I totally agree- it was so chopped up. They almost showed more clips of the original movie than any new information. I would love to see the full interviews.

boy I sure hope so. I was reading on-line that they were going to do the reunion in Italy differently than it was done in the book. The reunion was like one of my favorite parts in New Moon....I guess I just have to have faith that they will get it right?

i know!!! i am scared to death that the reunion scene where she is running to him and she crashes into him and he thinks he's in heaven is going to get messed up!! that was my favorite scene in the book, cuz when she saw him i was like "wheewwww" *sigh of relief*; it was so sweet and for team edward, it was a big scene cuz we all miss him. if they change it, i doubt it will be for the better. also, what do they mean by "making edward scarier?!" i don't want edward to be scarier, cuz he's not scary. she still loves him, and her dreams should be sad, not scary. idk. that was just my take on the book.

What I really want to know though is, they are obviously interviewing them at the movie theatre set - Why is Rob there? Edward can't be there, they can't change the story that much. I hope they're not replacing Mike with Edward in that scene. ET keep talking about the love triangle, I hope thats just them, as people who probably haven't read the books, just hyping things up and not a hint of the direction they're taking the story in. There is no love triangle, it was always Bella and Edward, evn when she waivered it was only very slight and she was never serious about it.

Taylor and Kristen were probably filming then and Rob was called so they can interview all of them at the same time.
Just because he is interviewed in the movie theatre it doesn't mean they are changing the story. So I think there's no need to worry about that.

And ET is just making a hype with love triangle, they don't know anyting about NM. They were there, for two days maybe. They are just using the obvious to promote their show. I don't pay any attention to that at all.

As for the love triangle. New Moon is the begining of the Love Triangle with Bella, Jacob and Edward. Its more prominate in Eclipse, but this is where we getto to see Bella and Jacob's relationship grow. Even tho Bella doesn't realize she is in love with Jacob untill the end of Eclipse, New Moon is when she falls in love with him.

About the dream i think it may be about the dream bella had on twilight when she discovers that edward is a vampire, and she sees him as scary, but doesn fear him.on new moon she had the same dream when jacob ask her to find out what he is, and she remembers the wolf atacking edward in that dream and that she was affraid that edward, despites being a vampire was hurt. The book says that in that dream edward was pretty scary, but she didnt fear him

I also would prefer an unedited version of these interviews instead of these "leading" and "sensational" short clips. Secrets from the set, my butt. Seriously do these ppl who edit this show not realize that with the HUGE fanbase Twilight have and well these actors have, and also with Internet playing such a huge part on WHERE the fans get their info. That their "secrets" aren't that secrets anymore? How the media still can act like it is 1990 something is beyond me when it comes to their "showbiz clips" type editing is beyond me.

I agree with Carmen, really there is never any love triangle, Bella is not in love with Jacob..she is just willing to settle with him..(I believe she references Romeo and Juliet, what if Romeo leaves, does she marry Paris?) She doesn't realize that she even loves jacob like that until the end of the third book..even then its not as strong as she loves Edward...I believe that the movie will probably make a bigger deal out of it, than it is in the book

Even Stephanie Meyer says that Bella falls in love with Jacob in New Moon. There is a love triangle. New Moon is the foundation for that Love triangle. Yes, the love is not as strong as with Edward. Yes, Bella doesn't *admit* it untill the end of Eclipse. But New Moon is where they fall in love.

SM explanation on why Bella doesn't realize it, is b/c she didn't recognize falling in love slowly. With Edward it was hard and fast. With Jacob it was slow and unexpected.

yeahh i watched last night and was very dissapointed... they tried to recap the last movie wayyy to much.. and barely focused on new moon and the interviews.. i think they should just show the uncutted version.. and take out all the fluff..

Not only was the "behind the scenes" choppy and quickly edited, it seemed to me like some of the actor's responses were taken out of context. I feel sorry for Rob, as the reporter reported crushed her bosom into his face when they sat down. His "Hello" seemed kind of strained, like "Please stop mashing your cleavage into me, I've just met you!"

Another thing I know that Stephanie Meyer gave alot of direction to the director of Twilight and even had a cameo in the movie. Does anyone know if she is doing the same thing for New Moon? Do you think her involvement helps keep the movie directors from straying to far from the book? If she is on set at times like she was with twilight I might not be so worried about it. Have anyone heard anything about it?

