I think everyone has their own visual off how the Cullen house should look, I always imagined a victorian style house. I'm not judging anything yet, I suppose they have to keep with the flow off twilight. We'll just have to wait to see it in the film.

On another note I find it kind off creepy that people are sneaking about in the woods to get these pictures, this location was supposed to be secured off when filming. I'm guessing that now that it's finished up that they aren't using this location anymore. Which means the people who live there are back. So people should have some respect for the owners and not go around sneaking pictures off their house, it's private property.

OOh that was very serious off me, I think I need to go back to bed and get out off it on the other side to see if it makes my mood any better LOL

It was one thing for ppl to camp out and wait for them to finish shooting, and meet the actors. THAT I get, and trust me if I was in the area I would have been there too! LOL

But now that we ALL know shooting at the Cullen house is done for now .... why are ppl still trying to get pictures of it, and set stalking? the actors are gone ... this is someone's house ... have some respect.

I agree that's someone's house but it was for rent for the movie. Its owners do know there will be shots of it in the movie and that it might end up in magazines, papers, websites. They did accept that. It's not like people are taking shots of a random house with people still living in it. And the person who took the pics was not trespassing or anything, they were just driving slowly and stopping for one or two seconds. The owners do know their house is gonna be 'famous' and if they had any problem with that, that'd not be the new Cullens' house for NM. As long as people are not trespassing and bothering the owners...
I'd rather people take photos of a house the owners let be used for a movie than poeple take photos of actors in private life.

I'm sorry but your wrong, there was a a fan encounter posted the other day with girls who waited down the road from it to catch a glimpse off the cast, and they were rewarded for by Peter, Kristen and Nikki stopping and actually getting out off there SUV to thank them for being fans and waiting there in the cold all night. Those type off pictures I respect, they didn't hide behind trees taking pictures off somebodys house, especially after filming was done! That is a total invasion off privacy. Just because the rented they're house to a production company doesn't mean that they signed away they're right to privacy, that doesn't come with the contract. If it had off been done during filming fair enough, but the production people made sure they couldn't, so who ever took the pictures and video should have left it at that, but they didn't.

You are absolutely right! I couldnt agree more, some people just dont have any conscience at all or any concept of " the right to privacy", this is private property. While I do enjoy seeing pics and videos, somethings should be left to be seen in the movie...give the crew, the cast and the locations some space, please!

My legs hurt, my head hurts, I'm never climbing a mountain again, and it didnt' help me when I seen those pictures, if someone was taking pictures off my house I'd shove the camera where the sun doesn't shine LMAO. The people that own the house won't be able to go to the toilet without worrying if someone is sneaking around outside taking pictures. If it was down whilst filming was taken place then fair enough I wouldn't have said anything about it, but when the people are back in their own house, with their car in the driveway etc, it's just wrong.

What everyone has to remember is that the back of the Cullen house is all glass (windows). I have a feeling they used this location for the visual effect of the windows. I like the windows side and think it looks like it should as far as the back of the house goes.

Oh, and don't forget that they can CGI in things that they need to! Like they did for the first house (ie: the third floor and the landscaping).

it is way different from the 1st cullen house. i hope they will do an amazing job to make it look like it. they should just use the 1st house instead.

I always imagined the house long and rectangular with white wooden panelling and a balconny out front where Jake is alwayd standing in BD, but my sister said that the one in the moive was spot on. I think it just depends on someones own ideas, and we HAVE got to all appreciate the fact that not everything can be perfect, thats why stephenie did it as a book in the first place, so she could imagine as many unbelievable things as she wanted and we would be able to picture them in our minds.

Its like with the Cullen family, some people might not think they are th most beautiful people in the world-but whos to judge? Everyone has their own image of who is beautiful. And i just think we shouldn't be too picky with this. :)

It doesn't look like the one in twilight, i hope that it is because is from another point of sight than the one in twilight, that if we see from the front, it would look at least almost the same. If they change it why not do it at least for another house that look like the one that is describe in the book, and not for an other that is completely different.

I totally agree with you. Although I did like the Cullen house in Twilight and it did seem to fit with them it wasn't as described in the book. So if they were going to change it they should really have gone with the original description.

The house is supposed to be over a hundred years old, I imagined they had owned it since the first time they lived in Forks. To me it should have an old exterior but then would have been completely renovated and modernised inside with the big wall of windows and also lots of wood. Edwards bedroom was definately nothing like as described and I couldn't imagine how they were going to fit in the ornate bed he bought for Bella in Eclipse.

But they can't replicate things from a book exactly and I'm sure they will do a good job with this new house and we'll all forget that it's different when we're watching the movie.

They're probably using the other side of the house that the drive-by didn't see. I saw other pictures of the house and there was a big difference. I always imagined the Cullen house to be much more old-fashioned and with really big picture windows, not quite like those that are pictured. But it's the movies, and I imagine they are going to do a better job in the end with the New Moon house than they did with Twilight's we just have to wait to see the final product.

