Hair and makeup seems so much better for New Moon. I think Chris Weitz will make an awesome movie. Twilight was great, but makeup was poor, you can could see that it was makeup and it's not supposed to be like that. Rob's ears were red and the necklines were darker than the face and it all looked more fake than it should be in a movie. Besides that, everything else was perfect in Twilight and I love Catherine Hardwicke, she has captured the spirit of the book. I love her for that, also for casting Rob!! He is the perfect Edward. I think she could have chosen some other actress for Bella, like the girl from Gilmore girl (she looks younger for her age and could play a 17-year-old. When I read the book, she came first to my mind, even her character in gilmore girls is similar to Bella, shy, introverted, but showed strength and maturity, and she's pretty but she does not know it)

Hey...I saw pics the other day of that girl that plays Angela (when she's not in character) and she is really pretty...like model pretty. The way they make her look in the movie doesn't do her justice...but I guess that how Angela is supposed to look like--plain and simple.
On another note, ROB looks DAMN GOOD on and off set, with clothes and without (Little Ashes), clean and dirty.
TAYLOR LAUTNER is also very good looking but unfortunately he's too young for me to appreciate without feeling creeped out --since he's still a minor and I'm not. But hey---when he turns 18 I'll, let the drooling begin! LOL :p

RE: The scene being filmed. In the book Bella drives herself to school the next 3 days after the party. Why are they standing next to Edwards Volvo? And he doesn't talk to her on the second day at all. The third day he only talks to her at the end of school when asks her if he can come over. This is probably a combination of the three days since they cant show all 3. At any rate, Im glad they will include the distancing phase.

The make up looks good, I think, it's only a picture. I just hope it looks better than in Twilight. Whoever was the make up artist forgot to apply it to his neck and the back of his neck. I could tell in the theatres it was a bad make up job, but on my Blue Ray, you can really see how bad it is.
The contacts look great. The hair looks just a little messy for Edward, but I do like it a little shorter than in Twilight.

And I love that his hair is untidy, I always imagined it that way, I think Bella mentioned it in the books. Edward always runs and his hair get's dishevelled from the wind.
And the contacts, you can acutally SEE them even from a distance.

Jacob/Taylor is probably there because they either had to shoot some scenes with him later or they had already shoot scenes with him and he just decided to hang there.
They can't change the movie THAT much.

Don't worry about the hair color...it's actually right. The lighting and graphic effects they will use in editing will change the colors I imagine. Bronze is really not brown - it really is lighter like how Rob's hair is here! I'm SO EXCITED!!!

I agree with you, even on these shots that aren't in focus he looks much better, more natural, for a vampire, if you know what I mean, and the eyes really stand out. So imagine what he is going to look like on the big screen after all the post production and lighting is done.

In Twilight some scenes made him look like he was dragging up! This is giving me so much hope for a better movie, I can't wait.

I was there today, it was soooooooooooo amazing to see them filming!!! Where we were standing you could see the action, I saw Rob a few times, his skin was so pale white . . . he looked lovely & vampirish!! We saw Kristen, and also Taylor, who took a moment to wave to all of us! What an awesome, awesome day, I'm so glad I got to experience it!!!!
We were not allowed to take any photos, we were told repeatedly that if they saw a camera or cell phone, we would all be kicked off the set, so we all obeyed the rules, so we could stay. (obviously!)
Wow, what an experience to see something you love unfold right before your eyes . . . it's a day I'll not soon forget!!

Rob looks gorgeous, as always, but in my opinion better. I like his hair shorter like this than longer. At times in Twilight it was too long and looked kind've feminine in a way. I know so many Rob fans like it long, but I think Rob looks much more handsome with it a little shorter because you can focus more on his chisled features and beautiful smile.

The "humans" look much nicer, too! All of them seem much more attractive in these pictures than in Twilight.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Twilight, but I am more and more convinced that New Moon is going to be even better!

Okay not to burst any bubbles but why is Jacob at Bella's school? The only time Jacob showed up at Forks High was in Eclipse and he was riding his motorcycle. The only parking lot scene in the movie was when Bella argued with Edward and Alice about having a party for her birthday.

I am pretty sure that Jacob/Taylor had long hair in Eclipse. They are not going to send Taylor off set for two days of shooting. They may not be filming in order either so they could be filming two things at once. While they are filming the "humans" Taylor and Kristen could be filming something else. Who knows. Yeah, the scene were he takes her pictures to mail them. I think you're right!

It would explain why she doesn't look happy in the shot. (more tired but whatever works)
