200904280724.jpg New Moon stars Kristen Stewart and Nikki Reed are working on a secret movie. It’s not quite as exciting as you may think, as it’s actually a movie which is a school project of Nikki Reed’s brother for film school at UCLA called The Glorification of Celebrities.

“I think fans with be able to see this,” she said of the flick, which the Reeds expect to graduate beyond the little-seen world of student films. “I am trying to be as involved as I possibly can. I think ‘Twilight’ was a wonderful thing for him to use [in the film], because it escalated quite quickly. It went from being this little tiny book series that none of the actors really knew anything about to this explosion that happened somewhere around the summer [of 2008]; I started walking outside and people started yelling ‘Rosalie!’”

“My brother has been following that,” she explained. “And it’s great because I know Kristen [Stewart] and he gets to speak with her. And he has a reason to travel with me now.”

“He has been interviewing a lot of fans as well,” she said of “Glorification,” which will focus not only on “Twilight” stars, but also on what fame does to other overnight sensations in Hollywood. “There is a Nikki Reed’s Mafia group [that will be in the doc] – and if you guys are watching, thanks. Because they show up everywhere with signs.”

I wonder how honest the documentary will be? If it actually features the unfiltered thoughts of Nikki and Kristen, I’m all in.

200904271818.jpgRobert Pattinson recorded a special greeting for fans of Twilight in Norway that attended the Twilight DVD release parties today. He recorded the message on the set of New Moon at what looks to be the same time as the Borders greeting that the cast recorded back in March.

Robert pattinson vancouver

Ok folks, here’s your Robert Pattinson for the day. The New Moon star returned to Vancouver from LA, and made the trek out to a local bar for some fun with Ashley Greene and Rachelle LeFevre last night.

Also, be on the lookout for this!–

And in more “New Moon” news, according to E!, Summit is about to release photos of Taylor which are said to similar to the shot of the shirtless wolf pack that delighted fans last week.

UPDATE: VanCityAllie has posted a story about the experience her friend that took this picture had over at her blog!–

  • Friend: It’s my birthday, I just had to come talk to you!
  • <Rob shakes her hand>
  • Friend: How do you like Vancouver?
  • Rob: Yeah it’s pretty nice!
  • Friend: It’s a lovely city. I just moved here myself.
  • Rob: Oh? Where from?
  • Friend: Saskatchewan… ever heard of it?
  • Rob: Yeah I’ve heard of it… I think I was just there a couple days ago. (We think he thought Squamish)

Melissa Rosenberg new Moon eclipse Melissa Rosenberg, who has written the scripts for Twilight and New Moon, has chatted to E! about some of her thoughts on the next three movies in the Twilight Saga. On New Moon, she confirms some of the changes we’ve been hearing director Chris Weitz talk about as far as Edward Cullen’s enhanced presence in the film–

“In the book, he’s actually an enormous presence in [Bella’s] mind,” Rosenberg said. “He’s so present in her mind throughout the entire center of the book, so we really played off that, and it kept him alive in a slightly different way, but fans will feel it’s true to the book. You can’t have a Twilight without Rob Pattinson.”

As for the violence in Breaking Dawn, Rosenberg seems to confirm that she will be working on a script, and will keep some of the fairly adult scenes toned down to earn a PG-13 rating:

And Rosenberg says you also can’t have a Twilight movie with anything more adult than a PG-13 rating. She has yet to be hired to write the script for the fourth, Breaking Dawn, but she thinks it’s safe to assume the book’s more graphic violent scenes will be tailored to keep it accessible for Twilight’s teen moviegoing audience.

“Our fans are in the PG age range, and I don’t feel a big necessity to see violence, and to see gore,” Rosenberg said. “I don’t need to see that. This whole series is more about their relationship. It’s not about the gore. I mean, there are some scary and special elements to it, but the series is really about relationships and coming of age and owning one’s power.”