I think they are doing a fantastic job. I am pleased with everything they have done. While I loved the look of the other house, I am thinking because this house is a one level it will prolly have a bigger foyer/living room which if they filmed the graduation party/wedding/the last 2/3 of breaking dawn they may be able to use more of this house than a set. Dunno just a thought.

Yeah, the house was a big disappointment in the first movie. Catherine went out of her way to find this house that looked absolutely nothing like what was described, and even worked really hard to have the owner let her use it. Why not find a huge, white old fashioned house like in the book? Now Chris is in a tough position of losing continuity with the first movie, or staying true to the book. This house looks like it will be a bit better, though.

I agree with you. CH was so wrong in the things she changed . . .the house being one of them. I think this house, as far as the windows/glass backside of the house will work well for the description given in the books!

I think it will work for the outside visually. They will be able to work their "magic" once they go to post-production. It would be difficult to find a house that looks like the hundred year old home with windows/glass clear down the back. No worries.....Chris seems to know what he is doing!

Furthermore, what everyone needs to remember is that the way it looks in these pics isn't necessarily how it will look on film. Besides the whole CGI thing they can do now.....the angle, light, etc....make a difference how it looks on the big screen. I mean, Chris knows they are going to be filming Eclipse in a couple of months and I'm sure he chose locations easily reproduced/accessed by the next production team. Give the man a little credit people!!!!! (It'll be great nomesters! No worries!)

Well, I don't think that it is 1 story. If you look at the picture, it looks as if it is on the hill, and they are showing the side that is in the hill. There is glass on the ground that looks like the ceiling for the second/first floor.
If you look at it closely, you can obviously see that they are showing the back of the house, which is also a balcony, and there is at least 1 more floor, maybe 2.

We can't see the other side of the house. So as someone else stated previously, they could be using the outside shots of that house for the movie. The side that we are seeing doesn't look so spectacular so lets hope they are using the other side lol

I loved the driveway going up to the Cullen's house in Twilight. And when Bella pulls up w/ Edward to the house in NM .. for her bday .. I have a perfect image in my head of that driveway w/ white lanterns/lights lite up .. all beautiful for her bday party. I hope that they have the lights for the movie.
That house is gonna be VERY important soon .. especially if they make BD ...

You are so right, in BD (if made) the house is going to be the key focal point in most of that movie, that's were most of BD takes place, so they need to get it right.

I'd venture to say that by the time BD is made, they'll have enough money to build a custom set...

You're right . . . they'll need to be sure that the inside of the house is right for Eclipse so it is right for BD. I'm not so concerned about the house for NM but for Eclipse . . . it will be key!

Seriously, it aggravates me to no end that they butchered the story so badly. I mean, I love the movie and I watch it over and over again but when I'm reading Twilight (like I am now)......I can't watch it. Grrrrrrr......

I know what you mean. I refused to see it more than once in the theater due to how PO I was initially. I do have 2 copies of the DVD and I watch it over and over again (mostly with commentary on, so I can listen to my Rob :)), but really, I know they had no money, etc...but they could have done better. There were so many things about the movie that angered me, and so, like you I tend to return to the book to enjoy the true essence of the love story(my books are litterally falling apart :)) that was not portrayed in Twilight-the movie. I'm putting alot of trust in CW that he will somehow redeem Twilight with NM.

CW has the weight of Twi-world on his shoulders right now! Vampires nor wolves will be able to protect him should he screw up this movie!!! LOL

I have to say I don't like THAT house at all. The previous was was splendid, that one, not that much. OR the other side of the house is much better. If not, I hope it'll be used more for inside scenes than outside ones and that outside scenes will only be of small parts of the house,no large shoot of it whole.

The house in Twilight was nice and maybe there are no white mansion out there but I kept saying to myself, how are they going to hold a wedding there? and where is the library?

Well it doesnt look like the one in the movie or like the one I would have pictured from the book. It also seems to be a single story home, the cullens house had 3 floors. Oh well, I'm sure they will be able to make it work with their "movie magic", I cant wait to see how. :)

This is really cool! I like the house. See, I like the house better then the one describes in the book. It shows how modern the vampires are. It probably is going to be shot at a different angle. Now, there is one problem, where are the twinkly lights!? Alice put thousands on the trees around it, but I do not see a one light! It probably would take so much work, so I suggest you put some CGI in it!

I'm really disappointed with the house they chose as the Cullens House. I loved the one in twilight and I don't think they should've changed it. I think they should've used the same one. My believe is I think everything should be a continuation of the first movie. I hate when they change locations or actors . I think it takes away from making it feel like it was a continuation espeically to those that haven't read the books. Sigh, Im really discouraged with this house and it will probably take away from me seeing it several more times :/