I don't think it means that Edward seems scary to Bella so much as he will seem scary to us. You also have to remember that it's not really Edward, it's what Bella is producing with her mind.

I really hate the fact that the videos are so short and choppy. We can't really get the overall of the movie and just little glimpses and short clips on the movie.
They should sacrifice videos from twilight and put real content!
I thought that the special ET was doing was going to be greater, but I guess not!
Anyways, this is the only thing we have so far, so we'll just have to stand the facts that they are going to be a 2 min clip.

Although them going with having Edward as a apparition isn't bad it kinda i think takes away from the whole point of her doing more and more destructive rebellious things to finally reach that point after jumping off the cliff into the water and having the hallucination of him as she thinks she's about to die. That and her having a dream of him being a demon/scary i thought that in all her dreams he's perfect in while she see's herself as flawed maybe I'm wrong though.

I don't know how many would agree with me, but as badly as I want to see more Edward in the movie, I really hope it doesn't take anything away from her despair for him being gone. Stephenie Meyer wrote it so perfectly and heartbreakingly, that I cried my eyes out reading New Moon. She made me miss him as much as Bella did, and I fear that the actual images of him will make this not as powerful. Anyone's thoughts? Maybe it's been discussed already...

Just read an article from PTI that states Robert is afraid that fame will ruin the relationships with the people that he loves.... especially those who aren't famous. It makes him a wreck. dude. i jsut realized what that clip was from the et special. the clip from new moon where jacob is talking to bella,next to stairs? quote "you like me right? im not giving up." that was from the part in the book where bella,jacob,and mike were at the movie,and mike got sick,so bella nad jacob were in the hall. how do i know? because another clip shows bella next to the stairs,and you see movie posters on the wal behind her, like one wold see at a movie theater. doesnt really mean much. but it shows some scene changes.

They tell you a lot more on the secrets, a segment just talking to Taylor about his training for the movie, the wolf pack, the motorcycles, his hair, they talk to kristen about the love triangle and the break up scene, a segment just about Rob... YAY!!!... He talked about getting prepared for the role and how to portray pain and anguish. He talked about doing a soundtrack for another movie but can't say what it is...new roles... I am so excited.

I don't know whether you guys have seen it but New Zealand got way more than this (Sunday 26th April). It showed lengthy parts of the interviews from Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson. Perhaps you've already seen it though and I'm just slow to catch up? All the footage together on the NZ ET show was about 10min though and none of it is what was posted here.

I am trying to remember all the new stuff. It is a much better piece as it doesn't jump around as much. Kristen talks about how they haven't filmed the break up scene yet and how it will be very difficult to film. In just talking about it in the interview she even gets quite intense herself. Rob talks about how important his music is to him and that he is currently composing music for a soundtrack but he can;t give out any more detalis. Also the interviewer talks about romantic comedy and if he will be working on anything in that direction. Rob says perhaps yes but even this new role ends up takiang a darker direction and both of then laugh about this. I'm trying to remember other info but unfortuneately I did not tape it. I am on satelite and am trying to find it in a different time zone so that I can watch it again but so far no luck. If I remember more I will drop a line. oh man you guys! weve seen only clips oof the interview so far on ET right? well i decided to turn on channel 2 just to check and taylor was on screen! ET was providing the interviews but more depth like full Q&A, i missed like half im sure cuz i turned it on 7.30 my time (CA)., i thought they werent goin to show more until monday! im lowkey pissed off bc i think i missed kristen talking. i really want to hear her talk!

I'm soooo happy I have DVR. I recorded the show just in case they showed something on Twilight. Low and behold....they show in depth interviews with Kristen, Rob and Taylor!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhh!!!! I think I love Taylor even more than before. And poor Rob, trying so hard to please the fans but he doesn't know what we want. Stop screaming at him, fans!!!! We're scaring him!!!! Let's not give Rob a nervous breakdown...

edward like a demon? why? i don't wanna see edward that way.. :c but if it's gonna be good for the movie as what they've said, then maybe it won't be that bad after all.. i just hope that with the other stuffs, they'll stick to the book.. as much as i want to see edward in new moon, i think missing him like in book would do the trick to really feel the essence of 'new moon' stephenie meyer made us feel.. i love new moon as it is..
