to get a pic, but watching her give dirty looks to other fans that were definitely following her around and bothering her, roll her eyes, and sigh, made me think twice. At first, I thought she was being super bitchy, but then I heard her tell her friend- "God, I can't even buy fu*cking shoes anymore."

At the same time I can understand as a fan- most likely your run in with that star is a once in a lifetime opportunity- so of course most of us would jump on the chance to get a pic, say hi, etc. It's a lose lose situation for some people.

I guess the bottom line is maybe some of us should think twice about where we see celebs out and about- and really decide if its an appropriate time to bother/interrupt them.

Well Ashley didn't get out of the car either. How do you know it wasn't Ashley who didn't want to greet them? Maybe Rob suggested they stop the car and Ashley was all, "Oh hell no, I'm tired and cold." Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Ashley's, just trying to play the Devil's advocate.

Besides, they don't *HAVE* to do anything. If they want to get out and say hi to fans, that's really sweet, but they don't have to do it. And like you said, those girls were waiting there to get a glimpse of him. They got what they waited for. He was gracious enough to roll the window down and say hello.

oh i know that they don't have to do anything.. i'm not judging.. i was just thinking of rob in terms of being a gentleman and show some chivalry towards the ladies out there instead of just waving from the car and shouting at them how crazy they are.. anyway, i'm not accusing them, i just thought that as a man, it would be nice of rob to shake their hands at least..

The thing is it is a snap decision.
And they could've been camping in front of his house but he isn't obliged to get out to greet them just because they were freezing. Those girls got more than they bargained for.
Rob was grabbed, hugged, screamed at enough, and he was a gentleman throughout those crazy situations.

It's always like this, once you don't go to talk to the fans and people notice and you're a dissapointment and not gentlemen enough.
But everyone forgets how many times he did that.

Of course, I forgot to mention that Jasper was also a gentleman..

Carlisle's hair looks totally weird. it looks like he has a wig on...I've heard they're not really using gel this time and you can tell their hairstyles are a little different like edwards and awkwardly different like Jaspers but I hope it looks more natural, or at least a little better in the movie.

I have a lot higher hopes for this movie but it seems that the costumes and makeup are A LOT different. Is it just me or dies Edward sorta look like a clown? I'm mean, I love him just as much as the next girl but...

Lucky, Lucky girls...I love how the entire cast seems to be down to earth and appreciate the fans especially peter... he is such a sweetheart. I love the way the all look. I like jasper's hair better than the gelled stuck to his head look.. lol.. but thats just me. I can't wait for the movie.

do you mean all the mags talking about the "love triangle"?? cuz if so, that was totally made up...they were all talking about some fight that supposedly happened at the 100 monkeys concert between kristen and nikki over rob, which is funny since rob didn't even go to the concert lol if that's not what you meant than ignore this lol =P

btw, kristen and michael are completely happy from every report that i have heard...plus a bunch of interviewers have been asking about rob and nikki getting together, and the whole cast (including rob and nikki) just laughed about it and said it was completely untrue =D

I hate this whole Rob/Kristen, Nikki/Rob crap. There's been millions of interveiws where Rob says he isn't dating anyone, especially Nikki. And I wish people would leave the Rob/Kristen thing alone. They're not going to get together just because fan want them too. I feel bad for them though. It's like they can't even look at each other off set or people start sutomatically assuming they're secretly dating. It's annoying. No offense to any "shippers" or anything, but you guys can get painfully annoying.

how can you not like them for something so simple??? they are all adults, and they all started smoking long before Twilight...you can't expect them to quit just because their movie is doing so well! what they do in their personal time is their business...the only reason anybody knows they smoke in the first place is because nobody is respecting their privacy...and if anyone is actually impressionable enough to start smoking just because the cast does, then they have a much bigger problem to worry about!!!

i know taht they went more with the wigs in this film because of actors hair falling out and everything(bleaching your hair and on top of that fixing up the roots while shooting a movie takes a harsh toll on your hair). but in the first movie i liked that they used their actual hair for the hairstyles...it looked more real.
but...hopefully it won't look as bad in the movie.
and i still don't like the new contacts.
