There’s another musician in the multi-talented new Moon cast. Jamie Campbell-Bower, who will play Caius of the Volturi in New Moon, played a show with his band The Darling Buds, and His Crooked Smiles was there to take photos and send in a report–

Jamie has an amazing voice (he sounds much older than he looks – maybe that’s good for Caius too?!) and the songs are definitely good – think Kings of Leon meets The Strokes – how can that be bad?!

He was really nice about our asking for photos (seemed to be enjoying it rather a lot actually, lol!), had a bit of a chat with us and was generally a really nice guy – if very young… I hope he can handle Hollywood and, more importantly, Twilighters!

Lutz, 24, said he had a lot of time for the fans.

“They’re so sweet and they’re so loving with us,” Lutz said.

“It’s always great to talk to them and see how their experience is watching movies.”

Lutz, who has also been romantically linked to co-star Ashley Green, described the film as a “golden ticket” but said he was amazed about some of the things that were said about him.

“I’ve got a lot of friends where if we go out … people will be like Kellan’s dating her now. Kellan has three girlfriends now,” he said.

“Soon I’ll be married to Britney Spears or something like that.”

Over the weekend, Lutz will make appearances at Twilight-themed proms in Sydney and Melbourne.

Right around the time of Twilight, a slightly younger looking New Moon star Taylor Lautner starred as the object of affection in this 2008 music video for Cassie Thomson. This is definitely a treat for Team Jacob fans!

James Mottram of The Independent has one of the best interviews with New Moon star Robert Pattinson that I have read yet. In it, he covers much of what he’s been up to over the last few months, including Little Ashes, his love life, fame, fans and general craziness. Check out this small portion–

According to Pattinson, he sees playing Dali as a turning point in his career. “To not betray or insult someone’s memory, it seemed a lot more important than other jobs I’ve done before,” he says. “I definitely felt I had a lot of freedom when I was doing for various reasons.” Still, how does he think the Twilight fans will react to his love scenes with Beltran? “I think girls” – at this point he can’t stop himself from a smutty chortle – “almost really like watching something like that. From what I’ve read, people really get excited about that – it sounds really sexy!”(Gozde: He SO reads internet fan pages and comments!)

Inevitably, since Twilight came out, speculation has surrounded Pattinson’s own love-life, linking him with numerous starlets, including 10,000 BC’s Camilla Belle. “I don’t really care about it,” he shrugs. “I have the same little set of friends and I don’t have anyone who would really get affected adversely [by false rumours]. Every single person who they sort of romantically link me to… I just don’t even really know anyone. So it doesn’t really affect me that much.” Is there any truth to the persistent rumour hooking him up with Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart? “Er, no,” he states. “I don’t understand where that even comes from.”

Hmm…Smutty Chortle could be the new Spunk Ransom….

Kellan Lutz will be starring in the new version of the horror classic A Nightmare on Elm Street, which instead of being yet another sequel, is a reboot the the series in the style of the new Star Trek movie. Is it just me, or do reboots seem all the rage in lieu of sequels nowadays? is it just code for “we promise this sequel won’t be sucky yet again”?

Not surprisingly, two actors from popular franchises are joining the horror flick: “Twilight’s” Kellan Lutz and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” Thomas Dekker.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lutz would play a “popular high school jock” and Dekker is on board as an “alpha male” attempting to get back together with his girlfriend.

Yeah, I can see Kellan Lutz as a popular high school jock. Just the other day I read a Letter to Twilight where he was described as the perfect big bro by a gay unicorn. (process that for a second). What do you think–will you go see this movie to see Kellan Lutz jocking it up?

A few TwiFans were lucky enough to get pictures with Ashley Greene and Rachelle LeFevre in Vancouver. I thought this section of their encounter was pretty funny, though–

We go in the hotel and who is there….Ashley Greene. It’s hysterical watching her surrounded by older ladies handing her cell phones to call their daughters. Ashley is laughing and leaving voice mails and calls.

How amazingly nice of her! Can you imagine how many she’s had to leave over the last few weeks?
