200904190924.jpg Metropole, a new watering hole in Vancouver, was the host for Robert Pattinson last night. Myrobpattinson on Twitter was lucky enough to spot him, and has this report after being brave enough to introduce herself–

Robert Pattinson in the flesh at Metropole Vancouver 4/19/09 at approx. 11pm PST.

nicest.celeb.ever. Give this man credit! His first day off in God knows how long and here he is being gracious to his fans at The Dills lil bitty concert at Metropole in Vancouver! Nikki Reed and Kristen Stewart were also there, just a little better disguised.

Is it just me, or does Rob at the new Cullen House and this sighting lay to rest the rumor he was at Coachella?

  • It was nice to see Rob and Kristen out at the club together. I'm really getting tired of Nikki hanging around Kristen. She really needs to get a life of her on. ( NO OFFENSE NIKKI)Let Kristen breathe every once in a while or maybe she's there too also keep the paparazzi from taking pictures of Rob and Kristen out together as a couple. Haven't any body notice that Rob and Kris always have someone from the cast around when they are out together? I'm starting to believe Summit told Rob and Kris to have a cast memeber around them at all times to keep the relationship under wraps or keep the media attention down.

    i love KS! i'm so happy to see and hear reports that she's warming up to fans now. haven't heard one bitchy review about her from people who are giving their stories FIRSTHAND, not some secondhand rumour or papparazzi opinion! and i disagree, even if she doesn't have a huge grin like the sweetie Nikki is, she seems genuinely fine with taking photos with fans.

    Lucky girls! While celebrities are entitled to their own private downtime, if they venture into public places and fans spot them, how they react will show their true character. Rob seems genuinely gracious and friendly. Kristen, well...she doesn't seem to smile much does she?! Fans also have to know when to leave the celebs alone tho'!!

    I think they are all showing great patience with the fans. I don't think I have the personality to deal with it. I'd be like Sean Penn and be like . . . get the "f" away from me man. Very kind and sweet of all of them.

    What is really rude is that someone didn't even go there to see the band. If they had their book, obviously they went there just to get it signed and to see Rob. Even if you are going just to see him, can't you at least pretend to be interested in the band and leave your book in the car?

    I think after the hysteria of Twilight, when he was totally unprepared, he now knows what to expect. It would be horrible to have this amount of attention 24/7 but it goes with the job and I think they all know they have to accept it, and try to enjoy it (or at least look like they are!)

    Imagine what people would be saying about them if they were nasty and told people to stay away. It is better for them to be approachable, at least they know the majority of people who approach them are genuine fans of the books and movie and are happy to just have a few seconds and then go away.

    The girl from the dills said on her website that she was up here visiting her friends from new moon and that we should all come to the show because "you never know what kinds of vampires will be hanging out" so dont be surprise by the crowd and the book being there. BTW I was there and got a picture with him. He was sooo nice!!
