Lainey Gossip serves up a tantalizing new smorgasbord of New Moon gossip, focusing on two shoots that went down this week in the Vancouver area–a scene in the forest, and some scenes at the new Cullen house. Check it:

Monday this week, as I’ve already mentioned, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and Robert Pattinson were all on set by dawn. Very, very early starts to shoot on the edge of the woods. There’s a tense discussion between the three of them, then Taylor/Jacob leaves and wolf-transforms, then between KS and RP it gets kinda romantic as there’s talk of a wedding. Or something. They are shooting several options for a proposal, this is one of them – you’ll have to wait to see which they end up choosing.
Wednesday night and Thursday night it’s been evening shoots at the Cullen House, working until almost daybreak for all vampires and Kristen Stewart. More of the same tonight (Friday).

I think that ET thing is next Thursday the 23rd where they are interviewing Rob and Kristen about New Moon. Unless there is something else that was on last night that I missed.

Edward propose to Bella in New Moon informally, but formally in Eclipse. So it does make sense that the informal proposal should be included in New Moon, the movie, inorder to stay true to New Moon, the book.

Okay, everything sounds about right except Victoria at the Cullens house, yeah right like that would ever fly with the Cullens. Then I could see Edward, Bella, and Jacob all being together for the epilogue scene, but him transforming into a wolf is not in there or even referenced. He gets upset, but that is it. If he does transform that will def be a movie add. And lastly, the proposal. Okay Edward def brings it up to Bella when they are talking in her room, but as for as formal proposal goes that's not until Eclipse when she is trying to rape him and he tells her his conditions. So, yeah just a lil confused there.

ok .. the whole Jacob leaving and transforms as a wolf. That has to be when he "reminds" Edward of the treaty etc etc. I know they were by Bella's house .. but it could be her back yard, in the woods? or as I've said before ... ugh .. its not going to be the exact same as the book ..grrrr..

Proposal??? Please don't waste that now!! It really doesn't happen until the end of Eclipse .. it was more just "mentioned" in New Moon. Sometimes I think Lainey makes stuff up just to get a rise out of ppl .. ... then once again .. could be a totally bonkers script

ps - wtf is Victoria doing at the Cullen house? Did I fall asleep and completely miss something in New Moon???

Take everything that girl says with a grain of salt. She posts some great pics but doesn't seem to know squat about the movie/books themselves.

No problem...the way I look at her is just like I do any other tabloid type...they are out to make a buck and will do pretty much whatever it takes to get it. For her, it's how many hits she gets on her web-site. By continuing to get pics and make-up lavish stories about this and that regarding the movie and/or cast, she is able to keep the interest of Twi-fans. I will look at the pics posted on NMM but don't go to her site. :)

Maybe Victoria is at the Cullen's house because she's spying on Bella or something. Edward should hve heard her thoughts but at the end of the Twilight movie she was watching them dance and he didn't react to her thoughts or anything. *shrug* I am not 100% sure but it's an option.

Re: Victoria at the Cullen house....It could be just a scene showing that she knows the Cullens are gone, therefore, she is stalking Bella. I would think that's more for the movie fans to know whats going on. (just a guess)

Re: the proposal....They may just be calling it a "proposal" b/c in NM Bella asks Edward (right after he mentions marriage), what's the catch or punch line? (or something like that). And he responds calling it his proposal, even if it's not offically accepted untill Eclipse. I don't think mentioning the proposal in the woods would make much sence. Isn't Charlie suppose to be yelling at Bella to get her butt in the house? And right after Jake transforms (which doesn't happen in the book). I'm having trouble see that....

Jake: "Screw you Bella! And your little Bloodsucker!"
Jacob transforms and runs off.
Charlie: "BELLA!"
Edward: "So, ya, marry me and I'll change you myself. How bad do you want it?"

yea but he proposes in bellas room after the vote they better keep it the same coz in the book its good. BUT EVERYONE WAT DO U THINK thistalk of eclipse being filmed too well in eclipse edward bella and jacob are in tha mountains then jacob goes to transform to keep watch and then bella and edward talk about getting married and jacob hears remmember so im thinking that scene and they r filming eclipse too mabee if lainey is telling the truth then thats all i can think off it being. :o)

You could always try it! It would probably wash out quick if you didn't like it. The red always fades fast. My hair has red in it but it's mixed with black so I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum. I think with fair skin you could pull it off way better than I could!!

Yeah, I know, her hair didnt look the way it should have in Twilight. Her hair is perfect now, just as i picture it from Bella's description.

NM has more money than Twilight did in there budget so i guess they can afford better hair stylist, etc...I hope they fixed Bella's hair too, it wasnt quit right in Twilight.

Mine changes all the time, or it used to, I would go from platinum blonde to dark brown from one to the next. And a week before I had Sophie I went dark and haven't went back to blonde. It now Midnight Red which means it looks brown until the sun hits it and it just glows red. Its too expensive to keep getting blonde done, I used to have to get it done every two weeks cos my hair grows really quickly. And it doesn't curl either, I've tried everything, it curls for about 5 mins and then just goes straight again LOL

Well, I've only gone blond once in my life....and I blame that on a tempary lapse of sanity. LMAO! I've been every shade of red...from eggplant to Victoria's color. I've settled into the copper-brown shade I have now, which like you, looks mostly brown until I'm in the sun. :) I also don't hold curl worth a hoot. It's so frustrating! GAH!!!!

They should use the same words from the book for his proposal in NM. This way we can see him actually use the "will you marry me" words in Eclipse when he's down on one knee and she has the ring in her finger.

I think he should ask her "Marry me first". It can be the same as it is in the book, he asks her to postpone her change, because Carlisle agreed. He is trying to delay it.
I don't see anything wrong with that.

And it doesn't mean she is saying "yes" and that is an official proposal like he does in Eclipse. Lainey doesn't know what she's talking about.

I just hope that they do right everything after Italy. I would be disappointed if they rush it and that they just get together. I mean it just isn't realistic after all the suffering Bella went through.
I'm just afraid they'll mess up that part.

Yeah I understand what you mean, it resembles Eclipse.
But they could have changed the location where their talk takes place...so instead of Bella's bedroom, they'll talk in the woods. I mean they have to save time I guess.

But I just don't believe they are filming Eclipse too. Chris isn't directing it, it's just isn't logical to me...
I'll believe it when someone announces it officially.

I agree. And they actually did announce a while back that Eclipse would be filmed 8 weeks or so after NM stopped filming. A bunch of the actors have projects going on during that time period and have talked about the "break" between films. Not only that but they also said that they weren't casting for Eclipse during the last round of auditions . . . that it would come later.

Tuesday night most of the cast was at the Jackson Rathbone 100 Monkeys concert with the exception of Pattinson who was released from set late afternoon, was in Vancouver but did not want to take any focus away from his friend and his band. I heard they are filming both New Moon and Eclipse simultaneously. This would explain why Rob, Taylor, and Kristen are filming together in the woods (when they all meet to plan to fight Victoria in Eclipse) and the proposal/wedding talk. I dunno just a guess.

just a thought about the whole Victoria and the Cullen's house (if it's true). Some of the cast were saying that they are probably going to show more of what Victoria is up to in the movie. Doesn't it say in New Moon that Victoria went to the Cullen's house and it looked like they were all gone (or was that Laurent? Can't remember) but just a possibility.

As far as the 'proposal' I think as far as content they will stick pretty close to the book although they might vary on location, which is fine with me. It sounds like Chris knows what he's doing.

I love the hair... it perfect just like its described firey red... I hope they dont go to into the proposal thing it doesn't really happen until eclipse. edward say that he will change her only if she agrees to marry him first but that's it. I hope they don't mess this up, the proposal is such a key part in Eclipse. The woods thing must be the end of New Moon when jacob tells Charlie about the motorcycles and then waits for Bella and Edward in the woods for the treaty reminders.

so every time there is new news i get soooo excited i could scream...
i just recently became a fanatic when a friend gave me the saga for Christmas and immediately go hooked and went to theaters to watch the movie...but that means i missed the whole hype when they were filming Twilight..so in a way i was kinda glad i didn't have to suffer waiting for it to come to life.....im glad i get to enjoy all of this for new moon but its sooooooooo frustrating to have to wait!! ahhhhhhhhh i cant wait!!!

Victoria is in the New Moon book. She doesn't have lines in there, but she is referenced quite a few times. Remember after Bella finds out that Jake is a wolf and what he's been doing she puts it together. Laurent is dead, she knows that because Jacob tell her they killed him and that's when she figures out it's another vampire doing the killings and its Victoria. She tells Jake and gets them more info about her so they can try to catch her. She pretty much is trying to go after Bella throughout the entire book, but the she always leaves because of the wolves trying to get her.

I really hope Lainey is wrong because that bit of info, if true, basically just ruined the ending for me :( I mean I suspected there would be the scene with Bella/Jake/Edward in the forest after Jake takes the bikes to Charlie's house, but I didn't think Edward would propose in the forest. Grr.

Rachel is so beautiful. Plus, it's hard to believe that she plays the villain, acting the opposite of herself must be fun.

As for the proprosal, I hope Lainey is off. Because "Destined" is right, he only tells her that marriage is his condition, to change her. It doesn't happen until Eclipse that he actually asks her. And as for Jacob phasing in the woods - never happened. You only read that he's about to, 'cause he's so angry. You can tell that Edward wants her out of there because he can tell that Jake's on the verge of it. Oh well. I guess movie-adds are aloud too.. it would suck if these parts were out of order, or if they were skipped all together. At least we know that these scenes ARE in the movie. We have to give him that credit, sticking to the book is crucial.

Jacob drives Bella's motorcycle to the house to get her in trouble the 3 do have a heated discussion and Jacob leaves it doesn't say he drives off and they are in the woods so, ?? duh if your a wolf would totally make sense to phase and run right??? I think it makes perfect sense.

We did not say it didn't make sense, we are saying it is not mentioned in the book because its NOT. I know that having read the book numerous times. And if Jake went home he could run as human as well if he wanted to. It would still be a movie add on regardless. And for the proposal, again he did mention it to her, but it was not taken seriously by Bella until Eclipse because she gets the ring and everything and remember when he told her his best night out of the top ten is when she finally agreed to marry him and Jacob heard and was hurt. So yeah that is the one people is going to remember the most from Eclipse. And if they do incorporate it fully in New Moon they must be leaving it out of Eclipse.

You can't believe everything you read. Sites like Lainey cover Gossip and are covering New Moon as *film production* Meaning they probably aren't die-hard Twilight fans and don't know every single detail of every book in the series, if they've even read them, so they could be just throwing out things they've heard about the series here and there with no idea of the context or where those events fit into the series (like whether something is New Moon or Eclipse or even in the series at all).

But it's done 'properly' in Eclipse.
